Chocolate Chip Cake Ingredients
1 stick softened butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon espresso powder
10oz mini chocolate chips
Bake in a greased bundt pan for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees

Hi Renae. Cake looks delicious. Would you mind saying how many ounces or 1/2 cup, 3/4 cup of butter. In Canada where I live, our butter all comes in 1 lb blocks. Not sure how many ounces in the stick of butter. Looks like half a cup but that is a guess. Thanks so much. Regards...
Sure! In the US, one stick of butter = 1/2 cup = 8 tablespoons.

Would it be okay to use a hand mixer?
Sure! Just make sure to mix only until combined. Don't overmix. And I'd recommend stirring the chocolate chips in by hand.
