Remove glue from Table Tennis rubber easily, quickly and without damage.

I used the table tennis ball method on the back of a Tenergy 05 and it was taking small chunks of the sponge out, but the topsheet was fine.

That's very helpful but how can we remove the excess glue? It's seems to be stuck to the rubber?
