I stand corrected. You are correct and I was wrong in the video. The correct order is 1-3-4-2.

Awesome video but that isn't an F4-134, Hurricane engine. That is a 134-L Go Devil engine 👍👍

Hi! I was hoping to find an info on the marking on the flyweel (TDC market) and the position of piston as you shown with the tape. What should it be in fact? Is the TDC mark on the flywheel corresponding to 1st cylinder compression stage? Thanks for the vid.

On my jeep the flywheel is on 180 degrees out. Which means that the TDC mark is on number 3 cylinder.

my cj3a flywheel was installed out of sync. the
tc and ign marks are 180 degrees off.. so I just find #1 tdc on compression stroke, after intake closed, and piston is at tdc... I detect that with a wire put in the plug hole, then use whatever distr. terminal the rotor is pointing at. good luck

Could be a number of things. Order the service manual and start with 1. battery/ignition cables, 2. spark plugs, 3. compression, 4. valve clearance, 5. distributor (check components/clean points, new condensor and points), 6. ignition timing (find TDC/ 5°BDC, retard or advance ignition), 7. carburetor (take off and service if not done already). Its best to get a service manual (can download online for free) and make it your bible. Good luck. Toiling with mine too.. :)
