    Awesome interview! Thanks for talking about America’s Volume Dealer, that’s my favorite Corrosion album. As a guitar player it was interesting to hear about its recording. Thanks again!

      Thanks, man! So glad you enjoyed it! It's a great album -- and the story behind the recording of it, as you indicated, was a really interesting one! Thank you for listening.

    This might be the best interview I've heard with Pepper. Wiseblood is my favorite COC.

    I remember the first time I heard COC I believe it was Dance of the Dead I loved it and Pepper wasn’t even singing yet I like Peppers singing better but at the time I had yet to hear him sing back then

    I saw CoC in this po-dunk hole in Wisconsin. Only a couple hundred people there. It would been so easy for CoC to play half heartedly but they played perfectly. Spot on. Total professionals and they killed it.

    Yeah man first time I heard C.O.C. was when they toured with Metallica and I was a fan from the jump. They played a killer set and had a huge sound. Pepper is a living legend for sure.

    I've often wondered why I liked the songs on Americas Volume Dealer, but found the sound/production lifeless. Hearing Pepper explain the 100% Pro Tools thing makes absolute sense now. I think they really lost something by not recording analogue, but I guess we'll never know.

    C.O.C. and DOWN two bands failed by rock fans, A league caliber bands

      They are both successful bands with great songs.

      C.O.C and DOWN both have their fanbase. They don't need FM radio or mainstream exposure to earn respect.

      @@butchvito radio helps....let's just be real that is how a band grows a fanbase or word of mouth

    • @butchvito
      @butchvito 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Dave_Wight_The_Rock_Oracle - I agree radio would help with a band's exposure. But what usually happens when bands get mainstream exposure? Their quality in music goes down. The record companies push for a more commercial sound. It ushers in an audience that has no clue about the band other than the radio hits. Down isn't a band made for radio, maybe a song or two. COC - America's Volume Dealer could have produced some radio hits but it was during the height of nu-metal. Radio and MTV only wanted bands with baggy jeans and fitted MLB hats. That bullcrap sound. Tough times.

      this is kind of a dumb comment, i mean they have a solid fan base but its like a cult following doesnt mean they're gunna do Ford commercials
