Never met Pepper, the only guys I have personal experience with are: Woody, Mike Dean and Reed Mullin. All great guys. Loved when they toured California. They were the greatest guys to work with. All with the same humble spirit. I used to sit on the floor next to Reed's drums while they were playing a set. LOVED it!!!
humble guys!!! woody is criminally under rated !!!!! coc have some of the best deep chunky riffs ever !! yo and pepper is playing the viper ltd deluxe im lucky enough to have one of those monsters !!! he's calling it the lexis that guitar has every bell and whistle offered but it says ltd instead of esp on headstock its a flat out machine that kinda went under the radar glad to see people using em

Love COC, laid back easy going. You know they actually play when they ask the Crowd what you wanna hear, One of the best underrated bands, still kicking and supporting other bands.
On the deliverance tour I got to talk to Woody for a little bit at a gig in Houston (club was called " the abyss" I think) and I asked a similar question about his gear and the answer was pretty much the same as it is in this video.

I could have him a Guitar made that would stay in tune. He needs a Guitar with an explorer head stock, with a straight pull a some Grover locking machine heads. I love those Guy's my absolute favorite band of all time. What talents , and what fucking Rif King's!!!! I can't think of a riff they came up with I don't like. And Peppers Vocals are perfect for me southern swamp rock, their like Lynyrd Skynyrd on Steroids. They have a cover of On the Hunt by Skynyrd, that's too perfect, better than Skynyrd

Pep also tells a very special story about what he was doing when he got the call that Dimebag had been shot. It hits hard! Cody also has a Metal band called Caned by Nod. He is such a Pepper fan. Both of them keeping it real. 💯
They way they smile as they talk just shows a level of satisfaction with their lives and their genuine joy to share with others. Pretty cool
