It just sounds so natural & relatable. People who diss the anime because of the animation is missing A LOT. Definitely one of my favourite scenes on anime honestly. Can't forget Kong singing during a compilation of the characters lol.
@@miruharabae the whole anime is just real,its even displayed in the animation,for a lot of people,anime is an escape,it feels,sounds and looks way better and way more exciting than real life,ping pong just looks human,there are no cute anime boys or girls with big tits,ping pong just looks and feels real

I just realized that in the game Smile constantly plays parallels the presence that competitive Ping Pong had in his life. He's in a spaceship surrounded by aliens and defends himself by launching a series of small white projectiles. After he loses to Peco and stops playing competitively he's shown to have replaced it with a Rubix cube. Man this show's symbolism runs deep
For a long time I saw myself as Peco, the Hero, then as Smile, needing to be saved. Now I realize I am both of them. I am the only one who can save myself from myself in order to truly help others and enjoy life, I'm not giving up on me.
I saw myself as almost every main character - kazuma, wenge, peco, smile, even sakuma. Now it might be hard to explain but understanding all of them makes the anime really special for me
In the end I think we all deeply are every character in the show, somehow. We could have had a moment in our life being arrogant in something, like Wenge Kong (China), but afterwards we understood that we have to get our feet on the ground and look at the reality in order to improve. Sometimes we may feel alone like Kazama does, and we just want to close ourselves in the bathroom like he does.
Biggest part was music and the shots, even only having the ability to understand a little bit of japanese I already know what the scene conveys. The scene feels so warm, I love it!

やっと最近、アニメ見終わったんだけど、なんというか気分がいいです。

このシーンいつ見てもかっこいいけどこのペコの前にオババが言う「白旗を上げる勇気ってのも覚えないとね」って台詞死ぬほど好きなんだよね
忘れてた時は真顔だったのに、思い出したら回想で笑顔になってる演出めちゃくちゃ好き。
ペコの「ビビって必死に耳塞いでたさ」っていうセリフと相まって泣きそうになる。
