I know someone who bought one of their quartz watches and it stopped working after only a few weeks of wearing, they made him jump through hoops to get it fixed and it came back and worked for like a week or two before breaking again. He was never hard on it or did anything to it that should’ve cause any wear and tear at all. Just thought people should know, it’s one thing if a product breaks, then it’s another if the warranty/cs is a painful process but to then receive a broken watch back is just a perfect cherry on top.
Try bertucci in titanium with sapphire, 200mm, with full lume, us made movement. I have two. They are indestructible. I wear on the job as a full time paramedic.
We speak the same language, I'm hoping to get a Vaer sometime but UK import tax adds 20 percent. I have enough mechanical watches but will probably buy more as the choice is greater. Love solar
I know Vaer explains on their website why you shouldn't expect a quartz watch to hit the marks, but other brands have figured it out. I have a mix of quartz and mechanical watches and all my quartz watches hits the marks spot on, if a watch doesn't I'll return it. Your video shows me 4 Vaer watches and as far as I can tell none of them has the seconds hand lined up properly, which may not bother some, but I can't deal with it. So no Vaer quartz for me, even though I like quartz watches in general.
Careful with the bracelets. I have two and they never fit flush with the lugs. $100 is way too much for the premium bracelets. That said, the 36mm watch head/ case itself is very nicely finished and looks of good quality. $100-$120 is way too much for the "premium" bracelets.
I've noticed that their quartz watches almost always have misaligned second hands. That's 100% a deal-breaker for me. A shame because I really like VAER watches.
I have to check Vaer out, but I doubt that they have my watch. * digital watch * not touch * not smart * no extra stuff, I just want to tell the time without a bunch of distracting stuff
I feel like watches are one of those budget items made to be abused... Especially if you're actually wearing it everyday. I'd much rather have a basic 20 dollar watch from walmart that can last 2-3 years of wear and tear than a 500 dollar watch I'm scared to wear for fear of damaging it
They are not my thing, but I'm glad you like them. I'm a mechanical person and their mechanicals are overpriced, imo. I'm surprised you haven't looked at Bertucci.
Meh. When you use the word "investment" and "next level" with these watches, you lose me. I'd MUCH rather have a vintage Omega Seamaster 300 or Breitling Colt for $1500 than three $500 Vaer watches. For one thing, you won't lose half your "investment" when you go to sell in five years.
@@maxlvledc I love almost every recommendation you make. Grip6. Cache cap. Keyport. Pyrite Lite. We just have different views when it comes to watches. And that's OK.

Thanks for the info👍
Glad you found a brand you like 👍🏽
Definitely fills a void in the marketplace for a decent looking watch at a reasonable price point
For real

do they have in quartz movement? Nothing is going to make me go to mechanical at this point.
@@maxlvledcyes, they have a quartz movement
It's like buying a new york pizza.

I would consider it only if “assemble in the USA” was not on the dial.
It should be on the case back, if at all.

The VAER Chronograph is not solar-powered. It is battery-powered.
I like VAER watches also. I too have several; though you only need one.
great looking watch

I bought 3 Vaer watches. In 2 of them there was dust on the dial.
vaery nice watch
Lols!
Are the bands made by Barton?
out of my price range

Hmm, check out their new ameriquartz military remake. It's a replica of the original. Very clean

Time, date & day is ok. I just don't want any other clutter.
I think Casio is the way to go for that.
The watches are nice however I did not like the packaging it came in
Fair criticism

I did, they were not doing it for me.

Truth
I like Dom, but I have to agree, that sales pitch about them being a good investment was a bit ridiculous, lol.
I'm going to wear them..all of the watches you mentioned need major maintenance probably costing more than a VAER by itself.
