How is this possible to have this much stamina, aggression, power, speed, pain tolerance.. this is insane these guys throw volume of punches kicks knees elbows basically full force for what 3 rnds non stop eat punches and kicks to the face for breakfast like its a snack hard to knock them out.. these are straight warriors.. love thai style everything is so quick and powerful and clean these are astonishing fighters seriously.. if they do jui jitsu too and some wrestling wow i would hate to piss off one these guys..

Who was winning in the points ? Muay Thai scoring confuses me. Was Liam winning cause he was landing more or was Rodlek winning because he wasn’t showing pain but Liam showed pain to his shots ?

Liam has some sick built up aggression/motivation cause the speed and power he trows those kicks with is insane. imagine all that power/stamina with the keenest eye in fighting, by that i mean no wasted energy. those 3 kicks he does repeatedly the 2nd and 3rd are sloppier than the first ( as expected ) but since he has so much explosive power just focus on hitting that 1st, and repeat those 2nd and 3rd kicks must drain ur stamina like no other. this man is insane love it

I remember seeing Liam when he was really young on Channel 5 when they used to show Muay Thai fights. He had a devastating low kick which would usually result in a TKO. When they stopped showing the fights on TV, I always wondered what happen to him. So imagine my surprise seeing him in the One Championship after not seeing him fight for years. Still an absolute beast and all round legend as far as I'm concerned.

people who are new to watching muay thai might think the Thai fighter is being disrespectful and arrogant with the taunts but he's not that's how majority of Thai fighters act I'm not quite sure why the meaning behind it maybe tradition but its not deliberately to be disrespectful they even do it during sparring also these Thai fighters are absolute killers in the ring but once the fight is done majority are the nicest respectful genuine most humble people you will have the pleasure knowing

Also to show the crowd and especially the Judges that his strikes are not effe ting him like they may have thought if he didnt put his arms out and smile afterwards. Its a veteran move 110% doing any little thing to swing the judges in your favour

It's also to entertain the crowd as betting is a major part of muay Thai in Thailand so they want to bring as many on board as they can

I feel like in this sport if you have a good boxing skills you always have the advantage, of course you need a good kicks too but I only seen a few of them landed a good punch, it seems that they are more focused on kicking and add just a little punch.
With the smaller gloves, it makes the hands more usable now
In the big gloves, if you dont have a lot of punching power, you’re going to be likely in the losing end because punches barely score anything in muay thai. In small gloves punches are harder to block plus you hit harder, so its easier to KO with punches giving you an advantage if you have boxing skills
