More than hard sparring, it looks to me intelligent sparring. I noticed how u pull off the punches to the head, and u hit full force with low kicks. U got the best out of the sparring without getting brain damaged. Also I like that u keep it fun
John boy Smith Exactly, even some strikes work better for different body types, shorter people have better leg kicks generally and round strikes, over hand punches, uppercuts, body shots, whereas tall people like myself have the downward elbow, the switch kick for power at range and wearing down forearms and discouraging catches, linear kicks like the back kick and push/ side kicks, and linear punches jab, cross, and easier to land knees in the clinch. There are other things aswell that give advantages such as heavier legs = lower centre of gravity harder to be swept but I won’t get too technical
Yeah and the tall guys are actually backing away from him! Lol I'm the only chick in morning class. I'm dancing around faking trying not to get clincht. A built guy just 5“ taller is like sparring a redwood tree.
It's been 4 months now that I've closed my gym, I miss it so much, the laughs, the cries, the blood, the tears,i now have to train people hiding from the authorities deep in the mountains and the farms, fuckin tired of this covid thing, I miss a good fight and I miss training with people,i miss Muay thai... :(
Looks very technical and controlled to be honest, so good sparring partners. Except spinning to the head after missing right. Hate when people throw that shit in sparring :( Wanna spin, give it to the body or arm then. But Liam just did that matrix lean back! Left hook counter with the sweep is just amazing!
True but on occasion it's somewhat admissible... for example this level sparring both partners do need to keep in training the thought in mind of, always attacking even if it means a follow up after a miss and to always be on defence even when/after attacking. Like it's needed in training for the muscle memory to be tuned where you act and react like they are, like you would in a fight. Not something that would happen a lot I think but from experience there are people, me included who don't mind that intensity in sparring if the training is required for it, my sparring partners all have varied levels they spar at, I think it's best to try and accomidate all... helps them improve and in turn yourself.
Yesterday i saw you for the first time. Now the second. I really like your attitude that hard sprring but all fun. Im looking forward to see some videos hehe. I train mma and i evolve the most with my mind. I mean i learn especially well when my brain sees something and i can generate that and put the things i see that i like together. Good video you got my sub 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
0:47 , that was a good setup to throw the jab then uppercut as the guy on the left backed away, he got hit with a left hook due to the uppercut side being open. I learned to block the open area of my face during an uppercut with the opposite hand 👍🏾
Fuck, i used to love going to this gym. String of injuries have effected my confidence in going back. Would feel like a fool for being worse than i was and older all at the same time. Lovely to watch how far Cravens come on though. Well done lads.
thats cool, life has set backs but you should just get back to it if you can and just enjoy it. i know the struggles though. Craven is a beast i will be filming with him this week so there will be some new videos coming. thanks
i feel like he looked at the camera and smilled because he knew he was going to use this still image as a background for his phone, or show it to someone out of context XD 3:52
Goddamn gyms all over are locked up due to pandemic for months, and these mutherfuckers got 4 dudes crammed in a ring?? Edit*- great footage tho, love the sweeps! 🧹🦶
In the beginning he is throwing full strength low kicks, don't think that's appropriate at all. Later on I agreed with level of strength he was putting in, given how it's "hard" sparring, but that low kick does not get my sympathy points at all. Honestly I would stop pulling any punches if someone throws that.

yes that is the most preferred style of sparring heavy to the body light to the head, , these guys are very masterful
@@SiamBoxing especially since you can't really strengthen the head, the legs and body are another story. :]
They’re all very aggressive and technical which I like keep up the great content
