That original, low-volume video was shot and posted in the August of 2018, but now I've reuploaded it, 3 years later. They both are identical except for the quality of the sound; no other edits have been made to the louder version. I decided not to remove the first one, though, because it had garnered tons of views, likes and comments, and attracted many subscribers.
The videos aren't perfect, even this one, but I hope I described things as clearly as to get across the basic idea.

Hi Mike, good day from the west coast of Canada! I just watched your whole demonstration, it is amazing how well you can do this! Imagine how much easier this will become in the future with A.I. and new technology. Wow, I am really impressed. Thanks for sharing this with us. Mike.

Hiyaa Mike! Glad that you've liked my presentation and everything I was getting across appears easy to understand. I think the AI indeed could come in handy at some points, it already is capable of describing images, although not without an error. I can't see yet how it would change the main way I use the computer and phone though.
I also have an Android smartphone, but that's a whole other story. Basically, the screen reading software slightly changes the behaviour of the touch screen, so that you can explore it by touch without the fear of activating something by accident, and then to run the app or whatnot, you tap twice against the screen. This way the system understands you'd like to activate the element, rather than just explore the screen. By the way, most Android and iOS phones do have this feature pre-installed out of the box. You can find it in the accessibility settings. Talkback on Android devices, VoiceOver for iOS.
So far so good, apart from having to deal with poorly designed inaccessible apps at times.
Greetings from Minsk, although I'm off to Moscow this Wednesday for a couple of weeks. Cheers!
      Mike

Your English is amazing! Very interesting to see how it works. I've never known all this before. Have you heard of the series of radio programs on BBC Radio 4, I think it's called Inside Science or Inside Health? I started listening to them in my car. They talk about different adaptations of technology for blind people.

Glad you've enjoyed the video! So, now you know how this can be done.
No, never heard of this programme. I'm not really into the English BBC, sometimes will listen to their Extra music channels targeted for the most part at the Asian and African communities of London. But thank you for letting me know, should check it out.

    Very interesting, Mike.
It looks like there can be challenges with some of the sites, however you manage to navigate through them.
Thank you for sharing this with us. This is something most people have never known.

Thanks a bunch, Age, for being this attentive! Indeed some sites present challenges, and I did want to showcase them, but a few setbacks occurred as we were filming it, so I decided to finish.
      Greetings from Minsk, Belarus! Cheers!

Hi, not sure if I understand your question right. There's the accessibility standard WCAG - www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/
In overall, most products are accessible, but some do have issues: the graphical elements are not labelled properly, for example on one website when you wish to edit a post you've typed, the "edit" button is represented just by a pictogram of a pencil with no verbal label. Other times the elements on a page may not be reachable by keyboard tabbing. These are the main issues, but there'll be a bit more. Then there are ways of using a smartphone as a blind person, and there you'll have similar setbacks, but the solution may not be the same because of the differences in handling a PC vs. phone and the operating systems.
I'd be glad to have a chat with you, but for that better write to me at

      Cheers!
