I have been stuck for four years bailing on other projects and never coming back on them I regret it. I sat down while, take a breathe and take a break then I will look for legends to get inspiration. I am trying to stay away Asian legends and creatures since they have been done to death in light novels. While also avoid common creatures in my story if a can. I tried to write a normal novel but it didn't workout that well, I think writing as a light novel is my kind of style I think... well still not sure and I wish all of you good luck.

how can I feel motivated while planning my book before I write. I got an entire rutine here but whenever I sit to think new stuff my mind goes blank and I feel like going on TH-cam and procrastinate. how do you do it in the early stages? I have set an deadline of 30 days till 31 August to plan out the story.
I think your approach of setting a deadline works well. Another method I like to use is to listen to music that reminds me of my book, to help inspire me before writing it. 😊
Well sao vol 01 had twenty two chapters. While sao progressive had thirty. So as long as it's anywhere between that and its between 100 to 300 pages it really doesn't matter.
