Hello Kitti Its strange how human biology works. If society says were not supposed to have a kid in our teens, why can women concieve as early as 11? As soon as she hits puberty and gets her menstrual cycle, she is able to give birth. So are human women supposed to have kids as early as 11?? I think our biology is off. Women should start menstruation at 18 imo lol. Our brains arent even fully developed until 25 so wth.

I tried to take my life afterwards. No one asked me how I felt. My Mom considered herself the victim of being a parent of a girl that could do somthing like that. I remember her punching my stomach and screaming about how I could do that to her? TO HER!!! There was NO ONE on my side. Even the Dr. looked down on me. That was 40 yrs ago. Maybe times have changed? But it left me with emotional scars and wounds that have still not healed. THANK YOU for sharing your story and journey. I can only imagine how hard its been but you are making it work!! God bless you and your family.
Same thing happened to me when I was 15. My mom took me to planned parenthood on MY 16th BIRTHDAY. I told my parents that I did research about women who have terminated pregnancies and had always been emotionally scared by it. They told me I shouldn’t believe everything I read in the internet. The doctors talked down to me, my family talked to down me. No one took a second to see how it was effecting me emotionally they just shamed me. Don't mean she is matured compared to anyone else. My mother was 17 when she had me and pretty much blamed me for ruining her life as she had put it. I was 23&25 when I had my children. I am 40. Divorced and domestic violent survivor so are my kids. I'm also high school bully survivor as I was bashed everyday for two years by other teen girls that wanted to get pregnant and their reason why they bashed me everyday was because I refused to join in the baby making cult.
@@fixerrr98 That is an example of co parenting. Co parenting is when multiple people raise a child. They have shared custody. It's usually in reference to people who aren't in a relationship with each other.

My birthmother was 13 years old when she had me. I was adopted and lived in NYC and she lives in San Antonio. There were times that I wished my Birthmother kept me but I knew that she was not ready to do so. I commend this girl for being deciding to keep her and being an awesome Mom. You go girl!
That may be true But it really all comes down to if the parents are supportive enough to LET HER keep her At 13 you can’t make a decision to keep a child because if you do then most parents will not support you, make you leave somewhere god only knows where & then you’re on your own Like I knew a friend who had a baby as a young teen 14 15 maybe, well long story short, her dad absolutely refused to let her keep the baby by giving it up for adoption or she ends up possibly being homeless with a baby to care for For most parents of teens who are pregnant, that’s how it goes It is very rare & just saying in general, you’d be extremely lucky that your parents would let you keep a baby at age 13 or whatever age that comes before at least 16 & even that’s bad But 13 I can’t imagine I mean personally if I had a daughter and she got pregnant at 14 & I was married & my whoever didn’t want our daughter to keep the baby, then I’m sorry that would probably cause a divorce because there is NO WAY I would ever think twice of my child having to give up also my grandchild, so if he didn’t except our daughter with a baby & living with us, well then fine Well find somewhere to be & I would literally leave to move out and just live with her & the baby I mean if I really had to pick, I would most likely pick grandchild over husband or boyfriend because he be wherever he want but the baby does have very many options of living but an orphanage which would NOT happen But I know most people wouldn’t agree with me on this especially if you’re old fashioned

Regardless of the age at which she had her baby, she's a mother now and clearly working hard in the role. Criticising the decision she made at 13, whilst she was still a young teen, is both pointless and cruel. She honestly seems incredibly mature for a sixteen-year-old and I wish her all the health and happiness on her journey.
You said it yourself. a decision made at *13* years old. I dont dislike her as a person, im sure she is a great mother but she shouldnt have to be a mother at 13. Imagine being her parents and finding out she will have a kid when she is 13 years old. Would you still think it is okay? It is not cruel nor pointless to have common sense.
@@meowthtroplaysvideogames The parents of teen moms are often part of the problem in the first place. My step daughter had a baby at 15 and another one at 17. But her mother was letting her have sleepovers with boys at their house when she was 13, so really I'm surprised she wasn't pregnant sooner. And guess who is raising both kids now. Not their mother or her mother, who, in my opinion, was the person most responsible for the pregnancies. Thirteen year olds are just beginning to learn how to make good decisions, but their brains still lack the ability to focus on lifelong consequences of their actions. And that's not their fault, that's just biology. But that's what parents are for, teaching their kids how to make good decisions. And if the parent is reckless, irresponsible, or just plain stupid, their teenager will suffer from that. I guarantee some young teen, who loves babies and wants to be a youtube star, as a lot do nowadays, is going to watch this and think having a baby would be a good way to start a youtube channel since there are a bunch of teen moms channels out there now. Sorry to rant, but discussing teen pregnancy gets me really fired up, since it has directly affected my family. I love my grandkids like they are my own kids and I'm happy to have them and they are very happy to be with us. However, I'm sure as they get older, they will think about what could have been with their own mother had she been responsible enough to wait to get pregnant so she could parent them herself. It saddens me very much.
Right, because it wasn't her decision. She was too young to make one of this magnitude, this is all on the grandparents for letting her go through with it.
If they didn't tell me her age before and told me after, I wouldn't believe them. She has the mind, humor, and personality of an adult. Strong, independent women, and a VERY good mother. I wish for nothing but fortune in her and her daughters life.
The most important part in this video to me is when Maddie said that the parents are only the sidecharacters and that the child (Everly) is the hero. Way too few parents think this way, even when they are in an „appropriate“ age to have children. So, no, just because you are young, it doesn’t mean that you are a bad mother or father.
Yeah openingly stating in vlogs you cannot afford health insurance for your child then going to the salon to get a head full of exstensions and ridiculous looking lashes does. Everly is sweet and seems happy, but Maddie really sucks.
@@laceyspacey8161 Maddie is still a child herself. The thing is, a child doesn’t become an adult, just because it’s a parent now. It’s a little too hard to say „Maddie sucks“ in my opinion. And if we’re honest, then we know, that puberty is all about finding the true self, finding a place in this world and searching and finding borders. This alone is already hard enough. And now add a child. Of course, not everything is as good as „older“ parents would be able to do, and yes, some things could be done better, but Maddie can learn about these things and adjust herself better to her role as a mom as she keeps learning. Let’s give her some time.
@light Yes, because of my parents I exist. But no one asked me if I wanted to. And sorry, don't start with the "sacrifices" routine. My. Parents. Wanted. Me. So it's rather obvious that they have to sacrifice some things in their life. If you are a parent and you are not aware that parenthood comes with sacrifices, then you should not have children anyway. I wasn't asked whether I wanted to be on this world or not. And yes, from the moment when your child is born, you as a parent are a side character. It'd be selfish, to view your child as the side-character since it's completely helpless without his parents. It's not the childs fault though. And about the things parents never say: Please, speak only for yourself. You don't know how it is anywhere else. In my opinion, it is inappropriate to demand thankfulness from somebody who had no possibility to decide if he or she was okay with being born. I, for example, was a premature birth and had to face troubles from the very beginning of MY life. But my life is marked by surgeries and medikations. I can't go to disco's, I can’t drive a car, I may not dive and I am sleepy all the time. Due to all that and more, I cannot work a proper job and earn a proper income, which means I am stuck at home alone. I don't have a girlfriend, because how? I can hardly ever go out, because I might have a seizure and it can't be loud when I leave my flat, because due to all the surgeries that I've had thus far, I would develop terrible headaches and many other obstacles that I didn't even mention here. I have to deal with the consequences that resulted out of my birth. I and nobody else. So forgive me if don't have the opinion of parents as saints.
I've watched sooo many stories of sooo many young teen mothers but Maddie & Everlee r special. I feel like her pregnancy may have actually saved her life. The fact that western society thinks itself as THE golden standard by which every society is judged is just stupid and narcissistic. Women in Some societies give birth at 13 and 14 and their level of maturity is a lot more than you have in the West where they might be playing with toys at the same age.

I saw you on Snapchat and came here to look you up. My mom had me when she was 13 back in 1976. Her mother basically kicked her out and her dad wasn’t really around. My dads family took her in for a bit but things didn’t work out for very long. Our lives weren’t easy but we are very close and I cherish her for what she endured to bring me into this world and raise me alone. She got lucky.
her boyfriend came back. He didn't vanish.
Her parents carry her baby.

Birthmother kept me but I knew that she was not ready to do so.
I commend this girl for being deciding to keep her and being an awesome Mom. You go girl!
That may be true
But it really all comes down to if the parents are supportive enough to LET HER keep her
At 13 you can’t make a decision to keep a child because if you do then most parents will not support you, make you leave somewhere god only knows where & then you’re on your own
Like I knew a friend who had a baby as a young teen 14 15 maybe, well long story short, her dad absolutely refused to let her keep the baby by giving it up for adoption or she ends up possibly being homeless with a baby to care for
For most parents of teens who are pregnant, that’s how it goes
It is very rare & just saying in general, you’d be extremely lucky that your parents would let you keep a baby at age 13 or whatever age that comes before at least 16 & even that’s bad
But 13 I can’t imagine
I mean personally if I had a daughter and she got pregnant at 14 & I was married & my whoever didn’t want our daughter to keep the baby, then I’m sorry that would probably cause a divorce because there is NO WAY I would ever think twice of my child having to give up also my grandchild, so if he didn’t except our daughter with a baby & living with us, well then fine
Well find somewhere to be & I would literally leave to move out and just live with her & the baby
I mean if I really had to pick, I would most likely pick grandchild over husband or boyfriend because he be wherever he want but the baby does have very many options of living but an orphanage which would NOT happen

@@meowthtroplaysvideogames but this is life, everybody have their own different story
She said it as I was reading your comments.

You can tell how much she just loves her little girl. Sometimes we can learn so much from loving our children I think she’s gonna do great things with Everly
She apparently does'nt love her enough to get her health insurance since on her channel she openly admitted to not getting any for Everly.
She’s an amazing mom!! There are moms in their 30s who could take lessons!! Way to go!!
Moms in their 30s have life experience. Why would you take advice from
A teen ?
@@MelaniaRose because they have life experience just as much as the next person. Don't discredit someone else because of their age.
@@MelaniaRose There you go shaming another woman. What a shame.
@@MelaniaRose i’ve looked through these comment threads on a few comments and all you’re doing is spreading hate to this young girl and her family. it seems like you’re more of a horrible person rather than her.
@@dannidmrozek194 actually that is false. She doesn't have the same life experience as a teenager to compare to my 49 yrs of life
I had my son at 26, pregnancy and parenting is hard as hell and I cannot imagine having a child so young honestly I admire her! She’s amazing! And obviously an amazing mother and Everly is adorable 🥰 x
@Despise SIMPS no a girl who is pregnant will see this and realise there is hope and that their life can be amazing as a mother. She never made it seem all rainbows and happiness, you must have skimmed past the bit where she talked about the vile things she had to hear and deal with.
I think you're doing an amazing job my girl. I was 23 and married 2yrs when I had my first son was born 20+ yrs ago, it was hard. I am so proud of you turning all the negativity into motivation to prove everyone wrong. You are an outstanding mommy.
I'm 13 right now and I don't think I could have done half of the things that Maddy does! She is so strong and she is a great mom!
She is strong lmao. She is just hormonal addicted. SexAddict. Who the fk gets pregnant in 13.Shame on those

Maddie and Isaac are better parents than mine were growing up, especially in terms of how they are able to co-parent lol.
I was a mom at 17, and I DO NOT REGRET IT! OPPOSITE! It was one of the happiest days in my life! And my daughter is the biggest joy in my life. I would give her anything and everything for her health and happiness. It’s a bond between a mother and child, it can’t be explained. ❤️❤️❤️
I love this!!! My mom was 16 her mom was 15 my sis was 15 TEEN PREGNANCY ISNT AUTOMATICALLY SOMETHING EVERY GIRL THINKS IS A BAD THING...MY MOM MY GRAM AND MY SIS WERE ALL TRYING TO GET PREGNANT WHEN THEY DID! IM SO GLAD I SAW THIS COMMENT!

@@roddma No one’s really condoning it, but it still happens and the last thing pregnant teens need is hate. Like Maddie said, don’t support teen pregnancies, support pregnant teens!
@@parkernielson9231 you love it? There is a pattern in your family which has normalised it… is simple as that. It has now shaped your view. In today’s world, there is very little reasons to becoming a mother when still a kid yourself, and I mean emotional maturity. Other than being violated. Those who choose to plan a pregnancy at this age is usually escaping something else
Had my daughter at 37 and would not have it any other way. It’s not wise to have kids early in life.
The fact that they’re coparenting and both admiring to their faults but also moving forward and trying their very best for that little girl makes them amazing parents !
So happy her and Isaac are on much better terms now and are able to coparent as I’ve watched Maddie since Everly was just a baby and know it’s not been easy. It’s been so lovely to see how much her and Everly have grown 🥰
its amazing that her child probably saved her life.
I had my first son when I was 16.. my second son when I 20 & my third son when I was 21. I don’t regret any of it. Today I’m 36, my oldest is 19, he is living in another state going to school, has his own apartment & is doing amazing!! My other two are 16 & 14 & they are so heathy & happy. I have the most amazing relationship with all 3 of them. It has not been easy but they have thanked me for having them at a young age. I’ve been able to share life lessons with them as I learn them & they are grateful for that as well. I’m happy for Maddie, Everly & Isaac. They are doing better than I was when we were all younger.💜💜💜
Good luck to you! She took responsiblity, and try her best to be the best to her duaghter, so hats off, and nobody should judge here! :)
Just watched this on Snapchat & had to come here to say this- this girl is an AMAZING mother & she should feel extremely proud & accomplished. I feel like she was meant to be her daughters mother, & from the looks of it, she is doing a perfect job at raising her.
I have to say i'm so touched by the efforts they put into co-parenting for the sake of their daughter. My parents bad relationship has always been really hard on me and i'm so glad the little Everly won't have to go through that. They are simply amazing!
2009 I was 14 an my ex was 12 she got pregnant and had a baby at 13 now she's nowhere to be found but I'm still here with a now beautiful 13 year old daughter and I just turned. Wouldn't give up being a dad for anything

Hi sweetie, I saw your video on Facebook it was in my recommended videos section. I want you to know that it’s not always teen moms they get a bad rap. I was 24 and a single mom of a little boy then I got pregnant with my daughter. Her father was around but he had another woman but he never really took responsibility until I asked for child support. For a year and a half he kept saying my daughter my daughter my daughter and the minute I asked for child support he asked for a paternity test. From this little video that I have watched I can tell that you are a very wonderful mother and you love your daughter very much. Don’t let the world bring you down. Just be the best mom that you can be to her and she will always love you. Trust me, I am 53 years old my daughter is now 29 and she is taking care of me. I have subscribed to your channel and I am looking forward to following you on your journey of parenthood.❤️❤️❤️❤️😇😇😇😇😇‼️
This comment section is wholesome. I love seeing a lot of support and love for her. It's great that they are both being mature and raising Everly the best they can.
it is not any bad thing for a teenage to become mom Or to be pregnant.
But their families should be supportive & . Nowadays young boys girls especially girls are too much interested to be relationship with boyfriends...
And they do physical relationship without using protective measures.
And they should also focus on their studies....
.
And it is not ever body cup of tea for a teenage girl to become 🤰pregnant..
It needs lot of patience and courage...
But they should also focus on their babies
What a mature, beautiful mom Maddie is. Everly is a lucky little girl to have such a mature mom. I wish them all the best. Her attitude about motherhood is awesome!
Having my daughter at 14 was never a mistake. I clearly didn’t know what I was in for but after graduating high school and finishing college. I knew it’s not what I wanted for her. I did everything in my power to protect her. She’s 25 now she graduated two years ago with her masters. If I could time travel back to 1994.. I wouldn’t change one thing! Enjoy you’re sweet babygirl I know my daughter is my best friend and people could say what they want. This life is NOT for everyone. I’m 40 time flies enjoy every minute and show her the world so she knows what’s out there.
Very lucky you didn't get kicked out. This is a very risky life for children all included...
Did college not teach you the difference between "your" and "you're"? That's grammar school level.
@@reidchambers2521 you don’t need to be rude
you had a baby at 14 YOU ARE A DISGRACE
@@nibbahater that’s nasty it’s not like she can turn back time and it’s not something she will be proud of it’s just something she will have to live with it’s not a regret it’s just not a nice feeling to live with just imagine it happening to you, or your mum if she had you young.. think about what you say before you say it you don’t know what it could trigger this isn’t meant to seem mean cause u might be young and you might not realise what your doing and I understand I’ve been there nd done that and as you get older you realise there really was no need to say that. It’s not just you but I just want you to understand what things like that can do to people. Think before you say something!
The last time I saw her channel was when she made that post trashing Everly’s dad. I am so glad that they have smoothed out their differences and are now in a happy coparenting relationship!!!!
She is probably one of the most mature teen mothers i have ever seen. I hope she is super proud of where she has come because I dont know many young women her age who would have taken this kind of situation and learned so much from it in such a short period of time. Of course family support and financial status play huge factors into this, but it is very refreshing to see.
Unpopular opinion, I don't think she's a bad mother, I think HER mother is a bad mother.
For what? You can't always you can't always watch your children 247 as teenagers.
