You should put that plastic panel back over the "Sticky Fingers" zipper. It protects not only the cover of the album in front of it, but the SF album itself. That zipper will take a bite out of your SF vinyl.

If you get a legitimate copy then the sound is spectacular but if it was suspiciously cheap then it's likely a Chinese bootleg and I can't speak for those.
@@chad5908 I picked up the real vinyl edition one awhile back. Have yet to really go through it. Glad you like the sound. One YT reviewer (45 RPM Audiophile) doesn't like these at all. I think his very high end system may have a negative influence (perhaps the mastering did not allow for his kind of system) in this case, but just speculating. He is on record as not liking the way Abbey Road has mastered these Stones albums. Who knows if he just listened to the classic titles, and how much. I've been trying to find reviews on YT to balance this assessment out but I don't see many really digging into this box set. Hoffman Forums may have a discussion, but that will take time to wade through. So thankful for this video, anyway. The packaging and one-stop shopping for the post '60s output in this box sure is nice. Cheers.
I had a half speed copy of Voodoo Lounge. It sounded like a digital transfer to vinyl. Total loss of dynamic range. Not good at all. Then they released it again in 2024 and it was an analogue pressing. Big difference. I have a feeling that all of the half speed master versions of the Stones albums are digital pressings. I would stay away from them.
I'm out of room for vinyl records but what I like to do is record the music I collect in the order that the group recorded them. But the guy that turned down the Beatles in 1962 also turned down the Rolling Stones the following year. The Stones (especially Keith Richards) always thanked George Harrison and Decca gave the Rolling Stones another session. The bad thing Decca has enough tracks to release an Anthology set. But they won't.
sweet black angel is very unique song. although i am korean. Even to me, this song sounds very friendly as if it were a song I knew before Of course, I've never heard a similar song around me. It was like a friend traveling to a strange place. torn and frayed, loving cup especially stop breaking down is very important song which was written by Robert Johnson. He was the one who wrote the song "love in vain"
Too box set … the attention to detail equals the Beatles in mono box … I adore my set … and like you I never heard or owned at least half of this box …was totally surprised at just how good the latter albums are …. The sleeves here replicate the original uk albums ..,
