I've had a pair of SCM40s for just over 2 years and I LOVE THEM!
Totally agree, I’ve had my satin white pair for about the same amount, and they are fabulous.

These are great speakers and this room sounded fabulous at the show!!
Been using these (passive) for about 8 years now. No regrets whatsoever, in fact one of my best hi-fi decisions.
I’ve never heard a single word of criticism about this loudspeaker 🧐
They are great...if you can listening realy loud.
Not for apartmants.....because neighbours.
For houses only.
I have the SCM19 that has the same tweeter...airy,detailed and refined without fatigue
I too have the 19’s and they are sublime. I would like to get some 40a’s to simplify my system and increase base a little bit.
SCM7s have the same tweeter. I use a pair as near-field monitors.
@@admranger I have a small room,about 12mq and for me the'19 are enought!
We Brits always made good speakers.......at least we still make something worthwhile.
Eeeeee...but...fish and chips?!?
For me unknown reasons, everyone gave up on the domed middletones
