Hello - thanks for showing this.
Q: Does this AWD Fluid change apply exactly to my 2018 Regal TourX AWD, I think also called Opel Insignia B, the 2nd generation model ?
Also, I was about to do an AWD Fluid change but don't grasp what you mean by "Haldex" ?
I'm aware of the small front differential "power transfer unit" + the Rear differential too.
    But a 3rd unit - ? - Haldex ??
On earlier model but does mine have this ?
Major removal & dissembly reqd for fluid & filter renew ?
My car has no leaks & nothing wrong but it's 6 years old @ 76,000 miles = Fluid change time.
Thanks ahead for your kind advice !

Wow...I have a 2014 Buick Regal, which is essentially the same car underneath....After 5 winters here in NE Ohio, I can't imagine successfully dropping my exhaust. (Salt on the roads.) I'm hoping a fluid change and cleaning of the pump screen will suffice. Great video-not much info on this AWD system out there.

Buick Regal = Opel Insignia = Saab 9-5 / 9-3 (Similar enough anyway), parts/chassis are very much shared, this is same as the Saab XWD.

Did you ever do lube service your 2014 Regal AWD ?
Is yours same as my 2018 Buick Regal TourX AWD ?
      Or earlier generation ?
      Thanks - David in Texas

@@psalm2forliberty577 I had a shop do it. They told me the fluid was very dark and probably should have been done sooner. Anyway, that car is now someone else's problem.

This is what happens when car manufactures tells you that the oil don't need to be changed cause it will last for the warranty time, and then 2-3 years later they can sell you a brand new differential because they say it's worn out. Same stories goes for automatic transmissions in Volvo and VW/Audi.

NO NO NO you service, diff, haldex and transfer box these are all part of the 4x4
Start with the differential: and check level first by removing the fill plug
      This is IMPORTANT!
Oil level should be at plug hole level, slowly starting to come out or can be seen in hole.
If it is significantly low, this is sign of leak.
BUT IF IT IS HIGH, comig out at large ammounte, this is sign that Haldex oil is comig through seal in rear differential.
THIS IS SERIOUS! Immediately check Haldex oil level and if it is low see expert.
Now move on to the Haldex and or do the front transfer box

      Appreciate this info !
      Clarifying question:
(I have USA model Buick Regal TourX AWD Wagon, 2018)
Is "Haldex" a center differential ?
I WAS aware & about to service what I 💭 thought was required:
      1) Rear Differential
      2) Front PTU - power transfer small differential
(I should also add: my 8 speed Aisin Transmission)
So help me understand what you mean by "Haldex" ?
Car has 76,000 miles no apparent fluid leaks runs quiet but never serviced that I can tell.
      Appreciate your time !
