In today's video we are going to talk about a problem that affects the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and that takes time on everyone's lips.
This is a defect where by the touch screen of these models does not respond, at the same time that a blinking horizontal gray bar appears at the top of the screen.
This problem, dubbed Touch Disease has caused complaints from thousands of Apple phone users around the world, especially those who own a phone manufactured in 2015. In principle, Apple has not recognized the failure officially, and is not responsible for its repair if the phone is outside the warranty period.

So you melt back the solder connection of U2402 so that after back cold down it will eventually solve the cracking solder/intermittent connection???
So did you replace the meson chip because it was bad? Or did you use the same chip because it was wrongly installed during manufacturing?

My iPhone 6plus had a partial dead screen after download update in February 2019 . Took it too a phone repair man who replaced the screen and battery . It works like new again . The original screen was not comparable with latest update he said . It works like new again .

Can ic touch problem be fixed permanently?
2018 still happening - I dropped my iPhone 6 and this problem started happening. It's annoying af, even if you try and replace the screen it'll still do that. So save your money, but what I figured out while trying to solve this issue is:
a) If you put it in a freezer or use a blow dryer (to make it colder or hotter) it'll work for a few minutes before it ends up doing it again.
b)Also if you press hard and hold under the camera area, you'll be able to use it, but that's until you let go.
So I personally suggest, signing out of your iCloud with one of those methods, and force resetting it so everything deletes. Then sell it online or some (that's what I'm currently doing) and purchase another iPhone that's not in the 6 category. Please like this so others can see.

Yess sometimes I have to place it In a cold area or hot area and sometimes I have to bend or press by the camera area for it to work

What tool are you using to remove the resin?

This is not a final solution, the phone will come back with the same problem, you need to make the m1 jumper to fix it permanently .

My iPhone 6 screen has been not working only right part but the left part is fully functioning.The services are asking to change my screen but i think according to this video the flaws is not in the screen. Please give me some suggestion for my phone.
tharlinhtet97, when they put the new screen, if the problem is the touch ic, with the new screen the device will work in the same way as now ( only the left part)...

not a good idea to wrap the tape around the board, its holding the heat in it longer
It's heat resistant tape. He puts it there so other components don't get heat

Whats the problem still not understand
I went to Cancun last September and my phone got water damage . ( XS MAX) Never turned on again . Today I tried charging it and some how it turned on but parts of the screen will not work so I can’t put the full password in . Number 6 won’t work :( ... any advice pls I would love to get my pictures back from this phone. Would this work ? . Thanks , Ed

What I did to fix mine (so far it’s worked 2 days) is take as many screws out of the motherboard as you can and pry on the side gently while tucking in tightly folded paper shims. There was another video where somebody took out the motherboard and put electrical tape on the back as a shim but my screwdriver hates half of the screws in that phone.
Aaron Beepdoo , when you ve got touch problem because of the ic from the motherboard, the solution is to change the ic or do the reballing...

So I went to fix a broken glass on my iphone6 and they said its gonna cost 120 since they would replace the entire screen and ofcourse 10 days. Cause in india there is only authorized apple services. Then I said ok atleast change my battery. So the phone is working fine and I gave them to replace the battery. 2 hrs later they give me a dead phone. Says there is a hardware problem and I would need to change my motherboard which is gonna cost 300. I gave them a working phone for battery replacement and they gave me a dead phone. The iPhone logo come and then goes away. They said they are not responsible for hardware failures ( which btw they did it) and so I am stuck. Now I have doubts to go to the service centre to upgrade my imacs since they would damage it and I would have to pay for it. I finally did some stuff using my back up and it was working fine until today the touch screen stopped working and there are lines which come and go in the display.

Hello, Matrick! First of all you need to try with another spare part, from other supllier, just in case that the screen you used for the replacement is wrong. In the case that the touch does not work with another spare, you have a problem with the touch ic of the motherboard. Best regards
