- This is the most common boot-loop problem that happens in the iPhone X/XR/XS series/11 series.
If you're a beginner in micro-soldering, this is the repair that you must learn. Be sure to follow the SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) before risking your customer's data.
Advice for End-users:
This is only one of the top common boot-loop issues, there are more than 10 reasons for the boot-loop problems. So please don’t simply tell your local technician to do this without proper checking. I know tons of you guys are like that. There is a chance you pissed them off and then they swap the parts out of your device.
2nd Advice:
Don't bother to buy a 3rd party program to fix the boot-loop problem. Read the article for more info.

3rd Advice:
Go to Apple center? They will restore your iPhone and return to you with the same problem and data is erased. Their first policy is to restore the iPhone no matter what the problem.
You might say: Water damaged? No way. It’s water-proof!!
I know you will be saying this.

Lastly, I gonna tell you that the rice pot is NOT gonna repair anything except waiting for it to dry and see your luck. Corrosion is still there and expanding.

My iPhone X was stuck in a bootloop and then stuck in DFU/Recovery mode.
My Fix Process:
1. iMyFone Fixppo (free version) kicked my phone out of DFU/Recovery and back to the boot loop.
2. During bootloop, I removed my screen with nothing but force and a guitar pick
3. Still during loop, I just ripped the FaceID cable out of my phone lmao
4. Phone booted properly, and I was able to do an iTunes backup fine.
5. I was able to set up my new phone with the X backup, even if there was more physical damage to the X.

@@iPhoneServiceMalaysia I removed the flex, finally switched my phone on, made a copy of my phone on iTunes just in case I couldn’t fix it for good, and then took it to the service where I showed your video and they did exactly the same as you did. And I have my phone back! So thank you)

@@koodacar9 No, doesn't fix. Don't do it, will delete all your data for nothing. Change the part and back to business.
I mean if it’s a software issue it IS solved through restoring. It’s not for nothing. If you prioritize data, have sufficient backups of your things to begin with, and it would make sense to start hardware first. But if people just need a phone software tends to be the first troubleshooting step.

Thank God I still have my laptop because if I didn't, I would be totally cut off from communicating with the outside world. I have 7 more days of quarantine then I will attempt fixing my phone. If I cannot fix it I will buy an iPhone 12!

I have a iphone x Wich is stuck on bootloop after dropping it from the table. The screen is not broken but shows a green line in the middle and white bigger line on the left. Hi. Still need to test with another screen. Screen can also caused such of problem, but chance is low. Better send to a proper technician to check on the spot.

iPad Pro 11 2020 has the same Face ID. Just did a reflow to resolve the same issue, no boot, power cycling. What's different is no image too.

Thanks for the instructions. I have a IphoneX which goes beyond apple logo and comes to home screen. face id works, signal and wifi is there all is fine for 30 to 45 secs and then it restarts. this is a cycle which happens every time. what can be suspected?

i have an iphone 7 plus stuck on apl logo i do not have shcematic and i checked it on traistar tester it pass that's mean u2 is ok and it charge too ,so i mad a jumber to point C12 (on phoneboard softwre) under Audio ic after that it is trying to boot but now it shows apple logo then black screen and stuck on 150 mha maybe the audio ic chip is bad i do not know and it's not charging any more it take about 0.212 mah when connected with charger .
please i need to know witch lines i must check .
i'v checked voltage on it 1.8v nand is there . note it is not getting in recovery mode from biginning that is why i did not do software .

So ,could you please 🙏, explain if you put new parts the whole felx with the 2 components you los face ID because there encrypted, but if you have no choice and have to change the flex an those 2 components, ever the speaker lets say,there no way to fix this phone and still gave face ID ? ,i almost forgot if the logic moard if damaged and needs replacement, there again you lose Face ID ?
You will lost Face ID function if you replace the prox sensor or whole flex. A company called JC they made programmable flex which can replace flex without losing Face ID

Do you have a video showing you diagnosing a motherboard? I've gone through all the flex cables and haven't found one that is causing the boot loop. The phone I believe was fully submerged in water
