Really great video. I ordered a replacement screen for an 8 plus and followed the video to a "T". If you take your time and don't over tighten the screws, you be fine. Use a hairdryer to soften the glue, use a razor blade to pry the screen from the frame to get started, then use the tools provided with the screen replacement to do the rest. You can do it!

Great demonstration. I’d like to add some cautious advice. Be careful when removing that earpiece/camera flex cable. On the left side, there seems to be some type of glue strip holding it together. Do not take the flex cable off without that little strip!!!! If you do, ear piece stops working. Don’t know why this is.
My screen just broke after not having it for very long. 🤧. I’m going to try replacing it myself. I appreciate the detail when making the change. Should make it easy to follow. Thank you.
I get that this is supposed to be an easy tutorial but you forgot to transfer the camera rubber holder thingy and the censor holder...also you didnt apply any display adhesive..other than that, great tutorial. Keep it up!
This one seems to be more like my phone on the inside than one of the other videos i saw. doing this but really slowly, also i need to get a stronger lamp, and maybe higher power magnification-otherwise its been okay so far... :) so i fixed my phone and it all went well, amazing....then after a few months i broke the screen again from a single drop! (its not like the old days with tough screens) At one point also Siri couldn't hear me and i think maybe the microphone was slightly out of alignment because i gave the phone a sideways thump and it fixed the issue. there are three microphones by the way.
super good video, thanks to you I could fix my phone. Just I asume you install the camera transparent plastic bracket as I did and all good!!! thanks again!!!
Thanks for the video. It would have been even better if you pointed out the different screws every time, along with what their head was and which one was longest. I got it all done, but somehow forgot the metal cover over the camera cable on the main side. I didn't see it on my tray, and must have been too excited trying to finish everything up. It went smoothly, except that my 3 pronged driver wasn't the best, and needed filing at one point, and then didn't get the very last screw out. But it got all the others back in, carefully.
Also, he’s just showing you.. never said it was a do it yourself kind of thing. There are people out there who are simply just curious about knowing this type of thing.

Hi - I am trying to replace a screen on a badly broken iphone for the sole purpose of getting the data off. So to make things go faster, I decided not to move the camera over to the new screen. I followed all of the rest of the instructions but the new screen doesn't work. It could be that the phone is just too badly broken but I'm wondering: does the camera cable have to be connected for the phone to function or should I just be able to leave it out?

I didn’t see it in the video but, doesn’t the new screen have adhesive that needs heated up before powering the device back on? Looks like you just pushed it back together without heat.
