    Hoestly this is the most helpful video I've had. I had so much trouble before seeing this. I didn't realize you couldn't get hay out of a loading wagon, or how to use a baler, or even where to take stuff to sell it because the map icons are so confusing sometimes.

    I started playing recently. I love random challenges, so I rolled for Erlengrat on medium difficulty (no starting farm). It's not been super easy, but I'm learning as I go along.

      If you are anything like me you will probably start over a few times. Since some things only become apparent with time in game. / You reckon you could've done This or That *Way* better.
      But, _Surprisingly_ stimulating to farm... (I clocked about 2k hours over the last two editions of FS.)
      Word to the wise: No Mans Land map. Utter freedom, complete control. Amazeballs. (But possibly not so much fun for a beginner...)

      I think I’m one of the very few Farm Sim players that doesn’t get on with NML. Can’t put my finger on it though.

      how do you buy land because I did the same stuff, medium difficulty, and it won't let me buy land.

    • @diewaarheid9431
      @diewaarheid9431 ปีที่แล้ว

      On NML? You just call up the map,then press X to enable the buy mode,click on the plot you want,and press Space to buy,hit Enter. Each plot is 85k though. So,it is While before you can own it all. But Soo worth it!
      Tip: Most of the YTbers always buy at the "actual" starting position. But I setup Right next to the store. Makes it easier with the slow tractors at the start. There is also a fair bit of level land around the shop.

      @@diewaarheid9431 I figured this out a bit ago but thanks, I'm on a controller and it didn't explain it too well how to do it in build mode.

    This would definitely work to keep the cows alive and producing, but they do take a hit to production if they're not getting the TMR. TMR isn't terribly complicated, and wouldn't take much more than what you start with. You just need to ferment some of the grass in the fermenting silo for silage and carve out an arable field to grow a crop that will give you straw. Silage + hay + straw = TMR. Just need a food mixer to make it. It's realistic to try and go for the TMR setup by year 2. I've never used that small baler that you have, but I like that the bales are liftable. That would make it real easy to just toss ingredients into the food mixer without needing a front loader.
    At that point you're better off overproducing the silage to sell rather than the hay also. Silage will net you 4-5x the amount per 1,000L that hay will and you already start out with the silage bunker to make it. Basically instead of the 700 per trip with hay that you mentioned with this particular equipment setup, you'd make near 3,000 per trip if it was silage.
    Just my 2 cents, great video though.

      Thanks. I’m not sure if on my original that I based this video off of play through the game might have glitched.
      It seemed to add the Grass and Hay together to make 100%. But I’ve done the same since this video and it hasn’t worked. Thanks for your comment. Hopefully will help some others

      Its more expensive but you could buy the straw. Or you could just use hay and silage because the straw is just filler and you can make tmr without it.

    You can use the thing that makes grass into hay at the same time as the mower, its much faster. Also you should keep the front loader for when you get into tmr.

    • @SimuDan
      @SimuDan  ปีที่แล้ว

      The hay is hand moveable and for silage you could use a conveyor to take silage straight out of the bunker into the mixer. Leave straw out of it, it’s filler and not required.
      Very helpful tip on using the mower and teddler at once though. Thanks.

    Change the trailer to a bale-trailer and keep the frontloader, so you can transport your big bales. Also sell the manure silo, you will not get any manure so why keep it.

    So my bf just started playing today and he started here on medium level , he's trying to get vehicles but can't seem to finfld the place you buy them even when you put the filter on. It's just not there & we're not sure how to really start😅 this has been the only close helpful video or walk through I could find if you have any advice!!

    • @SimuDan
      @SimuDan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you found this useful, or at least to some extent. Depending on the platform your bf plays on depends on the keybinds but you should be able to open up the store from anywhere.
      Check this link for the right keybind: guides.gamepressure.com/farming-simulator-22/guide.asp?ID=61874
      Once you buy equipment then you should be able to see the equipment appear on the map. But in any case you’ll find the store marked by a shopping basket, which is where you’ll need to head for anything purchased.
      Hopefully this helped. If you have anymore questions then don’t hesitate to ask.

    • @SimuDan

      Not a bad start. Sheep survive on grass alone, so a good choice on this map. Chickens are also an easy keep. Especially if you grow some cereal crop for them. Seeing as it doesn’t go off I tend to use my harvest on the animals all year, then sell the crop that wasn’t used the following.

    well reason no one like using front end loaders is cause every one suggest that new peeps use auto stackers and yet peeps like you say do progression well in real life you dont magiclly start with a auto loader you start with a front end loader attaches to a tractor or by useing hand tools like pich folks so you say you play simulation and progression but you want to start off with the advance stuff so you are contradicting your own saying by going advance right from the get go

    • @SimuDan
      @SimuDan  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment and feedback. I actually agree with everything you have said, and maybe should have said this in the video but, as much as I try to simulate everything as realistically as possible, I also want to have fun doing it. To balance fun and simulation I start with the smallest and cheapest bale loader
