Satan allows nothing. He is permitted by God to do what he does. He would do much more, since his purpose and desire is the destruction of mankind, but has only been allowed to push man to global war at specific times for God's purpose, not his own. It is Almighty God who allows what He allows, and it is not out of malice or a desire to punish, but rather for our learning and eventual salvation.
Satan's purpose in all of this is to bring about God's plan and purpose on a much shorter timeline while also enabling more people to be converted and transformed to be in His family. Satan chose rebellion against God, therefore deserving nothing but death, but he and the demons who followed his lead have a purpose to fulfill in God's plan before that judgment is executed upon them.

The big problem is that the referee wants to manipulate and direct the game to his own interests. We are returning to a critical point, of modern slavery, as in other civilizations. You're right in the sense that if the referee is corrupt that breaks the entire system, but that is true for every activity where you have a referee, and that's why it's important that the referee conducts it's judgement (like judges are supposed to do) in the public domain, so we can all judge for ourselves and make decisions and discuss if the refereee is correct and whether or not we need to replace them. It has it's downsides, but that's still better than not having any referee at all. Elon doesn't like government interference either, so if someone like him says it's probably necessary to at least have some oversight, we'd be wise to listen.
I disagree with the referee thing. Of course, referees have opinions, and even players or teams they might like more than others, but I think most referees do their best to remain neutral. They stick to written rules and call foul when a rule is violated. They don't write the rules.

This could only lead to one one probable outcome. Idolatry! Worship of a man made god made of the base materials the same as every other idol in time. Wood = carbon fibre and micro structures, stone = silicon micro structures, gold and other metals. Starts as a jinni in a box answering all your questions, then wishes, then guidance, then servitude, then domination. There needs to be stringent restrictions as to how far we go down this road. Using AI as a tool makes sense but as a personal tutor is a slippery slope. Leave it as a web search engine and base automation is the safest bet.

It’s great to see Sunak having an intelligent conversation with Elon. I can’t imagine Starmer being as capable; in fact he can’t as he has banned Elon from attending the next meeting. What a plonker.
Surprised? Starmer won't stand up well in any interview against someone like Elon Musk. He's scared of being shown up by anyone exhibiting any kind of intelligence or common sense, which is why he listens to and surrounds himself with people who have neither attributes.
He can't cope with criticism, can't cope in parliament, and certainly can't make a decent speech (if you think it was a slip of the tongue to say sausages instead of hostages, think again. Those two words are not that easy to confuse, slips are often just single letter confusions, and it is much more likely he was either thinking or referring to those hostages as sausages within his family or closest political circles.
It's like the slip of the tongue commonly associated with Jeremy Hunt. Noone confuses the word 'hunt' with the 'c' word unless they have done so before or were actively thinking in that direction when saying it.
I'm certain the BBC commentator who said that (and I did hear it at the time it was broadcast) did so through habit, especially given the nature of his childish giggles.

Starmer knows he cannot look good conversing on a subject with an expert in the field of AI. Let's be honest, he wouldn't look good conversing on any subject in any field one to that. He certainly hasn't demonstrated that he has much idea about how to do anything.
I don't have much time for Rishi Sunak, but at least he looks smart, sounds smart and does give the world an idea that we did have a leader with at least some intelligence. I think his problem was (much the same as other politicians) - too rich, too out of touch, a great mathematician and speaker, but not very empathic towards the poorer people of Britain who have only seen themselves slide further down the scale during this century).

That's how much further they've been ahead of us. And the likelihood they've not already developed A.I. is nearly zero. 12:00 "Work gives purpose". I understand what they are saying, but that just doesn't add up anymore. That used to be true in the age of early industrialization, where the possibilities seemed far-reaching. People were okay with busting the ass because there was a path to potentially go far. But that has vanished over the span of the past few decades. Most people are stuck in a job that they don't like, breaking their bodies while getting no satisfaction, barely anything in return. It doesn't get any better, it doesn't go anywhere. There is no sense of purpose in that.
In my opinion, humans are not meant to be cogs in a machine. We are explorers, artists, inventors, builders, caretakers. That is what being human is about. When "the workforce" is a thing of the past, I suspect that these roles will explode with the amount of people involved, because we actually enjoy doing that kind of stuff! It's fulfilling!

I worked in IT for many years, as a network engineer and security specialist. If someone asks what AI is, how much of the answer is opinion and how much is fact? We all know that AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, but does that mean a very advanced program, or does it mean artificial sentience? If we're talking about very advanced software, I don't know if I would call it AI. Is it actually intelligent, or is it just doing mathematical calculations to come up with the most likely solution from a large selection of options? If that's the case, it's still just software. It may be very good software, but it still fits the definition of a computer program. I think calling it AI might be a little premature. That's my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. I'd like to hear Elon Musk's definition of AI.

RE: Personal Tutor. While got nothing against that....... actually been very forward thinking on that for decades (Learning methodology based on how people actually learn, you could say is sorta my thing)
BUT..... life is about Balance. Social learning..... comfort in our own skin when around others.. learning the skills of positive interaction between other humans.... that still will ONLY reach practical actualization, if people. (youth particularly) are engaging face to face in group settings/activities both guided and NOT guided. Sport is one avenue but so are many others. We must (for youth in particular) keep face to face group time !!!!!
This is going to sound simple but..... For youth.. Physical Education is going to become of immense importance as individualized AI education grows more and more. Also Debate education and debate experiences will be of great value too.

They then go out and acquire the companies or individuals that do the actual designs and give them a free hand to just "do it"!!!
