I almost never comment but holy HELL!!!! I was using your 100% guide for Remake and saw you link to this vid. I crushed this on my second try by just pausing and following your own screen steps. I didnt even do it that well and when the final boss died I was SURPRISED!!! Holy hell dude this guide is incredible. literally just pause and read the steps and do ONLY THAT and you will clear. I beat this on my own way back when remake first came out and I platinum'd the game back then but this was so so so much easier. I am truly blown away about how much of a joke this fight was because of your guide...did forget to assess the boss though...damn lol

Absolute clutch guide! This guide should have way more views and be the top search result. I went for another guide initially with more views, big mistake. This was the best guide by far. Made a few mistakes, including accidentally getting Cloud and Tifa stomped by P&J and losing Cloud's first Thundaga, but I was able to clear the whole thing on my first attempt with your guide! Usually got creamed by Leviathan following other guides, so this was the first time I even beat Bahamut and faced P&J. Thank you so much!
Honestly, I used your exact build, and followed this guide for the first time, and I did it! Wasn’t quite as smooth as yours, aerith fell unconscious in fat chocobo fight, but it still worked fantastically. I can’t thank you enough, and look forward to using more of your guides!

AMAZING GUIDE! .... And here is why: It works for less skilled people who are not that good at the game and *gasp* look for guides to beat hard parts of the game. Beat this thing first try using this guide, and I even made a few slip ups here and there. The best part is this style of fighting works even when RNG doesnt favor you or you dont get every split second timing right. Many guides with 10x views are not nearly as good as this one, props to you sir!

This is the best guide for this gauntlet. The step-by-step construction got me through it all in 2 attempts (and the first attempt's big mistake was my fault). The toughest part was Leviathan because I always mess up the directions the characters are in when switching.
Took a few tries to get the timing down on Bahamut (and possibly needed to level up my MP up a bit) but finally got some success! ✊🏻 Thanks for helping me get my platinum.
Followed the guide perfectly and did it first time. Far superior to all other guides. Bahamut was a breeze having struggled with him for so long. Got a bit wayward with p&j but improvised and managed it. Thank you for putting in the effort to bring this to us 😊

Update: beat it with this method! Timing on Bahamut is rough and Ifrit even came out but I got it done. Thanks! I beat this a long time ago when the game first came out, but I’m replaying and wanted to beat it again. I stumbled upon your guide after struggling a bit and man, even with this method the first 3 fights are so easy but Bahamut is just annoying and I’m so frustrated. I must be messing up the timing with Tifa running because almost every time he ends up really close to the arcane ward and wrecks the whole party. Messing up a little on Leviathan is salvageable, but one screw up on Bahamut and it’s a restart. I honestly hate this fight lol

I can’t wait to keep going. Takes a little time to master but this is amazing work! Almost ready to give up on platinum until I found this. I had to pause to sit with my shock and awe when shiva went down so easily with my HP more than halved??? (I keep cloud at 9999). Jaw on the floor. Leviathan is trickier and keeps setting me back and I haven’t made it to bahubitch yet following this setup but I’m excited to get back at it with this. Thank you for the time and effort here.
Checking in 20 hours later Shiva ✅ pushover Fat chocobo ⚠️ not perfect yet because of the stupid summon. Blade burst doesn’t seem to kill the fireball guy Leviathan ❌ did this once by accident I’m sure - I can’t keep him from casting because I keep accidentally switching to Tifa Bahumut ❌❌ I didn’t stand a chance. Still at it😅

you are a legend sir. the levi fight was a little bit dicey but after 5 tries i figured it out. the bahamuth fight i f*ed up first time and he summoned ifrit which narrowly defeated me. pride&joy was a cakewalk with your strategy.

This guide was awesome. Using only one Magic Up, I had a couple close calls where damage wasn’t enough. Luckily panic spamming another -aga spell and a few more attacks from Tifa saved me. Thanks for this guide to help me win the craziest fight yet. Liked and subscribed
Well done! It's really hard to get the Pressured / Staggered status without enough DPS, and Magic Up plays a big part in that. So you did well my friend ;-)
thanks for the guide but the leviathan part didnt work well separating cloud n aerith, i was using another guide for that. just thundaga and focus strike on fin also did the trick. bahamut wasnt too smooth it managed to summon ifrit but with luck i was able to get pass it. i am glad this guide worked on the materia setup, shiva chocobo, and pride n joy.
Struggled for hours, finally cleared it thanks to you!! The bellow start is usually the best sign for leviathan, but bahamut is always a clencher especially cause I had to clear it with ifrit summoned (accidentally pushed it past 50% before second pressure) Pride and joy was the freest battle out of the 5 honestly, thanks for getting me out of my misery (was stuck for 2 hours)

So many guides out there that aren’t helpful. I’m not max SP at all and still haven’t even started hard mode but I wanted the item for my run to make it more fun my first time through hard lol
It's always fun to redo this challenge, I'm at 160+ Pride and Joy defeated on a single account, not counting the other ones and the share play I did for other players, so probably 200+ Top Secrets cleared haha. I just love it.
Damn bro bahamut ended up summoning ifrit and pride and joy took out aerith with little less than half health, but in the end, on first try.. Got it done. Fresh guide James 👌
You know I have been trying this for like 3 days watching guides trying different strategies and getting frustrated after each attempt, then I found your guide. Admittedly it still took four tries and I was getting even more frustrated seeing how simple this looked and finally told my friend I give up on this game and was going to delete it, I secretly tried one more time with this guide and got that win! @@JamesGuides only problem I have is steps on right side can disappear too fast or not exactly describe what happens on screen, also would be cool if you added some tips for situations where something gone wrong, like you did on last boss, what to do if tifa dies, what to do if cloud dies too, what to do if you miss something. But this guide helps me a lot, and sorry about negative commentary i add earlier and delete, shiva not worked 3 times in a row, i think because characters sometimes not throw firaga at her, i press firaga button, but something interrupt the animation. after going through shiva I managed to repeat your guide from 2nd attempt. So thank you a lot!

Going to echo the same as everyone here. Of all the guides found, this was the most effective despite the low HP numbers. Got it through a few tries. Bahamut is the biggest cockblocker because afterwards, the fight against Pride and Joy is a cakewalk. What a staggering difference.
You have the best guide for Leviathan. Thanks to you I can get through him without damage. But whatever I do, Bahamut is my nightmare. He does spinning attacks all the time and kill my characters right away 😢
Thanks for the guide man, really helped with the fight against Bahamut, had to make a change with adding MP absorption to Aerith as I felt that Synergy threw me off a bit But all in all, you showed the bes mehod to deal with Bahamut.
Are you on the Intergrade version (PS5 / PC), beacuse if you are, Synergy is totally OP there since the change. I mean it adds like 20% overall DPS to the whole team, it's crazy. If you're on PS4 though, it's a pretty useless materia. In any case, congrats on beating the hardest challenge in all FF7 Remake, and thanks for the nice comment. I'm currently playing it on the PS4 version I got a year back from PS+ on PS5 (via BC) , and plan to replay it when I get Intergrade later as I'd like to play the DLC, So that's the reason why Synergy wasn't as effective for me, well good to know it wasn't me who's doing it wrong. Cheers man 😁

This is the best guide for this gauntlet. The step-by-step construction got me through it all in 2 attempts (and the first attempt's big mistake was my fault). The toughest part was Leviathan because I always mess up the directions the characters are in when switching.

Took a few tries to get the timing down on Bahamut (and possibly needed to level up my MP up a bit) but finally got some success! ✊🏻

I have been stuck on this challenge since I got this game..... I was sooooo frustrated with how you needed a specific setup and how to try and stay on top of each boss. This guide....SAVED MY LIFE. I beat this a long time ago when the game first came out, but I’m replaying and wanted to beat it again. I stumbled upon your guide after struggling a bit and man, even with this method the first 3 fights are so easy but Bahamut is just annoying and I’m so frustrated. I must be messing up the timing with Tifa running because almost every time he ends up really close to the arcane ward and wrecks the whole party. Messing up a little on Leviathan is salvageable, but one screw up on Bahamut and it’s a restart. I honestly hate this fight lol
Bahamut is tricky indeed, but once you've perfect the way to do it you can reproduce it 10 out of 10.

I can’t wait to keep going. Takes a little time to master but this is amazing work! Almost ready to give up on platinum until I found this. I had to pause to sit with my shock and awe when shiva went down so easily with my HP more than halved??? (I keep cloud at 9999). Jaw on the floor. Leviathan is trickier and keeps setting me back and I haven’t made it to bahubitch yet following this setup but I’m excited to get back at it with this. Thank you for the time and effort here.

you are a legend sir. the levi fight was a little bit dicey but after 5 tries i figured it out. the bahamuth fight i f*ed up first time and he summoned ifrit which narrowly defeated me.

This guide was awesome. Using only one Magic Up, I had a couple close calls where damage wasn’t enough. Luckily panic spamming another -aga spell and a few more attacks from Tifa saved me. Thanks for this guide to help me win the craziest fight yet. Liked and subscribed
Well done! It's really hard to get the Pressured / Staggered status without enough DPS, and Magic Up plays a big part in that. So you did well my friend ;-)
thanks for the guide but the leviathan part didnt work well separating cloud n aerith, i was using another guide for that. just thundaga and focus strike on fin also did the trick. bahamut wasnt too smooth it managed to summon ifrit but with luck i was able to get pass it. i am glad this guide worked on the materia setup, shiva chocobo, and pride n joy.

The bellow start is usually the best sign for leviathan, but bahamut is always a clencher especially cause I had to clear it with ifrit summoned (accidentally pushed it past 50% before second pressure)
Pride and joy was the freest battle out of the 5 honestly, thanks for getting me out of my misery (was stuck for 2 hours)

Some of the purple materia wasn't at max level. I died at leviathan a few times and only died a bahmut once before i beat the challenge

I don’t normally do this but subbing off of this because of the quality and care you put into this guide. Very meticulous and it works! Thanks for the help and upload! So many guides out there that aren’t helpful. I’m not max SP at all and still haven’t even started hard mode but I wanted the item for my run to make it more fun my first time through hard lol

It's always fun to redo this challenge, I'm at 160+ Pride and Joy defeated on a single account, not counting the other ones and the share play I did for other players, so probably 200+ Top Secrets cleared haha. I just love it.
Damn bro bahamut ended up summoning ifrit and pride and joy took out aerith with little less than half health, but in the end, on first try.. Got it done. Fresh guide James 👌

You know I have been trying this for like 3 days watching guides trying different strategies and getting frustrated after each attempt, then I found your guide. Admittedly it still took four tries and I was getting even more frustrated seeing how simple this looked and finally told my friend I give up on this game and was going to delete it, I secretly tried one more time with this guide and got that win! @@JamesGuides only problem I have is steps on right side can disappear too fast or not exactly describe what happens on screen, also would be cool if you added some tips for situations where something gone wrong, like you did on last boss, what to do if tifa dies, what to do if cloud dies too, what to do if you miss something. But this guide helps me a lot, and sorry about negative commentary i add earlier and delete, shiva not worked 3 times in a row, i think because characters sometimes not throw firaga at her, i press firaga button, but something interrupt the animation. after going through shiva I managed to repeat your guide from 2nd attempt. So thank you a lot!

Going to echo the same as everyone here. Of all the guides found, this was the most effective despite the low HP numbers. Got it through a few tries. Bahamut is the biggest cockblocker because afterwards, the fight against Pride and Joy is a cakewalk. What a staggering difference.

Thanks for the guide man, really helped with the fight against Bahamut, had to make a change with adding MP absorption to Aerith as I felt that Synergy threw me off a bit
But all in all, you showed the bes mehod to deal with Bahamut.
Are you on the Intergrade version (PS5 / PC), beacuse if you are, Synergy is totally OP there since the change. I mean it adds like 20% overall DPS to the whole team, it's crazy.
If you're on PS4 though, it's a pretty useless materia. In any case, congrats on beating the hardest challenge in all FF7 Remake, and thanks for the nice comment. Please consider subscribing for more guides :)
I'm currently playing it on the PS4 version I got a year back from PS+ on PS5 (via BC) , and plan to replay it when I get Intergrade later as I'd like to play the DLC,
So that's the reason why Synergy wasn't as effective for me, well good to know it wasn't me who's doing it wrong.
