    ZigBee hub is included with Echo 4th Gen, and Echo Plus 2nd Gen. NB Both Echo 4th Gen and Echo Plus 2nd Gen have their own built-in temperature sensor

    Thank you a lot for the video. 2 questions. This sensor can connect with tuya hub (Zemismart)?
    And, I have a TH sensor by Zemismart but isn't available to use it as trigger on Alexa. Did you do some configuration? This sensor still works on Alexa as a trigger? Thanksssssssss

      I'm not convinced it can. I think it either needs the bridge or a zigbee capable device. I'm not sure though.

    i've just paired zigbee sonoff smart switch with echo 4. worked after few attempts.
    you dont need to download any apps, just pair it with echo.
    for me it power off, power on and quickly say to alexa discover new devices

    Is your snzb-02 temperature sensor getting connected without problems?
    Here it is not working. I add it directly to my Echo (4th gen) but after a few minutes it is unavailable and I need to remove and add again but it is only available for a few minutes.

      I had the same issue two moths ago. Then got it working for a couple of months, but this morning is offline.

    If you add this as a favourite on the app does the temperature appear on the homepage when you open the Alexa app?

    • @Inchkaka
      @Inchkaka  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On mine I have to tap on the sensor to see what the temperature is, so I'd say no!

    Are you able to create a routine if the temperature is above or below a certain range to trigger a smart home device?

      Yes definitely, that's what I use it for.

    Can I connect the humidity sensor directly to Alexa Echo 4th Gen without having to buy the sonoff bridge?

    • @Inchkaka
      @Inchkaka  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not sure if the 4th Gen comes with Zigbee built in. Worth googling, but one of the comments here suggests you can!

    Hey mate same question as vimal, can the temp sensor trigger a routine once a set temperature is reached?

    • @Inchkaka
      @Inchkaka  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It can. Mine turns a plug on if below, and turns off if it's above a temperature. It's done by a simple Echo Routine.

    (y) Interesting, liked the experience... but you lost half of the functionality. This is an T/H (temperature / humidity) sensor. And actually not bad. Pity their own hubs are low quality - but sensors are actually good.

    • @Inchkaka
      @Inchkaka  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're right, it only sends temperature to Alexa, not the humidity information.

    Your video is wrong. You have to connect the sensor to eWeLink app first before adding to alexa app.

    • @GroupNuzil
      @GroupNuzil 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not necessarily true - If you have an Echo that has a buil-in Zigbee Sensor, you can skip the eWelink app.

      This is for Echo devices with ZigBee built in. You don't need eWeLink for those as I mentioned :)
