Nova is also from Canada. She was rapping before Tom. Tom was a professional wrestler before he started rapping. They met when Nova decided to put on her own show because back then the male rappers didn’t take the women seriously. Tom was in Nova’s first show.
They didn’t get together right away. They both live in East Los Angeles now and have been in the USA for a little over 10 years.
Nova got a recording contract that she got trapped in. They tried to force her into being a pop artist. She is just now getting her first taste of freedom from that contract. I believe she is working on an independent album now. Hopefully we will start seeing some new music from her in the near future.
