We all know Tom can rap and lived through addictions.. we all know that Adam is street... but not many know that Nova is the gansta of the group!!! 2011 she was 15 and started making music when she was in a group home (so her lyrics were a true reflection). Mercury Records took notice of her, so she moved to New York and signed with them. The label would later become Island Records, and, in turn Def Jam. She was with them for 3 plus years and had been working on an album named Accidentally Gangster, which was cancelled. 2015, during her time with Def Jam, she began to break out into the mainstream with her single "Made in Gold", which reached the Top 20 on Sirius Top Hits. She's the real deal! Great reaction.
@allglorytojesus2023 I meant in 2011, she was 22/23, since that's what I was originally referring to from the OPs comment, saying she was like only a teenager in 2011.
I love watching someone experience Nova rapping for the first time! She is different then these current Industry female rappers! She doesn't rap about all the surface stuff. She relies on her skills! ❤️❤️
It's nice that Nova allowed Tom and Adam a part on her song. She straight crushed this one. My first car was an '88 Grand Am. I would cruise around the Westminister mall and then over to Arvada. Once the police would break that up we would roll up to Longmont cruise up and down 287 until about midnight. That was back in the '90's before the no cruising signs went up everywhere. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Nova killed the track 🔥and then she went and produced and edited the music video with Tom's sister Jenna as camera assistant, Nova has been mentoring Jenna for at least the previous 6 months. #HOG UK
Tom sister, Jenna actually filmed this one and Nova directed and edited. My first car was a 1980 Ford Fairmont. It had an inline 6 for an engine. I drove it for over 365k miles. It was rusted all to hell but that engine refused to die lol
Nova rapping-Your face!! 😂 Great reaction. This was definitely Nova’s kill. All of them were epic as usual, but Nova slayed. Oh lord, my first car was an AMC Gremlin! #HangoverGang 🔥🤘🏼❤️
Another top video from Nova which she says she's also proud of is - I Hate Hip Hop by Tom, to see her Rap with Tom on a music video, check out - No Good Bastards. To see some of Nova's Rap skills, check out young Nova - Problem (live version wearing flip flops) and Dear Nova. #HOG UK
First reaction channel I've ever followed. Why? Watching you get lost in the moment of the music is fucking beautiful. Its that raw human spirit moment without "ego" to go "omfg be cool, dont do that, wtf am i doing with my eyeball, is that a booger on my nostril?!". Love the confidence to just be real.❤
Nova is a beast!! Mine was the yellowbeast!! a gold 68 Buick century V8, with am radio 1 speaker in the dash and separate top and bottom seatbelt. Cruising up and down main street burning rubber making it jump. Car had way to much power for a kid lol.
My very first car was a 1982 Nissan Sentra, 4door. a faded light blue. I bought the car with my own money and my dad offered to pay for a new paintjob or the body work. It had some minor damage and dents. I chose the paint job. Candy Apple red and metalic. Dad taught me how to use bondo and how to wet-sand. She wasn't special, but she was mine. Her rims were clean, but if she needed any work, I broke out the chilton's guide and figured it out. I couldn't affort a mechanic so dad taught me how to handle it myself. If she could talk though, she'd sound a lot like Nova, except I was good with school. My crazy years didn't start till after I was 18. My 20's looked like this.
My first car, two tone Ford Escort Mk II with sun roof, very reliable. It's demise is memorable, it was parked up stationary when it got hit in a Police chase, concertinaed front and back and twisted, it took two weeks for the insurance to come around to write it off, then I wanted to move it to be picked up by tow truck, started first time, drove its twisted body a few hundred yards on three wheels to a back street, my first and most reliable car. #HOG UK
N-O-V-A !!!! OMFG.......Everybody heard a Nova, throwing shoulders outside Bodegas, Mr. buy me Coronas .... awesome! Plug for everything.... crazy, fun homage to the OG's.
ACal was fantastic and fire 🔥 Tom set the tone and of course Nova boxed this joint nicely. Her being sweet innocent looking use her feisty Canadian, Jamaica and NY vibes voice was the difference. 🔥🔥 Even Tom mentioned previously she is a better rapper. Was he wrong? Go figure. Nice reaction. 😂😂😂 Lol.
My first car I was able to really call my own and loved cruising in was a 1985 S-10 Blazer, 2 door, 5-spd, 4WD, set of Cragar rims, and had a nice CD deck with a pair of 15 inch Rockford Fosgate Punches on a 1500w amp in the back. Those 15’s would rattle your eyeballs when turned up.
I’ve been waiting for you to see this one!! 🏁🩷 And it’s like Christmas for us to see someone hear Nova when she rap raps! She is incredible. This song brought back so many memories..the speakers were priority numero uno! My first car that was a beater was a Mitsubishi Eclipse. I could never see out the back. The blind spots were insane!
Mine was a 1986 oldsmobile cutlass supreme. I remember the first thing we did was buy a better stereo, big box speakers and subs to put in the back from the pawn shop. Bought some better tires and was always looking to upgrade those rims. It didn't matter how broken up and beat the car was. It was all about the stereo system, speakers bumping, good tires and those rims. I was the first in my friend group to have a car. So it was always packed. I was always getting in trouble from my dad for having my younger teenage sisters in the car when I was a newbie driver. 🤣🤣 There were a lot of dirt roads in the area I grew up. I remember one time the gravel pulled me into the ditch. I had the car full of a couple of my sisters and friends and had to get pulled out of the ditch. My dad was so pissed. 🤣🤣 One of my favorite parts about having my first car was that I could easily drive to go see my friends that lived a few towns away that I hadn't seen in years since we moved. This song and video just have such a nostalgia vibe that I love. They all killed their verses but Nova just stole the show!!
Nova always kills it. She is a whole vibe and my daughter's favorite artist. I didn't have a car but always rode with my Girl Andrea in her suped up '95 dodge Daytona. We had that car bumping she was into the early 2000s hiphop and i was into the 90s metal and hiphop. When we pulled up you knew who it was.😂 Running those loser laps around town to all the meetup spots. From back woods parties to city house parties we were there. 2000-2004 was lit and i am always shocked we never ended up in a real bad situation. Now my kids laugh when i tell them they have no clue, especially my 15 year old son. thank goodness there was no insta back then😂😂
I love the retro energy, some of the shots reminded me of the Beastie Boys. And I always love Nova's direction. It's a great pleasure to see her in front of the lens too! She rocks it. I'm from a generation that's a few years older, but living in South City Saint Louis MO, I've seen all these pictures they are painting with their lyrics. Bravo, Joee! Great reaction video. Looking forward to more!
I had a silver 2-door '79 Buick Skylark that look exactly like a Chevy NOVA! My BF had a Nova & side by side you couldn't tell the difference between them. That car gave me my first taste of freedom & I loved that car! WOW, so many memories 💜
This is a throw back song from the beat to the 'fits to the lyrics describing each of their lives growing up. 😎 Nova slays her verse. She's not only got the lyrics and flow but the attitude as well. 🤘 Jenna, Tom's sister, shot this video. The first time she's shot a full video herself. ❤ Nova directed & edited it. For Nova, Hey, You and Wishing Well are her two middle fingers to Def Jam and a good place to start. 🤘😎🔥 #HangOverGang #ACAL #NovaRockafeller
The first car my waif and I had was a 1970 Ford Galaxy 500. The corners of the hood, at the windshield were all bent up from the hood going up while driving down the freeway. The battery was cracked so we had to jump start it every time we went anywhere. Driving across Nevada, heading to California for Christmas (1982 and the Mrs. was 6 months pregnant), we dropped the drivetrain in Lovelock NV. Spent three days scrounging auto scrap yards until we found the part we needed. Fixed it up headed on our way. Playing the 5¢ slots, we won enough to cover food and the part. Still had a bag with $12.35 in nickels once we were back on the road. I would not trade that bit of life’s absurdity for anything. We were invincible. #hangovergang forever 🤙🏽
Great reaction/video breakdown! Song/video🔥 All of them killed it. Especially, with the homage to the OG's, and the old school gritty rap / hip-hop and beats😁 But damn, Nova was in her bag eating on this one, also the fact that she directed and edited the vid too😳 She's a real one💯 (I see your new found level of respect for Nova after this one😁) This definitely brings back those old time memories😎. "Seat belts" 🤣😂🤣😂 Thanks! #HangOverGang #AdamCalhoun #NovaRockafeller
My first whip was a deep purple '95 Chevy Beretta. I bought it from an older cousin in '07. Good ol' times. I thought all the verses were good in their own right, but Nova definitely stole the show. That power stance while staring down the camera at the end of her verse was epic, as well. If you're looking for more Nova to react to, I would suggest "Hey You" or "Jesus on my Neck". Great reaction!
My son is fixing up my husbands 1985 Fiero he drove in high school and college handed down to him from his dad. It had sat for a decade and when they checked the cd slot, it was 50 cent. That’s now the cd they listen to when they work on it :) car needs work but got new tires for it before the windshield replaced :)
Im 49...my first car was 1980 Chevy Caprice Classic. Old school square body. We called it the "Black Bomber". My sister, our friend and I could ALL sit up front on the bench seat jamming out to cassettes in the player headed to an under 21 club outside Atlanta.
‘92 Chevy Cavalier…black, tinted windows, sun roof, back spoiler, loud speakers. Was drunk in the passenger side of my own car, cousin driving thought a guy with us had pulled a gun, went to pull off, dude grabbed back window to hang on and I heard it shatter. Had just gotten sunroof fixed from the previous weekend’s antics.
Nova is 🔥! First vehicle was a 70' Ford step side, dark green, standard, no power steering. But I had a CD player to attach to the tape deck!🤣 It got me where I needed and then some! 5 dollar gas lasted all week, and could push start if needed, and a CB radio to communicate! Good times!🤟
My first car was a white 89 Cadillac Brougham with red velvet interior. 19 1/2 feet fender to fender. It was a boat ⛵😂 I had the chrome spinners and I glued a figure of Elvis to the dash. We called it Elvis 😅❤
I was a little bit of all of them growing up. I skated, surfed and fought! I grew up with Run DMC, ICE T, NWA with 4 15's in the back of a voltzwagon bug. Love this call back!
You're a fun guy to watch react to Tom! Think this is the 4th reaction ive watched of yours, and each one made me feel like i was watching Tom sing it for the first time! Your reminiscing over your old car was the best!
My dad was a gear head: He built and he and my mom raced drag cars when I was young. So, my first car was a 71 Chevy Nova rust bucket that my dad threw a 350 in....and then he bought sheet metal and we built new fenders. I learned to do bondo and fiberglass and ALSO had to be able to do all my own maintenance (change my own oil, spark plugs, tires, and install my own stereo and speakers) BEFORE I was allowed to get my license (I am the oldest and a girl). He wanted me to also learn humility, so we NEVER painted it.....I rolled around town with a primer camo pattern on that beast, which would pass anything except a gas station. We used to get on the roof and wrestle, which would collapse the roof a bit....so we would get in and lay on the seats and push the roof back up with our feet! I had that car for two years, then bought a NICE classic Camaro with the money I saved from working.
Being from the UK, not sure if the model names were different, but my first car was in 1990 (A 1983 Ford Sierra). It was a nail, but had a massive speaker in the boot hooked up to the tape player, lol. Good times
I love your eyes got huge when Nova lit it up 😂❤😂 ... I had a 91 Toyota Cressida with automatic seat belts & windows lol bi baller shot caller over here 😂😂😂
had a buddy that introduced me to sound systems in-car. he had a 4 seater, but the back two seats were taken up by a speaker box holding one 24 inch woofer. lmfao it was obscene. you could feel him coming 2 blocks away. this song made me think of Tim, the guy with that car... shoutout to Tim. lol my first experience with heavy Bass moved my spleen about 2 inches to the left 🤣
My first car was a 77 Nova white with a black ragtop on ralley wheels. Had a Cewin Vega mids highs and kicker sub. Blasting Tupac and the Cronic album on a pioneer cd player. Always picking up friends up to know good. This song brought me back. Good reaction bro.
1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, cream colored pain with brown interior and a brown vinyl top. I put an amp and three 12” subs in the trunk and had to lock them with a chain and padlock the the chassis because they kept getting stolen! Of course it was decked out with No Fear stickers in the rear window as well! The windows rolled up but they didn’t seal and leaked like no other!! 😂😂
@joeesparks7 ...... Nova used to be signed with Def Jam. That look on your face was priceless when you heard the first bar from her. Side note, notice the Bulls hat on Adam. He's from Chicago.
Lol, I got the family Pinto station wagon in ‘79. Forest green with what was essentially wood grain contact paper on it. I did nothing to it because I thought it was so ugly it was cool. You don’t need to know what mischief happened in that car. Fun reaction! I’m happy you got to experience Nova in front of the camera. I’m sure others have given you the list to check out. Chill out for the weekend! #ACAL #HOG #NOVA
87 olds cutlass cierra. them wide 5 stars, POS you couldnt roll the windows up and the rims were chrome.. crushed velvet interior and subs in the trunk this was a nostalgia trip for sure.
This vibe took me back to when i 17 in 1984 with the 73 Datsun 210 driving the boombox 500 D batteries and 5 cardboard boxes in the back looking for a Breaking battle to pop lock some fool into submission.
A 1986 Mustang stick shift Fox Body with chrome rims, pop up or take out custom sunroof from Ziebart, pull out Pioneer stereo, it was red with black & silver awesome decals on both sides & black tinted windows that me and my friends installed on the windows. Loved that car..Wish I still had it today..Would’ve spent alot of money over the years refurbishing it. It would’ve been worth it though!!
I was lucky with my first "my car" .... it was what i call a "Frankenstang" ... it was a 66 mustang body , with a mach one rear end , and a 302 engine . No part of that makes sense . Put chrome on it with five star spinners , JL 12" in trunk . Kenwood cd player , and MB Quart two ways withs highs and mids .. a flowermaster exhaust system with turndows 2.5" ... it was so fresh . I sold to my nephew as i got older . He still has it
We all know Tom can rap and lived through addictions.. we all know that Adam is street... but not many know that Nova is the gansta of the group!!!
Nova and Tom are pure GOLD… anyone teaming up with them are GOLD PLUS DIAMONDS! Thanks for recognizing them. Kudos to you! ❤️🙏💯
In 2011 she would have been well over 15, she was 22/23 being that she was born in July of ‘88.
@allglorytojesus2023
I meant in 2011, she was 22/23, since that's what I was originally referring to from the OPs comment, saying she was like only a teenager in 2011.
Take this fake shit n' 🤘🏼 turn it into gold
I love watching someone experience Nova rapping for the first time! She is different then these current Industry female rappers! She doesn't rap about all the surface stuff. She relies on her skills! ❤️❤️
Nova killed this one.❤😊
“Hey You” is a really aggressive Nova track…she shot, edited and performed on her own.
“Hey You” is another one of my favorites from Nova. A good contrast is “Gang Gang” which is basically a love letter to Tom.
Nova " im a problem" early nova
@@Tate6475 yes, the flip flop version!
I like watching the shock on peoples faces when they find out Nova can not only rap but is excellent at it.
And by the way, what she's saying is truly her story.
Nova killed the track 🔥and then she went and produced and edited the music video with Tom's sister Jenna as camera assistant, Nova has been mentoring Jenna for at least the previous 6 months. #HOG UK
I see you have been introduced to our Queen, Nova. She is incredibly talented she does it ALL. Wait till you hear her sing, those pipes are great too.
Tom sister, Jenna actually filmed this one and Nova directed and edited.
My first car was a 1980 Ford Fairmont. It had an inline 6 for an engine. I drove it for over 365k miles. It was rusted all to hell but that engine refused to die lol
Did not know Nova was so great. Killed it!
Nova rapping-Your face!! 😂 Great reaction. This was definitely Nova’s kill. All of them were epic as usual, but Nova slayed. Oh lord, my first car was an AMC Gremlin! #HangoverGang 🔥🤘🏼❤️
Nova rockafeller killed it!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Nova is a freakin BEAST and she killed this joint

First reaction channel I've ever followed. Why? Watching you get lost in the moment of the music is fucking beautiful. Its that raw human spirit moment without "ego" to go "omfg be cool, dont do that, wtf am i doing with my eyeball, is that a booger on my nostril?!". Love the confidence to just be real.❤
Yes Joe E, been waiting for this...let's go 👊.
I love your appreciation of this song and your car story with your CD player seatbelted into the back seat. 🙂
My guy!!! You've got to look at Nova's stuff! She's a beast.
Nova is a beast!! Mine was the yellowbeast!! a gold 68 Buick century V8, with am radio 1 speaker in the dash and separate top and bottom seatbelt. Cruising up and down main street burning rubber making it jump. Car had way to much power for a kid lol.
Your reaction when Nova rapped made me smile. I so hope you get to interview her one day… I’ll be here for it all day!
I’m so happy you got to experience Nova!! This was my high school and early college life!! Brought me back!! #HOG
She shoots her own videos, too... So you can appreciate her from both sides of the lens at the same time.
Yup and her work on ‘Hey You’ is crazy good. Especially the splashing in of flashback cuts of her ‘old self’ was flawless.
This one was actually shot by Jenna Emilly MacDonald (Tom's sister) and Jenna's husband. But still directed and edited by Nova.
#HOG UK

Her verse on “No Good Bastards” was tough too. 👌

This whole song is my teenage years in the early 90s. This song is on steady rotation in the jeep
Great reaction/video breakdown! Song/video🔥 All of them killed it. Weeew. Nova nailed it!
Hard to not get caught up on Nova's verse. She owned this one.
It was so goos to see Nova getting back to her music. Nova killed this!
Yessssssss yuuuurrr! #hangovergang Forever 💕
MORE NOVA ❤!!!!!
NOVA KILLED IT , TOOK BEST VERSE !🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I had a little red Chevy Chevette with a sparkomatic speaker with a flimsy wire sitting on the emergency brake between the seats. NO CHROME THO😊
When nova hits a record it makes you fall more in love with her.
Yes, she'd that amazing!

This song screams Nostalgia. Nova's part took it hands down!! #HOG❤
They all were great on this, I related to all of them in some way but Nova ALWAYS brings it and takes the song when she raps!!! ❤❤❤❤
My dad was a gear head: He built and he and my mom raced drag cars when I was young.
Our town got bumper to bumper every weekend, back in the day. So much fun car hopping.
I’m alittle older mine was a 73 Chevy Nova hatchback. wish I still had it. Love the nostalgic of this song.
Being from the UK, not sure if the model names were different, but my first car was in 1990 (A 1983 Ford Sierra). It was a nail, but had a massive speaker in the boot hooked up to the tape player, lol. Good times
Yayyyyy….. I have been waiting for you to watch this.
I love your eyes got huge when Nova lit it up 😂❤😂 ... I had a 91 Toyota Cressida with automatic seat belts & windows lol bi baller shot caller over here 😂😂😂
Nova killed it! Cutlass Supreme
had a buddy that introduced me to sound systems in-car. he had a 4 seater, but the back two seats were taken up by a speaker box holding one 24 inch woofer. lmfao it was obscene. you could feel him coming 2 blocks away. this song made me think of Tim, the guy with that car... shoutout to Tim. lol my first experience with heavy Bass moved my spleen about 2 inches to the left 🤣
Tom even admits Nova slayed that verse❤ CHECK OUT WISHING WELL BY NOVA FOR SOME INSANE VIDEOGRAPHY
❤️ nova
My first car was a 77 Nova white with a black ragtop on ralley wheels. Had a Cewin Vega mids highs and kicker sub. Blasting Tupac and the Cronic album on a pioneer cd player. Always picking up friends up to know good. This song brought me back. Good reaction bro.
Toms sister shot this one. His family helps him with lots of things
Great reaction fam! Stay Blessed! HOG 4Life!
Nova is one BADASS chick! Love her!
@joeesparks7 ...... Nova used to be signed with Def Jam. That look on your face was priceless when you heard the first bar from her. Side note, notice the Bulls hat on Adam. He's from Chicago.
I had a 1984 Thunderbird!!! Road out in the winter, no heater with jackets, gloves, and a blanket!! Mine still had an 8 track player!!💥🤷🙏❤
Road out all weekend with 5$ in change for gas!! Try story!

Love your reactions #HOG ❤
Trip back in time.
#Hog4life this reminds me of being a teenager in the late 90s. Mine was a Bonneville lol. Gold one. Love this song. Nova killed it.
Snap!! I also had a Topaz!! Topaz in color... Two 15s in the trunk!! Loved it
87 olds cutlass cierra. them wide 5 stars, POS you couldnt roll the windows up and the rims were chrome.. crushed velvet interior and subs in the trunk this was a nostalgia trip for sure.
Love it! 1999 Land Rover Disco series I, with jump seats and brush Bar with rock sliders, super Dope! I miss the late 90’s/early 2000’s
It would’ve been worth it though!!
omg lmao love your reaction with Nova
I was lucky with my first "my car" .... it was what i call a "Frankenstang" ... it was a 66 mustang body , with a mach one rear end , and a 302 engine . No part of that makes sense . Put chrome on it with five star spinners , JL 12" in trunk . Kenwood cd player , and MB Quart two ways withs highs and mids .. a flowermaster exhaust system with turndows 2.5" ... it was so fresh . I sold to my nephew as i got older . He still has it
