Excellent video and great info, Tony here knows how to transfer his knowledge without "ummm this is camshaft and it moves sooner or later and umm yeah TiVCT rocks VTEC sucks"
I wouldn't even attempt to tune a Coyote or anything with VVT and more than one cam without the aid of a Dyno. I know a few that have tried and were not successful.
Had a Focus with that engine and it endured a lot of very, very spirited driving with no issues other than a water pump very early on, but it was under warranty and Ford had since fixed the flaw in that area and I don’t hear anything about it anymore, and it may have even been a recall. I never had that issue again. The twin clutch 6 speed automatic was garbage though. Lots of issues with the TCM and clutches.
Hello, I'm having this problem : th-cam.com/video/zu0ifTC6H2Q/w-d-xo.html I replaced the eccentric pulleys and solenoids. But I couldn't get rid of this sound. It is very loud when cold, but after 2 minutes the sound decreases but continues. It comes out softer. The car is running very well, there are no problems, but this noise at first start-up bothers me a lot. What exactly would you recommend to get rid of this noise? Thank you

1.1 Ti Vct good engine!?
Are these engines reliable ? Thanks in advance
My family has one that I beat the shit out of. For the past 65k miles the only issue I’ve had was the water pump started leaking.

Tivct is not Vtec !!!!!!!!
I have Tivct on my Caterham
Is good and fun tuning it on dyno
but not VTEC
VTEC is overrated
@@rickitysplitz7035it’s good for fun stuff but because it doesn’t activate until very high into the rev range it does get used much in normal use
