My favorite opera, my favorite tenor, my favorite soprano (and singer of all time for that matter, Dame Kiri)....I'm completely in heaven! I only wish the sound was better!
I was 5 years old when mom performed this at Paris Opera! Looking at it now, 30 years later, it still tugs at my heart, to see the exquisite nature of artistic reverence at its peak! I am eternally grateful to God for the experience and to you all for acknowledging such a beautiful craft in all of its splendor! Thank you for reminding me of why I have been so richly blessed and favored! :)
No no, my mother is Wilhelmenia Fernandez who portrayed Musetta. Although Kiri has a daughter roughly my age. I didn't pursue music, but financial markets! Yeah 2 completely different worlds! lol
