Caribbean Corn Pie (Eggless)//Sam's Gifted Hands

- Corn pie can be enjoyed as a side dish with your Sunday meal and eaten with salad. Some love their corn moist, dry, or in between. Always increase or decrease the recipe, and the cooking to your liking.
Recipe
2 tablespoons of butter
1/2 of a large onion
5 mini bell peppers
1/2 scotch bonnet pepper
Two cloves of garlic
1 medium-sized carrots
3 stalks of chive/green onion
1 tablespoon of flour with 1 tablespoon of water from whole corn mixed together.
1 14.75 oz tin of cream style corn
1 14.75 oz tin of whole corn
1 cup of evaporated milk (one tin can be used as well).
1 cup of corn meal (3/4 cups can be used as well)
1/2 cup of cheddar cheese ( more if you prefer)
1 cup of extra cheese for the top
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes, depending on your stove.
