Jordan never defended anyone that needed to be double-teamed. He use to tell people how much he was going to score on them.

Would love to see you guys react to Michael Jordan's trash talking stories. Just alot of greats getting upset by him on the court. Thanks for the content, keep it up.
Spud Webb and Dominique Wilkins were legit dunkers in the late 80s. And props to the old players, they jumped up to try and block. Hardly anyone today would! And plenty of folks could shoot, just not as many 3s were taken. It was more, take a 2 for the guaranteed points rather than miss a 3. Remember a lot of these guys only had the 3 point line when they got to the league!
The thing that amazes about MJ is yeah he has a 48” vert. But he also floated or hung in the air longer than everybody. Look at the shot over Ehlo they both jumped at the same time but Ehlo is going down and Jordan is hanging like he suspended in the air for a second or two before he comes down. So it looks like he out jumped Ehlo but he really didn’t he just stay up in the air longer!
Mj rookie year was better that 99-100 % of the league in there prime. Yall still believe LBJ better than him yall need to see a psych. Mj better than Lebron off the strength of his defense. I know this was a highlight reel, but Michael played like this for entire games. He never let down. He was total energy and strength. I am 74 years old. I’ve seen a lot of basketball in my lifetime. No one comes close to Michael. Kobe played a lot like Mike, but he still wasn’t quite as good. If you can find it, watch the clip where Carl Malone and Dennis Rodman get after each other. The physicality and defense was much better than today’s NBA, too. He would be my #2, after Michael.
MJ's 1987-1988 NBA Season Awards: MVP, All-Star, All-NBA First Team, All-NBA Defensive First Team, Steals Leader, Defensive Player of the Year, Slam Dunk Contest Champion, Scoring Champion, All-Star Game MVP. Lebron has never had a season like this.
Here’s the difference in Jordan and everyone else. ❤ he refused to lose. Never lost a final while guys tried to hurt him every game. No one close, no one. He never played on one of these super team with 3-5 of the best players in the league. 🐐
Michael Jordan played 15 seasons for the Bulls and Wizards. He averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.3 steals in 1,072 regular-season games. He was selected to play in 14 All-Star games. He won the Rookie of the Year award, 1 Defensive Player of the Year award, 5 MVP awards, 6 Finals MVP awards and 6 NBA championships in 6 appearances.
Small feet (US13) for mobility, In the top 10 hand sizes of all time, 2.1m wingspan on a 6.6ft frame, combined with a 48" vertical and passion for the game equal to no other.... You know that pick up line you say to girls like "you're so perfect that God broke the mold after he created you" (cheesy i know).... But i think this applies to Jordan as a basketball player 😁
There are so many more highlights. There is no one video that can cover all of them. When Jordan played, you weren't watching a game, you were watching an event. Jordan would eat today's players alive, LeBron included.
Best thing about living in Indy as a kid was being able to go to a random Pacers game that turned into Jordan's comeback game. There was a special energy in the arena that night even though it was a road game for The Bulls.
Dope reaction. It’s good to see dudes that know ball and know that when comparing players in different eras the only way is to imagine them playing in the same era.
Had a lot of great defenders in the league at the time that went up against him. Thought they could lock him up for sure and failed. John Stark, Clyde, Reggie. A lot of players feared him for real. Knew he was coming to show out and put you on posters. He literally went after you if you were a big center, especially if your name was called as being a dominant center in the league at the time. He went after Shaq a time and Shaq gave him a hard foul because he knew he didn't want to be on a poster forever.
Glad you brought that up. Jordan was checked by some of the greatest perimeter defenders all-time (Moncrief, Alvin Robertson, Rodman, Michael Cooper, Payton, Dennis Johnson, Dumars and Pippen-in practice). Check any top 10 list and these cats are definitely on it! And let's not forget. When Jordan got past them perimeter pitbulls he had to contend with some of the greatest rim protectors the Association has ever witnessed (Hakeem, David Robinson, Mourning, Mutombo, Eaton, Ewing, Parish, Tree Rollins). The lockdown perimeter defender and rim protector is as extinct as Wooly's mammoth tusks. With today's soft as Monistat ointment defenders Jordan would average 40 ppg after three quarters.
What's amazing is he shoots over 50% from mid range, this is why you see him just blow by people and pump fakes everybody. With his quickness and athleticism, it's impossible to guard him when he can shoot the mid range jumper at such a high percentage.
I'm from Chicago, and watched MJ 's entire Bulls Career. We would pack the stands to see what he would do next because you knew it would be something special! **Brother on the left can talk!😂
Did this man just say he could average 35? Bro Harden averaged 35. MJ Averaged 37 in a league that was much tougher. This man could legitimately average between 45-50 in todays age and thats not hyperbole.
He could average 35. Sorry, still laughing. He would average between 40-50. Look up all the NBA players talking about it. Jordan hardly even used the 3pt back then (side note: later in his career his average from the 3 skyrocketed) He'd add that to this game and imagine how often he'd go the free point line today. Seriously. Back then, it was high contact, not like today. He had it ALL. MVP defence AND offence most steals, and I think it was the most blocks, in the SAME season. Think on that. And his fitness coach actually says he was doing 50-inch verticals, but it was never made official. Only official recording was 48. He simply had it all. EXCEPT, he was a bad dude. Scary. Some might argue he was too aggressive and would make everything personal. For example. If LeBron and he were in the same league today, and LeBron said ANYTHING that MJ could take personal.... Just... I mean... LeBron is great, awesome, but as big as he is, MJ would absolutely do anything within his skill set, to destroy the man. Remember, as Shaq said, MJ was scary. The only player he was scared to play against.
@RealTalkTv Reactions No, my young brothas, he was NOT the "only one" jumpin' like that in his era. There were a PLETHORA of highflyers from the mid 80s thu the 90s, who'd REGULARLY posterize guys in this fashion. Y'all seriously gotta get out of this mindset that he was the "only one". But I know why SO MANY from your generation think like his. And it's because seeing prime MJ, somewhat bruises y'all ego. By that I mean, it almost hurts y'all pride to see someone NOT of your era doing things like this, because y'all SO BADLY want to believe that only players from your era are capable of this level of insane, freakish, athletic prowess. It's hard for y'all to acknowledge that MANY of these past players that y'all automatically assume weren't all that good/athletic, just might have been better and more athletic than y'all want to give them credit for. I saw MJ's prime years (mid 80s). And yes, he REALLY was scary; he really was just that great, albeit if we're talkin' skill level or athleticism....
What people often overlook is how good MJ was at getting free and in a position to take great shots. His movement without the ball was so good, even though he didn't need to run around like crazy. His screen usage was also incredible, often losing his man on a single move utilizing a post screen.
Jordan averaged 40 for the entire playoff series 6 times in his era. He average 50 in this era. No hand check, empty paint, more fouls. Add to that his defense 100 block and 200 steal a year, put guys on lockdown, guy like Dumars, Patton, and Drexler. He would have had a longer career today cause they beat him up back then. Best record...Only. 5 people in NBA history have won the championship and the scoring title in the same year...Fulks 47'...mikan 49' to 50'... Abdul-Jabbar 71' and O'Neil 00'....Jordan 91' 92', 93', 96', 97', 98'... He did it every championship and more that the rest combined. And he player every game like that, this mixtape could be days long. Even when he was kick your teams were ass( from Michigan believe me I know) it was worth it to watch. Like Barry Sanders.
And what ya'll have to remember, is that the game back then was more physical. Only because the centers back then, not all but most got paid for being a physical body in the paint. To keep everyone else out of the paint. And scoring easy buckets. But in today's game, not to knock anyone. But the centers have better jump shots. And play outside instead of inside the paint which makes it easier to score. But if you notice, Jordan is in the paint when centers were paid to keep people out of the paint. And these are 7 footers, and multiple people he's dunking on. He has the highest vertical jump in NBA history with a 48 vertical jump, and averaged 30 points a game dealing with that physicality. He would have easily averaged 50 points in today's game .
Jordan is and will always be the Goat. He would average at least 45 to 50 points per game if he would played in the NBA now. The most important, feared and respected player of all time.
Go watch “Jordan vs Lebron: the best GOAT comparison” and cry for a week. MJ the GOAT by a mile, you can all discuss second place but whoever is second is nowhere close
Glad to see young guys take into account how the paint was always packed as opposed to today's spaced out game. He would have a field day getting to the basket. And also no hand checking today. His avg would have to be higher.
What’s funny about this reaction is you all think Jordan would put up an easy 40 on Lebron but YOU CANT SAY IT cuz y’all are bronsexuals 😂😂😂 I know for a fact this video changed your whole perspective
Jordan would average more points now than he did in his day. He'd be averaging 20 points a game on free throws alone. Oh, and remove the tragic murder of his father, and Jordan would have EIGHT rings. I have ZERO doubt about that belief. He played baseball during arguably his 2 most athletic years?!?! And bookended that madness with 2 3 peats. Just ridiculous!
When you say “double team him” the reason teams didn’t do that the whole game was because it didn’t work. MJ was an elite passer when he wanted to be as you can see. And not just that…. MJ said out of his own mouth that the reason he perfected the fadeaway from both sides, at any spot on the floor, was because teams kept throwing double teams at him. So what he would do is get the ball in the post. Wait till he’s saw which side the double team was coming from, then he would fadeaway to the opposite direction. And if you look for that in his footage, you can see it
I've seen so many plays where Jordan turns a double team into his advantage. As the double approaches, he spins off his man to the opposite side of where the 2nd defender is coming from, leaving both of them in the dust. The timing of his moves, using secondary defenders momentum against them was brilliant. And the footwork, wtf? It's perfect. As you said, he could also elevate and fade over both of them. Doubling MJ seemed like a solid gameplan, but consistently failed like everything else. Gameplans didn't work. Imo the only thing that bothered Jordan in the slightest was otherworldly on ball perimeter defenders, the likes of which we've rarely seen. Dumars, Payton. In Today's game, maybe only prime Kawhi. The version of MJ that young Rodman tried to defend, was so unstoppable that even a max effort defensive freak such as himself, looked like little more than a cheap thug. Jordan did that to a man that cared so much about D that he bawled his eyes out when he won his DPOYs.... sorry for the rant.
No other SG was like MJ, imagine D Wade lvl shasher, but 6'6 with big hands, higher vertical and better finishing ability, better defensively and add on that Kobe's footwork, insane post up game and Mid range shooting efficiency over 50% on high volume and you get MJ.
As soon as the middle dude grabs his phone to search for who had the highest vertical in NBA history, right in the middle of CRAZY highlights... I was OUT. It's a REACTION video... you can check that sh*t out AFTER you WATCH and REACT!
The thing that separated MJ was that he had no weakness. You had to honor every fake, every pump, every misdirect ... because he was able to score at will from anywhere, anytime. Many players you can (somewhat) anticipate, or at least narrow down the probability of what they're going to do next, so you can anticipate it. For example: some players may not be very good at finishing with the left hand. Some players might struggle driving around screens from a certain direction. Others might be limited in their post abilities. Jordan had no weakness. You had no idea what he would do next, so you had to honor every fake because he just might embarrass you if you don't respect how dangerous he was from anywhere.
They amazed never seen nothing like this then say lebron better, better at what passing? Other then that he ain’t better, mj plays better defense more of a hustler on defense, better midrange, and better in the clutch
Just cause Bron averages more assists doesn't mean he's better at passing. Bron ain't cooking perimeter defenders and getting into interior of defense, setting up bigs with layups and dunks like Jordan. Bron backs his smaller defender down, waits for double and kicks out to perimeter shooters. The only thing Bron does better than Mike is flop and devise super-teams.
Thinking someone could guard Michael Jordan is like thinking there was someone Deion Sanders couldn't cover or someone Greg Maddux couldn't strike out.

He leans when he dunks because it looks like a superhero flying. You can see the bottom of his feet when he does certain dunks. Larry Bird said that its god disguised as michael Jordan.
Jordan never defended anyone that needed to be double-teamed. He use to tell people how much he was going to score on them.
MJ don't practice his moves.....he makes his moves based on defense.
I was 7 when I started watching the NBA! Everyone was waiting for him to turn on their televisions ... Kobe Bryant was the closest to his style of play. MJ is the king of basketball! Greetings from Poland...
Mj was a better versatile scorer hand down better shot creator the list goes on. Oh 9 or ten scoring titles. MJ da 🐐.
Jordan worked so hard on the offensive end the difference is he didn't rest on defense..So if you're the best offensive player the best defensive player who's better than him again??
Ikr. That's what I try to get the Bron fans to understand. Mike literally had zero weaknesses in his game...I mean zero. Aint nobody fckn with the perfect player.
You guys should check out "Michael Jordan rare footage (voyager)". This video is better than the one you'd watched.
The reel by voyager is even better. Shows more of his well rounded game.
Prime Jordan vs anyone on the court is like a real life slasher film. We'd love to see the game, none of us wanna get beat like that.
Yes , MJ is GOAT 你們應該看更多他的比賽🥰
Dope reaction. It’s good to see dudes that know ball and know that when comparing players in different eras the only way is to imagine them playing in the same era.
There’s stories MJ walked into opponents locker rooms telling them how much he was dropping
@@katrinachavez3533great comment
What's amazing is he shoots over 50% from mid range, this is why you see him just blow by people and pump fakes everybody. With his quickness and athleticism, it's impossible to guard him when he can shoot the mid range jumper at such a high percentage.
I'm from Chicago, and watched MJ 's entire Bulls Career. We would pack the stands to see what he would do next because you knew it would be something special! **Brother on the left can talk!😂
Did this man just say he could average 35? Bro Harden averaged 35. MJ Averaged 37 in a league that was much tougher. This man could legitimately average between 45-50 in todays age and thats not hyperbole.
you should react to Michael Jordan Defensive Highlights
Not only was he doing this crazy stuff on offense, but he was doing it on defense too.
He was dominating whole games.
Nobody in the history of sports has a better highlight wheel than MJ
Kobe wasn’t dunking on cats like MJ…not even close
In the 90s we watched Basketball on TV all together in Germany. When MJ was gone we just stoped watching Basketball in Germany. Thats it.
MJ MJ all the way no one can be compare! MJ the best of the best
@RealTalkTv Reactions
No, my young brothas, he was NOT the "only one" jumpin' like that in his era.
He Dominated an era of nba LEGENDS. DUDE WAS THE TRUTH
Micheal Jordan best defensive guard ever.
He wasn't the only one jumping like that. Dominique Wilkins was as well.
What people often overlook is how good MJ was at getting free and in a position to take great shots. His movement without the ball was so good, even though he didn't need to run around like crazy. His screen usage was also incredible, often losing his man on a single move utilizing a post screen.
MJ is the GOAT!!
Funny thing is these are just highlights but every game Jordan played was a highlight fr fr
The size of his hands was his most underrated gift
“How do you game plan for this guy?”
“Tackle him” - Detroit
Check out Jordan's voyager part 1 rare video where you will see some different never before seen highlights like him smashing a backboard.
Imagine you put prime MJ on the Warriors today they would be unstoppable no if ands or buts
Bro I love this reaction video, tbh this is the best one I've seen of Jordan..
mjs skill set is still comparable till todays nba.. thats how advance he is.. he is the blueprint of NBA players until today
Jordan is and will always be the Goat. He would average at least 45 to 50 points per game if he would played in the NBA now. The most important, feared and respected player of all time.
It was fear of MJ could he would drag you up and down that court like a kid in front of millions of people…EVERY NIGHT.
"These are highlights" and they happened in EVERY game.
Go watch “Jordan vs Lebron: the best GOAT comparison” and cry for a week.
MJ the GOAT by a mile, you can all discuss second place but whoever is second is nowhere close
We witnessed this every single night!!!
Glad to see young guys take into account how the paint was always packed as opposed to today's spaced out game. He would have a field day getting to the basket. And also no hand checking today. His avg would have to be higher.
Yeah, i was watching some of today's highlight and like, the paint can be a dog park with how open it looked.
You really can't experience it unless she was around thirty five years ago to watch his career legendary status michael jordan
What’s funny about this reaction is you all think Jordan would put up an easy 40 on Lebron but YOU CANT SAY IT cuz y’all are bronsexuals 😂😂😂
I know for a fact this video changed your whole perspective
Bron is an all time great but Jordan was an alien. No disrespect to Bron.
Jordan mentored Kobe and taught him a lot. They were great friends.
you all miss half the video with all the talking lol. pause it fellas and discuss. i love your excitement
Are you crazy that first dunk was from the free throw line
Jordan is the goat hands down bro. Y’all watching highlights just imagine in person and he has the accolades
Players in jordan era are tough as shit....
That was the last era of street kids entering the league. Now its coddled AAU factory kids and nepo babies.
When Jordan Played for the Wizards he dropped 40 on KG & Ron Aretest. Watch Michael Jordan the Encore
Meet the G. O. A. T of all G. O. A. Ts.
No other SG was like MJ, imagine D Wade lvl shasher, but 6'6 with big hands, higher vertical and better finishing ability, better defensively and add on that Kobe's footwork, insane post up game and Mid range shooting efficiency over 50% on high volume and you get MJ.
“Hey woulda averaged 35” the dude averaged 37 one season cmon now
As soon as the middle dude grabs his phone to search for who had the highest vertical in NBA history, right in the middle of CRAZY highlights... I was OUT. It's a REACTION video... you can check that sh*t out AFTER you WATCH and REACT!
Great reaction, right up until 18:51. 🤣
How can u watch this video and think lebron is better 😂 homeboy talkin out his ass
Absolutely. "LeBron is the best ever, obviously". Jesus, how can he be so blind?...
You had no idea what he would do next,
so you had to honor every fake because he just might embarrass you if you don't respect how dangerous he was from anywhere.
Look at the people who came to see Michael Jordan played basketball and live to see it
In a class of his own, MJ all the way,
Thinking someone could guard Michael Jordan is like thinking there was someone Deion Sanders couldn't cover or someone Greg Maddux couldn't strike out.
They didn't notice the edit he passed to himself 😭
