Then Jesus telling you how much he loved the people in a certain church that came out of drugs, and rough times in their lives. I'm 27 now and at the age of 18 i had a supernatural profound experience with the Father and Jesus Christ in Spirit in my truck while I was driving lol long story short I never asked or deserved what he did for me that day I could go into details but love to hear from you first. I kind of thought the same thing about the lord having his favorite people to visit such as the convicts and so forth. When I was living in Phoenix Arizona there was a place called The Phoenix Dream Center where this place is an actual ministry. They take in people who have had it rough, mostly from the streets and have an actual program they go through and graduate from after being there for so long. Very hard to keep my composure during service, the pastor, "Pastor Walt" would have an old saying during service, it goes something like, "Let God be God". One of my favorite places to go. At the time I was mingling between other churches, some I had bad experiences in but looking back now shouldn't be to judgmental about it. Good times!
John, thank you for your testimony. I have prayed and asked the Lord to conform me into the image of Christ for a long time. When I heard you describe how Jesus' eyes "flared" or "blazed" when he was talking to you, inferring that he may have lost patience with you, I thought to myself, ""Well, that wasn't very Christ-like." Then I started thinking, "Do we know what being 'Christ-like' is really about?" In other words, have Christians painted an unrealistic picture of what it is to be conformed into the image of Christ? I'd love to get your thoughts on this. Thank you and blessings to you.
Hi Angelwings, thanks for your thoughts and question. Like I said, He is a Man, so when anger is justified, He gets angry, so that is normal. Nothing more, nothing less. In Mark 3: 1-6 He was teaching and asked simple question; Is it right to do good on the Sabbath? When they refused to answer it says He was grieved because of the hardness of their hearts, looking at them in anger. That is normal, human, and justified - when people know better but refuse to do it. And that was the situation in the conversation I very much compressed for time. He had given me chapters and verses, and I was just going for every angle and every argument I could think of that someone might toss at me about the angels of the 7 churches....so He was justified. Of greater note, the real take away I intended, is that He quickly responded to my 'Sorry Lord' with, 'It's okay' and went back to teaching. What some make a huge deal about, He quickly dismissed with my 'Sorry Lord'. But to a degree you are absolutely correct, for I John 3:2 says: Now are we the sons of God, but it isn't revealed yet what we will be, for then we will see Him as He is. There is coming a time when we are out of our earth bodies, which would be destroyed at the unmasked glory of the Father and Lord, that we in glorified bodies will be able to see Father and Son in full glory- as He is unburdened with the need to 'tone it down' for us in our human bodies. That said, when we are in the Spirit as John was in Revelation 1: 10- end, we get a glimpse. Another way to look at it is from the Chronicles of Narnia with the kids talking about Aslan: "After all, he's not a tame lion." "No, but he is good." Thanks, John
@@CWOWI Thank you, John for your response. If I may share a recurring experience with you and get your insight on it. I had been praying and telling the Lord how much I wanted to see Him and asking for him to reveal Himself to me. That hasn't happened, but what did happen is about a year or so ago when I would begin to pray and worship the Lord, a wispy, white cloud would form on the ceiling above my bed where I was praying. Sometimes it would dissipate, but then re-form a few minutes later. At first it scared me because I didn't know what or of what spirit it was. My first inclination was to rebuke in Jesus' name, but that had absolutely no affect. Then the scripture came to mind about how the Lord appeared to the Israelites in the desert during the exodus as a cloud. So I asked the Lord to confirm to me that this was His presence that has come to me in the form of a cloud. I can only conclude that since the cloud forms only when I pray and worship Jesus Christ, that it must be the presence of the Lord. Your thoughts?
@@angelrose2200 thanks again. My initial response is to tell people to stop praying that, because by the very boldness of the prayer, they indicate they would or are already, idolizing an experience. If it happened then they would make it more than they should. My intention next week is to talk about a proper mindset and heart in the matter, so stay tuned. That said, your spirit man has the same senses as your physical man, in fact the physical senses proceed from the spirit man's senses. Very often when someone's eyes are opened to His realm - meaning they can see in the natural and spiritual at the same time, the way I describe and seen in II Kings 6: 15-17 - they sense a cloud or wispy outline of an angel, etc. That may be what you are experiencing, but I don't know...I do know the Lord is peace, and that He moves from the vague to the specific, as also per Hebrews 5:14 - strong meat is for those who have trained their senses to discern between good and evil. It is a process, a learning as you go thing in the realm of the Lord. We are told in the Bible that whilst on earth Jesus’ appearance was ordinary, he didn’t stand out. Yet we sing hymns of Him being beautiful. Obviously His glorified body is perfect, except for His scars, does that mean His appearance was the same? Did you notice this? When He appeared to me in the funeral home, with my wife when I was saying goodbye to her and the beautiful peace came that He gave me, I could not see His face. There was so much joy, the shock of His and her presence took my breath away and the fact that extreme grief turned to pure joy and bliss, it was only later I thought about noticing Him more! Does this question make sense?
Hi Ken - I think I sort of understand your comment and question. When the songs/hymns speak of His beauty, it has nothing to do with physical appearance, rather the beauty of His presence and being. He is very plain, very ordinary, very normal in appearance, even glorified. Not homely, just average.The closest rendition I've seen is the reverse image of the Shroud of Turin. Except His face is thinner, longer, more weathered, flatter nose, but basically Him, perhaps, perhaps, at the point between death and resurrection transformation. The beauty comes in His presence, in His eyes, in His very being, which is love, peace, and joy. A Christian who has died is spirit and soul in heaven. We await the glorification or as Paul said in Romans 8, the redemption of our bodies. A person's spirit and soul are in appearance the real us, and as such we are timeless. So a person in heaven looks to be in their early 30's, for the spirit man never ages past becoming adult. Even those who died while old on earth, in heaven look young, yet you can tell they are older...hard to explain because there isn't anything like it on earth to compare it to. But you can see all the Lord imparted to them if they walked with Him for decades on earth before dying while old. All that earth and gravity and the world added are gone, only what is in Christ remains in a person's face and being. If you watched the last 2-3 weeks videos I touch on some of this...hope this helps, John

I just wanted to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart I can relate in Spirit and in truth with you. I'm 27 now and at the age of 18 i had a supernatural profound experience with the Father and Jesus Christ in Spirit in my truck while I was driving lol long story short I never asked or deserved what he did for me that day I could go into details but love to hear from you first. I kind of thought the same thing about the lord having his favorite people to visit such as the convicts and so forth. When I was living in Phoenix Arizona there was a place called The Phoenix Dream Center where this place is an actual ministry. They take in people who have had it rough, mostly from the streets and have an actual program they go through and graduate from after being there for so long. Very hard to keep my composure during service, the pastor, "Pastor Walt" would have an old saying during service, it goes something like, "Let God be God". One of my favorite places to go. At the time I was mingling between other churches, some I had bad experiences in but looking back now shouldn't be to judgmental about it. Good times!
John, thank you for your testimony. I have prayed and asked the Lord to conform me into the image of Christ for a long time. When I heard you describe how Jesus' eyes "flared" or "blazed" when he was talking to you, inferring that he may have lost patience with you, I thought to myself, ""Well, that wasn't very Christ-like." Then I started thinking, "Do we know what being 'Christ-like' is really about?" In other words, have Christians painted an unrealistic picture of what it is to be conformed into the image of Christ? I'd love to get your thoughts on this. Thank you and blessings to you.
Hi Angelwings, thanks for your thoughts and question. Like I said, He is a Man, so when anger is justified, He gets angry, so that is normal. Nothing more, nothing less. In Mark 3: 1-6 He was teaching and asked simple question; Is it right to do good on the Sabbath?
When they refused to answer it says He was grieved because of the hardness of their hearts, looking at them in anger. That is normal, human, and justified - when people know better but refuse to do it. And that was the situation in the conversation I very much compressed for time. He had given me chapters and verses, and I was just going for every angle and every argument I could think of that someone might toss at me about the angels of the 7 churches....so He was justified.
Of greater note, the real take away I intended, is that He quickly responded to my 'Sorry Lord' with, 'It's okay' and went back to teaching. What some make a huge deal about, He quickly dismissed with my 'Sorry Lord'.
But to a degree you are absolutely correct, for I John 3:2 says: Now are we the sons of God, but it isn't revealed yet what we will be, for then we will see Him as He is.
There is coming a time when we are out of our earth bodies, which would be destroyed at the unmasked glory of the Father and Lord, that we in glorified bodies will be able to see Father and Son in full glory- as He is unburdened with the need to 'tone it down' for us in our human bodies.
That said, when we are in the Spirit as John was in Revelation 1: 10- end, we get a glimpse.
Another way to look at it is from the Chronicles of Narnia with the kids talking about Aslan: "After all, he's not a tame lion." "No, but he is good."

@@CWOWI Thank you, John for your response. If I may share a recurring experience with you and get your insight on it.
I had been praying and telling the Lord how much I wanted to see Him and asking for him to reveal Himself to me. That hasn't happened, but what did happen is about a year or so ago when I would begin to pray and worship the Lord, a wispy, white cloud would form on the ceiling above my bed where I was praying. Sometimes it would dissipate, but then re-form a few minutes later. At first it scared me because I didn't know what or of what spirit it was. My first inclination was to rebuke in Jesus' name, but that had absolutely no affect. Then the scripture came to mind about how the Lord appeared to the Israelites in the desert during the exodus as a cloud.
So I asked the Lord to confirm to me that this was His presence that has come to me in the form of a cloud. I can only conclude that since the cloud forms only when I pray and worship Jesus Christ, that it must be the presence of the Lord.

@@angelrose2200 thanks again. My initial response is to tell people to stop praying that, because by the very boldness of the prayer, they indicate they would or are already, idolizing an experience. If it happened then they would make it more than they should. My intention next week is to talk about a proper mindset and heart in the matter, so stay tuned.
That said, your spirit man has the same senses as your physical man, in fact the physical senses proceed from the spirit man's senses.
Very often when someone's eyes are opened to His realm - meaning they can see in the natural and spiritual at the same time, the way I describe and seen in II Kings 6: 15-17 - they sense a cloud or wispy outline of an angel, etc.
That may be what you are experiencing, but I don't know...I do know the Lord is peace, and that He moves from the vague to the specific, as also per Hebrews 5:14 - strong meat is for those who have trained their senses to discern between good and evil.

We are told in the Bible that whilst on earth Jesus’ appearance was ordinary, he didn’t stand out. Yet we sing hymns of Him being beautiful. Obviously His glorified body is perfect, except for His scars, does that mean His appearance was the same? Did you notice this? When He appeared to me in the funeral home, with my wife when I was saying goodbye to her and the beautiful peace came that He gave me, I could not see His face. There was so much joy, the shock of His and her presence took my breath away and the fact that extreme grief turned to pure joy and bliss, it was only later I thought about noticing Him more! Does this question make sense?
Hi Ken - I think I sort of understand your comment and question. When the songs/hymns speak of His beauty, it has nothing to do with physical appearance, rather the beauty of His presence and being.
He is very plain, very ordinary, very normal in appearance, even glorified. Not homely, just average.The closest rendition I've seen is the reverse image of the Shroud of Turin. Except His face is thinner, longer, more weathered, flatter nose, but basically Him, perhaps, perhaps, at the point between death and resurrection transformation.
The beauty comes in His presence, in His eyes, in His very being, which is love, peace, and joy. A Christian who has died is spirit and soul in heaven. We await the glorification or as Paul said in Romans 8, the redemption of our bodies. A person's spirit and soul are in appearance the real us, and as such we are timeless. So a person in heaven looks to be in their early 30's, for the spirit man never ages past becoming adult. Even those who died while old on earth, in heaven look young, yet you can tell they are older...hard to explain because there isn't anything like it on earth to compare it to. But you can see all the Lord imparted to them if they walked with Him for decades on earth before dying while old. All that earth and gravity and the world added are gone, only what is in Christ remains in a person's face and being.
