- We took a new spec'd up 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 DT Sport and spent 3 months modifying it to be the ultimate tourer to tackle Australia's most remote destinations. In this video we run through all the modifications completed to the vehicle.

How has the mods impacted on economy? I know that no-one buys cars like this for economy but I here some impressive figures for unmodified ones but I know from my Landcruiser that decent off-road tyres, roof platforms and awnings etc impact quite a lot on economy.
Great video mate, cheers. Is it relatively smooth ride? Can I ask how heavy is she on the juice? Looking at maybe getting a big horn via SCD.
Ride quality on Kings is exceptional. Fuel it averages around 30lt to 100km when loaded/towing and when not its actually actually not that bad 12-15lt depending on how you drive.
ummm... LOL... very close to buying a RAM myself. Would never buy from SCD but thats JUST ME. Enjoy the rig..

How does it go offroad? not just gravel tracks but more sandy things like beaches? wife has a Y62 and looking at getting a 1500 Laramie for myself as a work rig/weekend fun with the mates/family down on local beaches/etc.. Don't want to be getting bogged every 2 seconds.

Hi mate, did the rear axle get strengthened? If so, do you know the new rating?
Great looking truck mate, I've been looking into these. Did you have to get a GVM upgrade for the extra weights as they only have 845kg payload which will include your towball weight?
DT's have 1200
True though different suppliers have different GVM's. SCD currently have the highest fro memory.
