Yeah basically. Just look at images of a Zerg hydralisk compared to a Tyranid Ravener. Zerg are just chibi tyranids. The starcraft marine armor also looks pretty similar to space marine armor too. I believe I heard at one point they actually wanted to make a 40k game, but they either couldn't get the rights to it or it was too complicated so they just made a slimmed down knockoff.
It just seems like they don't carry the same weapons as industrialized races. You know, like a gun with a magazine. I mean, do tyrannids retire from battle and go to work in a manufacturing plant? Maybe buy a house, raise a few lil rippers? Edit: some of the pics show them gripping pistols
We in trouble if those things was real out there in space. How long you think we can survive just one ship. Im sure we got some secret weapons and robot soldiers on stand by, right.
