Orange Campers TROUVAILLE CLASSIQUE 5.4m Campervan - A Serious Rival To The Transporter?

Looking around at the recent Newark show we saw a really innovative build from OrangeCampers based on the 5.4m Fiat body (although the demo is on the Citroen) what took us was the enthusiasm of the builder Richard and his wife Sonia and their passion for a bespoke build that was well thought out. In this video Richard talks to Rick about his latest design and shows him around the van.
Hi We're Rick, Heather & our dog Poppy and we travel the U.K in our S&L Apollo camper van “Athena”
We film the places we visit as our own diary, these videos are meant as a little memento for us but we're happy to share them with you if you want to watch.
We're just an ordinary couple in our 50's filming our adventures with basic equipment so don't expect loads of flash camera action and super editing with great music.
We also film videos of work we have done on our van as well as van reviews for our reference of the next van we might buy. Occasionally there are hints & tips videos too. We do basic site and area reviews including if they’re dog friendly but they’re a guide only based on our opinions which may or may not help you make an informed decision on if you’d like the place.
We do a mix of off grid camping, pub stopovers plus real campsites too, hopefully something for everyone to enjoy!

Really like this van as it would be ideal for the family to ‘borrow’ from time to time or to take the grandkids plus useful as a daily drive as you said. Food for thought, thanks Rick 🙂
It’s definitely something I’d like if we ever went back to a small van, I’ve had vw’s and other than badge snobbery this is miles better than a transporter layout 👍

Yep I really liked it hence the video, Richard talking us round it seemed a fresh approach and his enthusiasm was evident, I think these types of companies are better to deal with 👍

But that van is exactly the same length

Looks well screwed together and doesn't appear to have acres of carpeted walls. The RIB beds are very good, we had a double in our T6 which I fitted before the conversion. The company who did the conversion for us were impressed by the RIB quality. Cheers K.
I was definitely impressed with his build and also he actually uses them too as he’s a family camper, you can see that in some ideas I think
