    I don't think you guys understand how much these video's impact your viewers. Especially when they come out on Friday's. I am stuck in a toxic job right now, that just absolutely drains me, but after watching this videos at the end of a migraine inducing week, it inspires me to ditch running to my bad habits of playing games or watching reruns, and gets me in my oven of a garage to work on cool things myself. So thank you for A) Given me something positive to end the week on and B) Inspiring me to make my own crazy stuff. Much Love!

      @@ontariofishing1790 Very cool, a few projects I currently have in queue are: An automated vegetable grow tower, to start being able to grow my garden vertical and cut down on food costs. I also have an 94' Cherokee that I have slowly been turning into an Overlander, so I can fish the mountain streams on the weekends with my dog!

    You inspired me to do. I’m 14 and I’ve never fabricated it even welded until now, and today I did. My dirtbike needed a new skid plate, and after watching this video I went and Made one using our mig and the cutoff wheel, and it turned out actually really good. No idea if you guys are planning on it at this point, but @aserta 's suggestion on the last video about an auto inflating rescue buoy definitely seems like a solid next step in the build, just to make running it a little less sketchy. Also, I feel like some padding on the dash of the boat to protect knees/shins would be a good quality of life upgrade.

    also an important feature to think about adding is a bilge blower so it can blow all of the (potentially) flammable gasses out before you start it up so the boat does'nt have a chance to blow up.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Few things I noticed. You need a splash guard behind the seat to stop the transom wake wave wash from swamping the boat when stopping fast. Second strongly consider adding marine non flam. flotation foam in the engine area and in/under the bow and any other locations. One good flooding and that thing will sink like a rock. 3rd point consider adding some designer foam padding to the top of the wind screen, incase someone decides to grace there face on it after a big wave hop. Just saying, I'm in the marine industroy dealing with luxury yachts and everything inbetween in south florida.

    • @berinslaptop
      @berinslaptop 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will also want a now that I think about it. A duck bill inline checkvalve on the bilge pump hose. When the transom gets hit with wake wash water, it willl flood down the bilge hose flowing right out the pump until enough water triggers the float and it clear. Just something to keep in mind.

    • @majorrev8690
      @majorrev8690 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@berinslaptop To keep the wash from flowing over the engine cover, he needs to remember to hit the throttle a little once off plane to get out of that zone. As most jet boat owners learn real quick to do. Full disclosure, I've never owned a jet drive boat tho. I have a Majek Xtreme.
      Every bilge output I've seen is on the side of the hull, not the transom. Could it be for the exact reason you mention?

    • @berinslaptop
      @berinslaptop 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@majorrev8690 Having to take an active action to prevent a problem is not a solution to the problem. Only a bandaid to a problem that its self can cause issues and problems. And still leaves the boat in a vulnerable state, as well as being an unknown issues to anyone else. Not a solution. the location of an output of a bilge does not matter so long as it does not stop the operation it is intended for. And has safe guardes to stop siphoning.

    • @berinslaptop
      @berinslaptop 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @majorrev8690 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@berinslaptop Fair enough Im not disagreeing with your suggestions at all. I do think, though, that every boat operator should learn all the idiosyncrasies of his/her watercraft. My hull is self draining and I still try to keep the water from flowing over the transom when I get off plane. I do this by SIMPLY running out a few yards. In the water, there aint no reason to feel like you need to stop on a dime. Well, where I fish anyway.

You can swell the battery and then you're at risk of the battery exploding or the drone just dropping out of the sky if it expands enough to separate the contacts inside. If your battery swells, it's done - go buy a new one.

    This thing needs a big flag whip off the back with the little triangle flag because it looks like an RC toy, I love it. This is the perfect thing.

    So first of all this little boat is hell of fun to watch even! Got in late, but eventually found it via insta and the a TH-cam notification of your channel again haha.
    Do like the jackery things aswell, seems like a addition to the game if there's plenty of sun to charge. 👌

    Video was perfect!!! And man you guys took a beating on that tub. I've done some tubing at 50mph and it's harsh when wiped around a turn and u bounce across the water.

    They mount the toe line as high as possible to keep your toe line out of the water which creates a tremendous amount of drag especially laterally and away from your prop or out drive area.

    For towing is better to have the tow point in the middle of the boat, makes it much easier to turn with a load. Just look at tug boats👍

    OK, hear me out: Buy a small(or not, based on the power this has) aluminum boat, and cut out the backend so that this boat can dock in it and become it's power source. You can use this little boat to power it out into the lake, then undock and go for a rip, return to the boat to dock and head home. You could make a real party boat if you went big, but even just some fun with a fishing boat that can go absurdly fast would be neat.

    Okay guys, Cleetus McFarlund just posted the qualifiers for his second Jet Sprint boat race. Maybe the organizers of those races would let you run their course as a demo, might even inspire a whole new class of racing for them. I'm sure I remember them racing in Spokane years ago, so maybe not too far to travel. Would love to see you try. Absolutely awesome build guys.
