- This is me with members of the Groove Babies, the Star Princess Orchestra and the Crystal String Quintet performing Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" aboard the Star Princess on Band Night in the Crew Bar. Enjoy listening to it, we sure enjoyed performing and recording it. For all those who have a problem with the faster tempo, I've created a secondary video at Zep's original 84 bpm.

She is wonderful and does justice to the song! They all looked like they were having a blast!

I have to say this - this is brilliant! Anyone who knows this song, knows that it is a Led Zeppelin classic. It is one of their most brilliant songs ever done, and set the standard extremely high for those to come.
Although I’ve never been much on Zeppelin .. never really listened..this cover really made me see how amazing this song is and how unique. I love the way the tempo was speeded up here and her voice… love it!🎶

10 years on and IMHO this is still one of, if not the best renditions of Kashmir, love the faster tempo. It also looks like you all? enjoyed doing it. Thank you all for a great performance,and to the videographers. A classic song and stellar performance.
I haven’t seen a better performance of Kashmir. Just discovered this 2 weeks ago and I have to here it at least once a day..There’s that Aly girl I saw 2 days ago but I think she is trying to use the same pace in the song. Very close but no cigar...where can I see more of this group
This is effin briliant. I hope the boys had a chance to hear this rendition. There's no pretense, they're just playin' some good ole rock-n-roll. Best cover I've heard.
I´m with Led Zeppelin since 1969 and truly this version is a great cover of Kashmir....yes even, it´s MUCH FASTER than the original, but honestly, if you accept the different and let yourself get into it, there is a real enjoyning. Well, i do ;-) The lady brings the tune well to the point, nice close to R.P. bravo , well done to all of you , thanks for this version!

People complaining about the Tempo ... every artist changes the arrangement to suit their style and singing voice. Sometimes it works and I happen to like this.

Well done! You guys really captured my favorite part of the song at 3:50. I have heard many versions that didn't bring what i feel to be the essence of the song, but this version is awesome.
We made it a bit quicker because as the band on a cruise ship we have what they call crew parties, and the orchestra has to change over with several different ensembles throughout the evening...Sometimes it's hard to capture the attention of the crew our audience, after so many change overs with musicians....Not to mention that the crew likes to get up and dance etc...So we thought we'd give it a few more bpms... Obviously the band is killer and we could have easily have played it slower, but we tried a compromise for the sake of changeover and engaging the audience...Anyway, it was a very powerful and special moment for my band The Groove Babies, and my Singer/Fiancé at the time. We had so.much fun on the Star.

If you've ever seen Led Zeppelin Live, (and I Have, 3 TIMES), they changed tempos to songs many times...and after all, this is just a song. The band and the singer did a Fantastic Job.

This is my all-time favorite song & I am a huge Zep fan & a gigging musician ... Regardless of the tempo , I rather enjoyed this. I don't think most people realize how hard it is to get this many people on the same page & make it click. We'll done.

Liana learned this song during a very tough time in her life, this video almost never happened. I was glad that I convinced her to take part in it. I believe it was very therapeutic and served as a creative diversion during a sad time. Liana is an incredibly gifted singer, and I'm grateful to say, was my partner and best friend for several years...and someone I still love tremendously. Also Peter, and all the other muso's on board were simply superb, and it was an honor being part of it. Love, S

First of all, I think all members of this Orchestra should be named. Zep is my favorite band all time, and the fact Kashmir has been reproduced so many times, and this is perhaps the best, IMO says it all. You could play this version the world over and everyone would love it.

The speed suits her voice. She sounds amazing. Most people either try to sound exactly like Plant since his voice is extremely unique and they end up failing terribly or butchering the song. Few actually due justice, and even fewer have their own style work well.
This band, some by the looks, may not heave been born when this song came out. I absolutely loved this performance, thank-you for sharing this with all of us and best of luck. this will be posted to my channel as the number one and it is gonna take a lot to move it out of that spot.
