Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Thanks for watching and just be sure to keep watching looking for your content it will air but probably not immediately after it happens!
New technique woman in the blue shirt reminds me of my senior canoeing instructor: "Try to keep your ankle dry, get your leg wet" - the amount of effort people put into trying to keep their foot dry is usually the reason they fall and get totally soaked, or hurt. He ALWAYS encouraged people to step into the water on a sure thing instead of heroics.
She committed to dropping off the bow into shallow water, landing on her feet, and having very precise control of the boat from that point. Seeing where her feet are landing, and having such precise control - not sure how she could beat that.
2:27...love the comment about the Rear End sliding out as the wife bends over...
.notice how she threw the line in the boat as the boat was floating away...new technique for keeping a boat out of trouble....????
Its shocking to me how this many people do not have situational awareness... talk about out to lunch...
Not shocking if you’ve been around ramps much. The bass boats not so much, but the others … 🙄.
A bunch of good landing in this episode!
That black GMC almost played a game of Whack-F**k! HAHAHA. Thanks for all of the entertaining videos. I should sit at some of the boat ramps around me and film. Nothing but clowns. HAHA. Pinellas County is full of them.
these are so great, please promise to keep the content rushing out to the internet - subscribed!
Anytime anybody's having a problem at the Docks try to help them out be a kind human
😂😂😂😂lol so I expect him to help everyone? No one knows shit. It’s miami. 🤣🤣
Not the way people are today, nobody helped that gal who fell in. That one A H got up and walked away.
I think online you can go to Coast Guard auxiliary they have safe boating courses
Strong wind blowing right to left so Mr Boater with the $150K rig decides to take the left dock and fight the wind, brilliant!
My wife and I do the same thing when we're trailering. We don't power load and the wind/current pulling the boat away from the dock makes it easier to walk the boat onto the trailer. So in actuality, it IS a brilliant move!
If you're referring to the Invincible please let me know where I can buy one for 150K
@@chris_bjj123 Yep. I'll take a couple !!
The lack of fenders on all but one of those is terrible.
I have a new boat and I don’t use fender in these kind of dock either, unless you’re a new boater you don’t need a fender this docks have rubber edge
they are fishing boats not poodles
@@fastwin493 I have brand new boat but not new to boating I can gently dock so no concern unless it’s very windy or lots of wake at the dock I don’t use fender it’s a waste of time for me but to each his own I see bunch of reason why u would put fenders on yours and it’s a good thing too
These boaters barely have lines- I would not expect them to have fenders.
If you know what you're doing (I know, doesn't apply in Miami), you don't need fenders, because there is no need to tie to the dock unless you're solo.
Great video as always. Keep it up!!
That click bait got me...
I'm a patient man.
Such reward
Our boat rules: The captain stays at the helm until docked (you know, actually controlling the boat). ONE passenger (or one front, one rear) are put in charge of dock lines. No one else moves or leaves the boat until the captain says it's ok.
Should be the law
@@Agent0range67 it's like someone setting the cruise on an RV then walking to the back to make a sandwich. It just doesn't make sense.
additionally, NO jumping to the dock, step only. If you have to jump, make another approach. Also, nobody gets between the boat and dock ever. No human fenders.
Nah, we have enough laws. @@Agent0range67
Did anyone notice - the Sea-Doo also had the bow line snagged on the trailer so when the truck pulled out - the line was ripped out of the girls hand. Fun times at the boat ramp!!
I was wondering where the line went! She played it real cool
On your way to the ramp, say, I need both a bow and a stern line, some fenders, and their is no place for your wheels to be in the water. 😉😉
Was a coxswain in navy on motor whale boat. If you take the bow line and secure to a dock bollard. Then apply power towards dock the stern kicks in to pier and you tie off. So easy. Yes you have to allow moderate slack in bow. I dock my boat single-handed in all kinds of weather.
Another great vid
I used to bring my Hardy 20, with a 75HP outboard, alongside on my own. The secret is: 1. to have all your lines ready and running aft first, 2. Come alongside and tie up your stern line from within the boat, 3. Put the engine into fwd tick over and turn the wheel hard over towards the jetty. This tightens the stern line and gently brings the bow in to the jetty. 4. Grab bow line, switch off engine and step ashore looking cool and tie up.
Similarly, if the bow line is tied up first, then turn the wheel hard over to the jetty and go astern on tick over. This brings the stern in nice and slow.
The number of boat captains that just leave the helm as the boat is floating away just blows my mind. I sit here screaming at my computer "DRIVE THE BOAT". So much could be solved with the use of the engines to, you know, control the boat.
I have a 19’ boat (in the movie Grownups) and also dock by myself. However, when I use my forward spring line, with a little slack, and put it on the cleat, I put it in forward gear, and turn away from the dock, bringing in the stern.
These people drive boats like I see people drive cars. As long as that can aim it into a spot, they don’t care about anyone around them.
Great technique I use the bow line
Geez if that one boat moved the useless bowline to the stern - problem solved.
Your Zoom...needs to Zoom Faster😂
This sounds like watching golf. All you need is some background 'golf claps' upon successful mooring.
Kind of like listening to a radio broadcast of a baseball game.
Did everyone just buy their boat last night or what???
It takes about 5 minutes of watching TH-cam to learn how to backup a trailer by putting your hand at 6oclock
You're so smart!
You are 100 % right. It's so simple with hand at 6 o'clock. Surprising how many people don't know or are just so set in their ways and don't try!
My dad taught me but also blocked out the rear view mirror and back window and told me to use the side mirrors.
As crazy as it sounds it's easier because your body isn't turned around
Just think Opposite : in the TV at the wheel its 'Right to go left and Left to go right' Meaning turn the steering to the right.... back of trailer goes left ....Left turn back of trailer goes right . Go too far ? Just pull up straight and start again. Practice makes perfect !
God think it was 79th Street. Fred would’ve been swimming around, that girl would’ve been running on top of the water. 😂
more boaters need to take the US Power Squadron course...
I enjoy watching your boat ramp videos! I don't have a boat, never owned a boat, but my friends that do have boats tell me that one of the happiest days of your life is the day you get your boat and the second happiest day is the day you sell it! Keep up the good work!
You do know what Boat stands for.

She didn’t fall in, she jumped in.
We called it Saturday night entertainment
when I launch my 20ft trailersailer I have one line from the bow to the stern so I can control it on my own.
Use a midship line when launching, people! Keep your bow and stern lines on the cleats permanently and ready BEFORE you dock. This is maddening.
I have Power Poles and they will hold me wherever I put them down.
I am always solo but have no issues.
That many guys around and nobody offered her a hand to get up.
Can't do stuff like that anymore. It will get you in trouble. Can't open doors for women, etc. It's the way the activist women want it. Now that they have it, I hope they like it.
She fell in the water, it’s not like she fell off of the top of a house.
You KNOW we was saying hurry up, here comes that gator.
Miami Boats, I know you don't response to questions, but, that jet boat launch is a classic example of the need to use one continuous line tied bow to stern. The girl on the dock had no control of the stern and I couldn't believe she drop the bow line and then grabbed to centre handrail, very lucky boat didn't draft away. How can this single be better than a line tied to bow to stern, please explain.
I've watched several of theses launches and dockings, Has anyone heard of fenders or bumpers? OMG
WTF the sea doo was 18 ft and the stern line was 3 ft. Always amazes me when boaters have insufficient lines.
I'm a Commercial Lobster and stone crab trapper. And with all my years of experiance, I can't wrap my head around, why people insist on fighting the wind???? Why do you dock againt the wind??? If you have to there is a way, but thats not it!!!!
7:40, Nice, 4 guys on the boat, who has the line? The girl.
Is that big croc still around the ramp? I'd be out of that water faster than you can say Miami Boat Ramp!
👍👍
girly walking up next to the ramp barefoot - always a million hooks around docks
So the seadoo guy and center cabin guy had an open ramp right next to them on the up current/upwind side and chose down wind and current to launch. Oooo K.
question from a non-boater - why not have a single line tied to the bow and stern, that way one person can control both ?
Remember, this Florida... lol
Best to step off the boat while holding two lines, bow and stern. Quickly tie one to a dock cleat, move to the other and tie it. Cinch them in after they’ve been tied. Never just stand on the dock holding the lines.
My Dad told me years ago to watch the funniest show on earth is to watch people in a shopping mall and watch people at
two long ropes double the length of the boat. tie them on both ends to control it better while docking. learn it jeez people!!!!!
Those lines don’t cost much. Not like trying to buy a 300 foot roll. Anyone of those “don’t have lines” heard of Amazon, Walmart, Dicks, Academy?
Watching this video makes me wonder why nobody ever has the dock lines at the ready when approaching the dock.
It truly amazes me at how so many inept boaters are in FL.
Why don't they have the ropes ready before they get to the dock? You got to do your PPs. Prior planning prevents piss poor performance.
*Lines... dock lines. If you say "ropes", you qualify as Googan.
7:47
And not one of those men offered to assist that girl. Damn!
You forgot equality. She might hit him for offering
The crocodile hangs out under the dock.
On that Sea-Doo, why not just tie your line to the mid clear. Would be so much easier to launch, control, and tie to dock without stern kicking out and doing a 360. Hope these people watch your videos and LEARN from theirs and others mistakes. Good job, keep the videos coming.
Agree, but a line tied bow to stern works even better, don't understand this one line crap.
@@Renegade040 since I solo on my boat I have a line tied on the bow and on the stern. The bow is pretty long and tied to a tie in the bed of my truck. Back down the ramp and when I see the boat release, I slowly pull out of the ramp until dry, stop, parking brake, get out and get my line. I then walk around onto the dock. The stern line is tied at mid point of bow line so once on dock I can pull on both lines and secure to dock tie downs. Yes, two bumpers are deployed. It’s a piece of cake. I just don’t understand the struggles. I don’t drink so that helps.
Why struggle? Use the wind and current to your advantage.
WHY don't they have dock ladders ?
Loke your vids. Do not understand why SO MANY boats never use a stern line. Only have a bow lone. Have great marketing idea. Sell boat lines with packaged labeled either for stern use or bow use.
they should have turned the boat all the way to point out since it was half way there already.
He could have just idled forward. Let the mid line be a spring. But I'm not sure if there was enough room in front.
forward OR reverse, instead he chose none and fought the boat instead of using it to his advantage.
Are fenders and mooring line very expensive in the USA? Or is gelcoat cheap to repair? Pretty clueless seamanship displayed by most, it's beyond me that you'd spend 10000's on a boat set up and not spend $600 on a seamanship course
Not having fenders out when approaching the dock is “boat abuse.”
I have never seen used them. Never had a dock low enough to hit my hull and not the rub rail.
I've seen too many mishaps on these boat launches. There has to be a better way to keep vehicles from ending up in the water.
Look at all the dock cleats !!
Like they actually want you to tie off and hang out
And that's EXACTLY the problem!
windy day
Can't believe then guys that were around the girl that went in didn't even offer helping her way up back on the dock what a shame where I come from you help they need to gentlemen not idiots watching her struggle
They were probably married.
Something happened with that last boat with the pink bikini. Nothing wrong with the docking but 2 or 3 people jumped off the boat before it was even tied off and marched up the dock like screw you we're not friends any more.
I thought Water Buffalo's, were comfortable in the water.
that boat needs lines longer than a 5 foot shoelace
No using fenders
Can't understand why so many try to dock on downwind side instead of using the wind to their advantage?
I don't get why nobody has a stern line ready.
What is so hard about lassoing a cleat from the boat?
You can go ahead and quit with the clickbait titles

Ohh the dude that was on the jet ski will definitely have some lonely nights for a min.
The blonde in the purple bikini... with the word "Trophy" on the boat... priceless. Nothing truer than that!

03:32 Why do NONE of these GOOGANS place the dock line around a cleat immediately? That's how it's done.
It took him a full 1/2 minute to do it.???
why aren't these guys using the wind to their advantage? why not dock on port side when launch is empty and wind coming from the right?
Are fenders and prepping lines prior to arrival not a thing in Florida? Sheesh, I was cringing the whole video.
The Invincible Capt is another example of money with no boating sense. All she had to do was put a stern line on, walk to the bow and hand him the line. It's so pathetic it's actually sad...
I know. I was about to start screaming at them through my phone to do that lol.
600 horsepower boat, but the captain only has a 1 horsepower brain....
She will dump him
Help the lady be a gentleman get her out of the water
There are many of you that made comments that are damn good boaters that's a big Plus in the Boating world
Lol, where did these people learn to drive boats!! How about two lines or dont come into the dock on the upwind side. wtf??
Why do boaters always head to the other side of the dock, so the wind n currents push em away from the dock? when they could be on the other side and let the wind n current help them dock and keep the boat close to the dock...smh....
That's exactly what my wife and I do! It's easier to hook the bow and use the drive to pull the stern into the dock. Did you ever try to push a boat away from the dock (against the tide/wind) to get it out onto a trailer? Since we don't power load, the wind/current pushing the boat AWAY from the dock makes it MUCH easier because we can control everything with dock lines. We've been boating/launching/loading for 40+ years so, we pretty much have it down to a science that works perfectly for us.
Do Cubans have to drink all day every day? Dude cant even pick up a boat without a beer in his hand.
This is one of the most frustrating channels to watch…
why are so many of these boaters so inept ?! and a they are so lacking in skill why don't they have fenders ... and more importantly LIFE JACKETS ??!! who would want to be overboard and have one of these guys recovering them ??🤷♂😂
Does nobody know how to take a quick turn on a dock cleat rather than trying to play tug of war with a boat?
This channel is SO hard to watch, the activity I see at these boat ramps would make me give up boating especially around these people or just choose to never live in an area like this. PS I used to live in Cape Coral FL and because I'm not a millionaire I moved away out west.
3:45 useless.
Unless your solo launching, ropes are for rookies
