How are your games so intense? Like I've seen many games, scarier than your infact but none are quite as intense as this one. Especially at around like 40 minutes into the video. Keep it up. Big fan! ❤
@@purple7056 What we purposely do, which is different from most other horror games, is that we don't script moment to moment gameplay. We create randomized environments and try to make the AI adapt to whatever happens, and we let the gameplay emerge from that however it may. Most horror games carefully script every moment so that everyone has the same exact curated experience.
We're continuing to try to master our unique approach and hope that more and more possibilities keep emerging as we keep improving the AI and environments.

Considering how the audio plays a jumpscare noise I can see why you wouldn’t want to, but whenever I replayed poolroom and followed him it made the room super easy.

It's a kind of "preview screen" for the entity, it is similar for all of them. I thought the same first when he read about the crawly monster and it walked around on the screen 😂

It's more entertaining to watch/play duping and tricking the AI by doing the exact opposite of what the game tells you the game tells you to stand still you do a jig and then trick and duplicate AI into missing you.

I just wanna say I really appreciate the editing you put into the videos, IGP! One of my personal favorites is the overlay when you're reading things like the codex entries, leaving the page on the screen in such a way that we can read along, while also having the related visual element behind it. It's nice! And makes it more visually interesting and engaging, for me anyway!
I'm glad to hear! That's my goal. I know just having the page and being read to can be boring. It is for me when I watch stuff as well haha

The serpent is programmed to keep coming straight at you for a few seconds, even after standing still. The devs team did a great job designing its face to strike absolute terror when it is coming at you. The only way to survive is to fight your instinct to run and stand still until the last second; it will eventually turn around and go away.

If u had just read the last bit of the last codex about the snake entity you would have realised it said u have to break line of sight before standing still. But it is very fast once it sees you so u gotta be quick to break line of sight. As soon as u do u can stand still, I’m guessing ull be alright aslong as u don’t stand in the middle of the corridor lol.

The Liminal Space games that have monsters in them are weirdly less horrify then the ones without, I find my brain filling in for so much of the stuff that 'should' be there in the ones with no entities and it stress' me out way more then a couple of monster chases although those still get me pretty bad.
True well technically the original backrooms also had no entities, just you wandering around with your imagination which made it a lot scarier but then the more popular it got the entities started to appear which made it arguably lose it's scary factor in a way
Liminal spaces is like being afraid of the dark. But your not afraid of the dark, your afraid of what lies within the dark
There is nothing more terrifying then TRUE lonelyness. Cause at least with the monsters you have something to interact with. While in true liminal emptiness…. There is nothing but you… yourself… and your thoughts to drive you insane

I appreciate everything IGP does to make his videos more immersive: echo effects when appropriate, the genuine horror when something scary happens, even his camera movement and usage of the systems placed in game. It comes across as very genuine, and that helps the immersion and, for me, enjoyment.
I've been rewatching the other classrooms vid so many times, man. I just love watching IGP running from multiple terrifying entities while on the brink of a heart attack, yet he can't scream because the game is listening to his mic. Glad to finally see a continuation!

I’ve been watching your more recent videos fairly regularly but i didn’t realize until you entered that classroom area that i had seen you play it before. tbh I don't like the fact that the backrooms are now focused on entities and not liminal space which ruins the the fact the you are alone theres no one to help you
I like both honestly. This game could be not labeled as a backrooms game and it would still be solid. These kinds of backrooms games are just themed as the backrooms, that's all.
Feels like this one is only borrowing the Backrooms concept, just as it borrows the SCP thing too.
And honestly does one of the best jobs at merging the two ideas. Most games with entities have them as basic chase monsters.
While I love the liminal space ones, this is one of the best for the "entities and puzzles" type games.
