- It's been a while since I've done one of these Berserk Deluxe Editions overviews. So please, join me for an overview of Berserk Deluxe Edition Volume 11 from Dark Horse! I talk about the stories collected in this particular volume. So there will be some mild spoilers.

Love these deluxe editions, really does justice to the artwork. Spoils me for other manga series, I want them in this format too.
There are a few similar besides Dark Horse ones (Berserk, Blade of the Immortal, Hellsing) like Kodansha's releases of Magic Knight Rayearth, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Akira. They're still pretty rare though
@@mumei178 Yep. I own the Akira box set, it's great. Blade of the Immortal would be the next series I'd go for, I couldn't get into Hellsing.
I really had hoped against hope that they'd release BotI unflipped but since they didn't I couldn't justify getting it again

Imagine Vagabond, Kingdom, One Piece, Gantz, Slam Dunk have this deluxe format 🤔
@@yuizaift8940 I'd particularly like Vagabond in oversized hardcover - those Vizbig editions are nice but they tend to fall apart too easily. One Piece would be welcome but man, to collect just what's out now would require a lot of hardcovers.

I have to admit, the reason I even looked into getting these Deluxe Editions at first was because of just how damn good they look. Good thing I like the story too, lol.
I got this on release day a week ago, but have been reading it _really_ slowly, unlike how I read the other volumes I have because I'm not looking forward to finishing it and having to wait until November to get the next one.
I think the single volumes are out up until like 40 right now, but I'd just gotten used to these wonderful oversized hardcovers I'd rather just wait for them to release in this format than getting the singles and eventually double dipping on the Deluxe Editions anyways.

With new translations too. I stopped getting the singles due to nuances being missed.
Now I have more books to collect. I got the Hellboy/Mignola Universe, TMNT hardcovers and now Berserk. Sheesh.
I actually think it would be cool to get a box set of it.

Have you come across any that weren't embossed? My Deluxe Vol. 10 had no embossing; it stands out like a sore thumb next too the others
You might have just gotten a misprint iv never heard of them coming without embossing
@@tsundokus I got mine from Right Stuf Anime but all the new prints of previous releases at my local shop have the same issue. Might be two different printing locations possibly?
Brother I say you need those Berzerk book ends with the sword going through the books it would so make the book set.
I own the first 4 of these beauties. It will take some time, but I'll reach it one day.
I think this manga is perfect for October like for example Halloween.
How many will there be by the way?
Did IST ever get this instock? Been checking their website since before the release date and have never have seen it in stock there.

Huge fan of the deluxe editions but my volumes still get love since they’ve always been there for me. Volume 28 best cover in all of manga IMO
How many of these are existing im currently on 9 and own all 11
@@masonbentz9512 each deluxe edition (hardcover black binding “The Brand.” Cover if you will) is made up of 3 soft volumes. As of now there are a total of 40 English and 41 Japanese soft cover volumes all with their own individual covers. 11 deluxe editions have come out by my count so that encompasses 33 out of the 40/41 soft cover volumes released right now. A new deluxe will come out every 3-7 months until they catch up with studio Gaga who’s got a release schedule as of now of 2 chapters a month. I

@@masonbentz9512 it depends on how much Kouji Mori remembers and how long it takes studio Gaga to create the whole thing. We will most likely see 3 more black deluxe editions covering soft cover volumes 34-(future volume)42 come out pretty quickly in the next few months and years. Then it all depends on how long it takes for studio Gaga to finish what Kentaro Miura told Kouji Mori which is up to the very end. As of now there’s a pretty quick pace of once of a month releases. But I would not expect to complete our collections of Deluxe editions for years.

There are two more and then they have to decide what to do with 40 and 41. And when it’s continued.
@@NearMintCondition I think they're either going to wait for 42 or maybe they'll decide to combine 40 and 41 with the guidebook. That would be cool.

I think they said next week and I believe previews has it on that date. I just checked and previews has it on the 10th. So everyone else got it early
