The video was shot by Sabaton 2010, in Norblin Factory, Warsaw. Peter Stormare (the guy playing the german officer) is a Swedish actor who agreed to play in the video because he's a heavy metal fan and a fan of Sabaton. I actually urge you to react to the same song but live from Woodstock Poland 2012. That will definitely NOT make you sad, it will only show you the pride of the Polish people....and it's epic cause the band have a choir of more than 500.000 people in the crowd!!! Also...with this song and 40:1 2008, the archbishop of Gdansk awarded Sabaton with an authentic Polish officer sabre, cause the band had highlighted Polish history Anyway....I'm ranting here, your reactions touch me so you have earned yourself a subscriber. I will definitely check out more of your reactions.
Oh wow! That is so cool! Did not know that about connection like that between Sabaton and archbishop of Gdańsk! Don't apologise, we learn so much from comments. This is great! Thank you for watching and the sub! 😍
im from Denmark but have visited Poland much on vacations and what a beautiful country, it really saddens me what war crimes have happened there throughout history, but Sabaton did a fantastic job retelling what happened but also showing a huge amount of support for Poland as well, just stumbled upon your channel, and i really really like how you guys react, please do continue :)
great reaction, you are great, a great song about the brave and great Poland, history will forever speak of the brave Pole who preferred death to surrender, great reaction and long life to the brave Poland, from Chile.
It is never silly to show human emotions. Can you even imagine being in a crowd of 1000's of Polish fans singing along with this song? It gives me chills to even think about it! Be proud to be Polish. Never surrender! Fight for your freedom against all odds.
I love how sweet you are with each other. I watch a lot of reactions. But unlike most of the channels, I subscribed to you immediately. I love how genuine you are. Thank you!
Dzieki ogromne! Chyba kazdy Polak czuje podobnie sluchsjac Sabaton!...sprawdzilismy ta piosenke z Woodstock, i znowu ryczalam! Cos pieknego! Pozdrawiam cieplo! 🇵🇱
Andre you are such a beautiful soul. From the beginning you're looking at Dominika how she's doing because of the Polish background and this song of Warschau during WWII. That's real love.
If you want something just as powerful that will not make you cry, check out the song Winged Hussars, about the siege of Vienna 1683, when Winged Hussars of Poland saved the city from the Ottomans. Great reaction as always ( it's perfectly ok to be emotional about Sabaton songs, we all are)
I love you guys, you seem so nice😊 Thank you for this reaction, it was amazing. The video is actually not from a movie, it was filmed solely for this song. It is good enough to be a movie though 😄
Your honest reactions and display of emotion is what makes you one of the best reactors on TH-cam! Please don't ever feel bad or apologize for having an honest, emotional response. That's what great art is all about.
This clip always cracks me up (and I always play it on August 1, despite not being a Warsaw citizen) and your reaction made me cry this very day. Thank you.
I'm only 7 minutes and 50 seconds into your reaction and you have me crying to. I was born in 1949, a little after the war but the history of World War II was fresh and we were taught to be aware of what was happening in the world so that it wouldn't be repeated. The things that were done to innocent people right across Europe was disgraceful and no one should ever have the power to do the things that Hitler reigned down upon the world for 6 years. And here we are watching Ukraine being subjected to exactly the same kind of brutality. Did we really learn nothing and have to re-learn it all over again. I say more power to groups like Sabaton for reminding people of the history of man's brutality to man, and while it's hard to look at, we need to so that nations don't turn their eyes away but stand together and tell the power hungry bullies like Putin that their actions are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Sorry for ranting.
Hi Guys, love the new backdrop. Sabaton, wow what a band. all of these stories should never ever ever be allowed to be forgotten. they highlight the human race at it's bravest & most stupid at the same time. Dominica sweetheart never be ashamed of your emotions if anyone should be ashamed it's a British subscriber like me who is old enough to know promises my government made in such dyer times & let you all down. [ quote lest we forget ] from one english man to a polish lady plz forgive us x
I think it would be unfair to certainly blame any living British citizen for the abandonment of Poland during the German invasion of 1939. In defense of the British, they really couldn't have stopped the German invasion of Poland even if they had wanted to. Most countries in Europe were still recovering from the horrors and devastation of the first world war and only a few countries had rebuilt their militaries in any meaningful capacity. Unfortunately the country who did rebuild their military the most effectively was Germany. The defense of Poland was basically a bluff against Germany to hopefully dissuade Hitler from invading, which was Ultimately unsuccessful. The unfortunate truth was that a lot of countries had to be sacrificed to German aggression before the allies would be able to mount an actual defense, even France wasn't immune to this. God bless the Polish though, not only did they resist bitterly in their home country but they were instrumental in defense of the British during the Battle of Britain. If interested I would check out the awesome Sabaton song "Aces in Exile". The polish 303rd of the RAF had more kills than any other nationality during the defense of the British isles, a symbolic revenge if there ever was one.
Greetings from North Carolina, USA! While Sabaton may use actors in their music videos, the videos are NOT from a movie. They may use archival footage, but if you continue on your Sabaton journey, you will discover that their music videos are next-level good - so much so they are mistaken for movies! Please do NOT apologize for the tears! You are a lovely couple and I appreciate watching your reactions! As a warning, there are many more of their songs that will cause tears and Sabaton presents these stories in a thoughtful and respectful manner. Please continue with Sabaton !
On August 1st 1944 at 5PM, the brave people of Poland stood up to their Nazi occupiers and said "NO MORE!" God bless all of those brave souls who fought for their freedom. I am proud to say that I am 1/4 Polish!
Sabaton has this great way of both making you interested to learn more about the stories they tell and making you proud for the country and people they sing about even if they are not your people. They are just amazing. Enjoying your reactions to them. Keep it up!
Actually this is an official Music Video but the props and chlotes were rented for the band because at that time the Shindler's List was in production in Poland. The actor you are talking about came speacialy in Poland for the Music Video. I f you want to know more about the Musiv Video, I recomand you to watch both Sabaton History videos about the Uprising. The first part is about the History it self, and the second part is about other Uprising and about the making of the Music Video. And just for your viewing pleasure, watch the live version of the song at Woodstock in Poland
Love ur reactions. Sabaton is an amazing band from Sweden. And all their song is about war and heroism. They have a entire album about the raise and fall of the Swedish empire. MANY songs about WW2. Will follow ur reactions with great interest.
Hi, I'm from Poland and I've heard about Sabaton before, but I only got really interested in them 2 years ago. Since then, I love Sabaton and I like almost all the songs. I really was and am impressed with their commitment to making songs about history so that more people in the world would know about past events. The music of course also does a great job because Sabaton is able to match the melody and arrangement to the topic. Of course, I am happy that they have so many songs related to Poland :D
They are an amazing band. All their music is based on wars through history, the videos are amazing, and the raw energy they give is powerful. Enjoy them
This video is made for the song, its no from a movie, Joakim in the begining with a Polish flag said "Warsaw Rise!". If you want to see the history behind the song they have a chapter in the sabaton history channel. Another songs about Poland (40:1, Aces in Exile, Inmate 4859).
Great reaction. Sending you hugs guys:) Greetings from Poland btw:) Częstochowa here :) Would be great if you would check live version of this song from polish Woodstock festival where thousands of people scream "Warszawo walcz!". Totally different vibe, more uplifting I guess :) And from the same festival please check song 40:1. Someone in the comments already explained what is it about :)
Sabaton can really makes you feel proud, even if it's not related to your country. I do feel the sense of pride in this song as well, even though I'm Dutch and have no ties to Poland at all. It really doesn't matter about which event they sing, whether it's Swedish history, Scottish, Polish or Belgian, the sense of pride for people fighting for their country is there. It's impossible to not get emotional with Sabaton so don't promise to not cry. And Sabaton has said "There are so many stories in history we can sing about, why would we make up stories ourselves if we can tell the stories that happened?"
Hi. Great reaction with tears of/on history. Sabaton has this thing in their songs, that you can feel proud over other countries when the music blends with the lyric. They said -why should we make up stories for songs when there is actual stories to tell.
It is more then ok to cry, to Sabaton song in general and to this video especially if you have polish roots. Btw the video is specially made for this song. It has some famous actors in it, for example the german commander is played by a Swedish Hollywood actor called Peter Stormare who volunteered to do this.
I think your emotion really boost the value of the video! Your response belongs to you and is totally valid, as one member of your audience I want to let you know you never need to apologize to me for an emotional response!
Im learning with you,i found sabaton last week i love it❤ And you 2 there are no words so sweet open and genuine, one of my favourite reactingchannels,no show just a human aproch. Thanks😊
This was a really nice and honest reaction from a song of an important and sad part of the Polish history 👍👍! Do not forget to check out the live version of this song, rocorded at the Woodstock festival in Poland !!! Regs from Sabaton-land - Sweden/Kent
Each time I watch this song I have got shivers. Especially the live ver from Woodstock. I can see you watched it but did not get it recorded? A pitty, I would gladly cry with you one more time 😊
Seeing Dominika crack a smile at the line "Warszawo, walcz!" brought a smile to me, cause I could tell that line resonated with her as a Polish person. Having Polish in my heritage, that line gives me goosebumps every time I listen to the song. Sabaton does an excellent job at flushing out the untold stories and glossed over events that are overshadowed by larger events.
Okay let me say this once and for all, don't ever feel the need to apoligize for crying or showing other emotions, a lot of Sabaton songs makes my Eyes watery, even when they have nothing to do with my Country.
The two of u are so real and great ... would love 40:1 song but live from Woodstock Poland it will bring some emotion from u Dominika (hope I spell your name right) thanks for reactions
Most sad in this story is that Stalin didnt allowed to help Warsaw ("Allies trun away", "Help had never camed"). THis vidwo was created especialy for this song with this actors, man playing Polish officer is real Polish Nato officer.
Just came across your channel a few days ago when you first did Sabaton. Wonderful channel you have. Very frank and honest. I love history and have done all my life and Sabaton encourages me to explore other avenues. You were right when you say they tell stories - and their theme is war related down the ages - and you can learn a lot from them and in many ways gets you to glean more info from TH-cam and/or go and get a book, as I have done on occassion. Indeed, when I first saw 'No Bullets Fly', I bought the book that was written on the subject. Well worth a read: 'A Higher Call' by Adam Makos. Another commentator was right, you need to watch 'Christmas Truce' - in my mind one of the BEST songs they have done. Now my favourite melody for Christmas - reminds you of what Christmas is really about.
It IS the Video which was made for the Song. Sabaton asked the Actor (cant remember his name ;) if he is interrested in playing the part of the german city commander of Warsaw
Sabaton makes great music and somehow it's amazing that you cry when you listen to them. They know the facts of what has happened in different wars. All the horrors that have happened to nations and individual feats. I have to admit that a tear came to the corner of my eye when I saw your reaction.
Oh jesteś z Polski! Super zaskoczenie.
Pozdrawiamy! 😊

It's all original video (might be some archive WW2 footage in the beginning). The German Generalis played by swedish big Hollywood actor Peter Stormare and they got several big name Polish actors into it as well. I think Warsaw city help fund the video
history is easy to learn but hard to feel. sabaton make us feel the history wich is really cool. and from a swedish guy or not a polish guy they make me feel pride for the polish, because they offer them self to fight something so wrong :) love your reaction :) and the crying is from feeling and feeling is part of consuming music :)
Sabaton are masters of pulling heartstrings with their music. As often commented, they make you feel patriotic for countries you have no connection to. And don't apologize for your emotions! We've all been there when watching Sabaton. More suggestions are "Night Witches" (animated story version), "Christmas Truce" (end credits by Floor of Nightwish, married to Sabaton drummer Hannes) and "En livstid i krig" (a lifetime of war) in Swedish, live from Gothenburg. /Greetings from Sweden, home of Sabaton! 🤘😎🤘
for more Polish Sabaton songs you must watch 40 to 1 and inmate 4859. also the Sabaton history channel . there they give historical background and bit on how they went about making the songs. EDIT winged hussars is about the siege of Vienna which was broken by among other the polish winged hussars not in Poland but polish, then Aces in exile about polish pilots in 303 Squadron during ww2/EDIT
then we have the many other dealing with horrors of war, many of whom have made veterans cry, To hell and back, Soldier of heaven, En livstid I krig live from Göteborg Sweden , in Swedish but there are subtitles , so turn on captions and prepare for the hard feelings, just this line hirs hard but is not even hardest hit in the lyrics. "Just a youth, barely a man when duty called me If i get to see my home again, that I do not know" the videos of Bismark and Christmas truce are mini movies. then we have Animated STORY videos No bullets fly (which you have done) Night witches and again I hope you are aware of the Sabaton history channel here on TH-cam, there they give historical background and bit on how they went about making the songs
You know what guys, please do bawl your eyes out if that it what the song makes you feel! I know for a fact that Sabaton has the power to make you feel all kinds of emotions and you know what? It's okey! I mean, this is a "REACTION" what kind of reaction would it be if you couldn't show your true emotion? I think that is why alot of us are here, to see if other people/humans feel or react the same way as I/we do when we hear these songs. So please remain true to what you are feeling, there is no shame in that! And btw I love how sensible you are to her pain (sorry, I don't know you names yet) Keep doing what you do and keep showing those emotions and please please keep going with Sabaton!
Don't be sad you cried - it hits your heart. This is part of your history and an important story - a story not often told outside of Poland. Try "Winged Hussars" - you'll love it.
Love Sabaton you learn alot from them they have a history channel. Have a look at Christmas Truce, The Price of a Mile, The Unkillable Soldier, En Livstid I Krig. There are so many to pick from. Enjoying your channel loads.
I have been to Poland twice, both times I was at the Museum. Poland's Museum is the best I've been to. I recommend everyone who goes to Poland to go to their museum. One thing I can't get over is that the brave Poles could have been saved by the Soviets being outside and could have helped the insurgents but they stopped so the Nazis could put down the insurgency. Although it gave the Germans an opportunity to prepare before the Soviets attacked them. Almost another Molotov/Ribbetrop betrayed Poland.
It is NOT silly to cry, its hard hitting, they teaching the world about what happened, its powerful.
TE ŁZY SĄ MODLITWĄ....ilekroć słucham nie da się nie płakać

Jesteś wspaniała. Bądź dumna z tych ludzi
Dominica i am polish too... also I know well history of Poland. Big thank you for this material.
Warszawo walcz - Warsaw keep fighting 👊👊👊
Okay let me say this once and for all, don't ever feel the need to apoligize for crying or showing other emotions, a lot of Sabaton songs makes my Eyes watery, even when they have nothing to do with my Country.
Dziękuje za tą reakcje. ❤
The two of u are so real and great ... would love 40:1 song but live from Woodstock Poland it will bring some emotion from u Dominika (hope I spell your name right) thanks for reactions
Thank you! And yes, you did spell it perfect! All the best! 😊
Most sad in this story is that Stalin didnt allowed to help Warsaw ("Allies trun away", "Help had never camed"). THis vidwo was created especialy for this song with this actors, man playing Polish officer is real Polish Nato officer.
Oh, you should've watched the live version... Another great reaction!
When listening to Sabaton, you should equip yourself with tissues. Sabaton songs tell about wars and wars cause a lot of tears.
Kocham twoją reakcje, i jak by trzeba było my też za Polskę oddamy wszystko 💪🇵🇱💪
You guys are so cute and loving, keep up loving each other
Just came across your channel a few days ago when you first did Sabaton.
Thank you for your beautiful words! 😊
It IS the Video which was made for the Song. Sabaton asked the Actor (cant remember his name ;) if he is interrested in playing the part of the german city commander of Warsaw
The actors name is Peter Stormare.
Dziękuję za Twoją reakcję.Pozdrowienia z Warszawy ❤️❤️❤️
U should react to their song inmate 4859,plus sabston history about that song, its about one polish hero
Very good reaction again. It´s time for you to check Sabaton live. Start with "En livstid i krig" live from Gothenburg, Sweden.
This video is a clip made especially for this song. In the film, fictional fragments are intertwined with newsreels from the Uprising
Bless you two~you are so sweet!
Joakim, the singer has a very personal relationship with poland. His mother came from Poland to Sweden in the 50s or 60s
I'm pretty sure she's from the Czech Republic, not from Poland.
@@SwedishWarGoat. Pardon, you are right! for some reason i was sure she was from Poland. Mea Culpa
The singer of Sabaton is swedish-czech origin btw.
Thanks a lot!
to nie film, zwyczajnie udało się zatrudnić aktorów do teledysku - dziękuję
for more Polish Sabaton songs you must watch 40 to 1 and inmate 4859. also the Sabaton history channel . there they give historical background and bit on how they went about making the songs.
"Just a youth, barely a man when duty called me
If i get to see my home again, that I do not know"
the videos of
Bismark
and
Christmas truce
are mini movies.
then we have Animated STORY videos
No bullets fly (which you have done)
Night witches
and again I hope you are aware of the Sabaton history channel here on TH-cam, there they give historical background and bit on how they went about making the songs
You really must watch Sabaton history Channel where they go a little bit deeper about the subjekt of every song.
Great reaction, Again!
Thank you for your lovely words! 😊
Its there music video. Not a movie.
Uprising live Woodstock would be fun for u to Watch
Ona to czuje, jak każdy z nas
Sabaton "Night witches" animated story
Never apologise for feeling emotional when listening to Sabaton. ❤
Every hero should be named 🤘😜🤘🏴
Hello," Aces in exile" sabaton song about polish pilots in the battle of Britain
1:35 before I see your reaction, please, let me express my best regards.
And now, let's get to the music.
If you did not hear it yet Sabaton have a history YT Channel that tell history about each of they Songs 👍😀.
It's your country s history, you cry as much as you like
All the tears flow.❤
