Is the Cub a good plane to learn to fly in?

The cub was originally designed as a trainer. They are a very docile plane and the lower horsepower cubs like the J3 would be a perfect plane to learn in.

Super! Is there a turbine option? Gas is too expensive and not easily available where I live.

gas is too expensive so you want a turbine??? Yeah, Jet A is cheaper, but any turbine is gonna use a TON more fuel per hour than a piston engine would. Not easily available I can understand, but not price. Not to mention the cost of the turbine itself...

@@fastfox23 I agree with you. Firstly in India Jet A is $0.6 and 100 LL $ 1.27. Secondly, acquiring it is very very difficult and supplies are unpredictable.

@@mickeysinghbongo If petrol / gasoline available at airports, consider Honda / Suzuki or any automotive converted engines. For turbines with 250 Shp PBS engines are available
