Thanks for the video. My kia was dead this morning cause it's been a cold weekend and tried to start was not enough power to turn the motor over. So I have a cheap jumper cables that had been jumping for 30 minutes and still couldn't get a good charge. So I was looking at the HF site and saw this gadget, read the reviews and then turned on the TH-cam and watched your video. Thanks for taking the time to make it. So I did buy one and the kia work car started just fine this evening and it still gonna be cold, so I have no worries. I like watching a video like yours cause can see the users experience.
Yes sir, you are welcome. I’m glad it worked good for you! I try to keep the videos short and get to the point for everyone. I was definitely impressed with how well it starts things as if they were never dead at all. Definitely worth the money in my mind. Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I plan on doin more reviews and things in the future!
Thanks for testing this! I just purchased one of these from HF on a whim and wondered if anyone actually used these with success. Apparently, it works great! Thanks! P.S. For those that have complained their units won't charge, give it a min...Make sure you are actually using the adapter and it's powered. (Some people will plug-into a wall and it may not be live, so try another receptacle.) HF will gladly exchange a failed unit.
Thank you for the interesting input. I still use mine quite often and still have had no issues. So I can only vouch for my personal experience with it and hope everyone has the same luck as me, and if not I hope they are able to replace it.
That is an awesome idea. I never even thought of that. I can see how that would be extremely helpful pulling parts at a junk yard. Trying the window motors or anything like that. Very awesome. Thank you for sharing!
I got one today with the 25$ off 100$ coupon (i purchased something else). Anyways i plan on keeping her in the dry box on the boat and with me when im out on the 4 wheeler. Always worried about a dead battery when im outside of cell service in the woods or on the water. Just a nice little piece of mind, nice to see it start these larger car engines you had with no issues as my boats a 3.0l 2 stroke v6. Thanks for the video!
Good deal. Sounds like a good place to have one for sure. I do recommend making sure it’s fully charged before goin out. I’ve never tested how long they hold charge sitting around. Happy Boating!
Going to pick one of these up today, its supposed to be below 0 this coming week with a windchill of -30 for 4 days straight so id rather be safe than sorry. 👍👍👍
Absolutely. I’m impressed with it so far. I don’t know about long term storage. Would definitely take it out and check to make sure it’s always charged. I know when it’s charged up they are very impressive! Thank you for watching and sharing that with me!
@@ControlTouchMaster thank you for watching and thank you for commenting. I’ve never tried it on a V8. It worked so well on the V 6s that I had used it on. I’m sorry it did not work well for you.
Question, I just bought this today and the manual says to charge immediately after purchase. I plugged it in to charge and no lights are turning on the battery pack. Wondering what your experience was with this? Is it possible that the one I just bought is defective?
If I remember correctly it should light up how many lights are on to indicate how charged it is. Maybe yours is already completely charged. If you press the button it should light up the indicator showing 100% charged. If nothing shows at all there very well could be something wrong with it. If it is faulty they should give you your money back or exchange for another one. I hope this helps. Thank you for sharing.
If you really want to test one of these things no matter what brand it is or how much the amperage is test it on a V-Twin Harley-Davidson motorcycle like a Road Glide or one of the big bikes if it'll turn that over it'll turn over any car, compression ratios on these motorcycles are much higher than cars
That’s really interesting. The biggest thing I’ve tryed it on so far was a built high compression 302 mustang. It worked flawlessly,I’m not around bikes much to try that out. Thank you for the input!
I am not sure why but the manual states to NOT connect the black to the negative terminal. It states the black cable should be hooked to the chassis only. Thoughts?
Ok. So I found a video from harbor freight which shows them hooking both cables right to the battery. It also shows them storing it in the glove box. Both of those are forbidden in the manual. Haha. th-cam.com/users/shorts7QW6agd_rWc?si=i61kBU5evEkIu_eC
We have since purchased one, and I always connect black to car body to ground. Also depending on battery status this device would need to be recharged each time I used it.
How many mAh?? 1600A version says 18,000mAh. I wonder if this is smaller? A 20,000mAh portable charger at walmart cost 20$. They could have made it a little bigger imo
I’m sorry to hear that! I’ve used mine multiple times since this video and haven’t had any problems. I really hope you are able to get your money back. I apologize if I led you in the wrong direction. I’m very happy with mine!
@@titothefandito2748 I didn’t review the video so you might be correct about me not pressing the clutch. However with or without it I still had no dash light or anything at all. I already knew it was in fact completely dead before filming. Thank you for watching and thank you for commenting.

I mainly use this for the junk yard when I’m pulling seats out. It’s amazinggggggg

Ohhh .... That would be game changer. Can't sneek in a normal sized jumper pack but this could be hidden
i work at chrysler and had a 6.7 cummins last week that started right up with this little thing, badass forsure
Wow. I never would have thought that. Pretty Amazing little thing! Thank you for sharing

Kool, I got 3 of them in a different brand. They work great
I had one of those. It worked great on my Jeep Patriots 2.4L engine; however, it didn’t work well on my Ford F150’s 5.4L Triton engine.

You'll need the 2000 amp version to properly supply anything bigger than a V6.
@@specialboy7809 thank you!
Had mine 4 months use 2 times now don't work want get another HB

I would check the connection, I had charger hooked up wrong. Using USB in/out instead of C connection on side.
Hope this helps😊
Yes, defective just like mine, exchange it
Same thing happened to me .gonna return it today.firat one I got the clamp broke
what is the charging time to get to 100%?

I liked the video and it's the only one i could find. For the ladies, could you show the actual hook up to battery? Please😊
Red to red(positive), black to black(negative)

Says 38.5 amp hours so its like 7,000 mah at 5v
My issue is the External Relay. That's left over from the early jump packs, this is 2024 and they need to get it together
Bought one today & it won’t even charge up. Sorry, ya had one chance & ya failed.

Mine too
Harbour freight just lost a near 5K in needed new shop machines & goods over a f’kd up 100$ gadget. Good job harbour freight.
Lol @@paulbalogh4582
Take it back and go for the next unit that's all did you charge up the pack when you took it out or did you just buy it and take it to the car
Fraud. You didn't disengage the clutch the first attempt. That battery wasn't dead
