I'm 73 and my sister will soon be 70. We grew up on our Grandparents' farm in WV in the 50's.. the old ways just stuck with me.. their saving, use it up standards are just part of who I am. I don't think I realized how much so until my sister made fun of me for washing/reusing freezer and storage bags.. she said that I didn't have to do that because they had money to buy more.. lol
@@Linnie1021 I'll be 65 and I guess I do the very same thing. I realized it when I'd washed the same freezer bag out for the 3rd or 4th time...BUT...I still used it. I just taped a note to throw it away after this use. If I don't; at least I might remember to buy a new box.
This is a fantastic school bus makeover. Great job. Love your style. It's great to see people reusing things and upcycling like this. It's a great idea putting the commode outside of the bus too.
Now THAT is a tiny one I can stand up for! Very clever re-purposing of just about everything, and best of all; it looks comfortable! How often does that happen? Most old school busses are sent to Central America to be used up and dumped with shocking rapidity, so they should be available and cheap if you can intercept them before they go.
Oh dear... If they can find an open space, it could be repurposed as unique camp site. It will be really helpful to bring awareness of recycling to people. They will be able to see what can they do with waste.
I like the mirror outside the shower. This is so cool! I could see this for helping homeless and what not too. Use what we have to make a small encampment. Love it!
I call this gourmet living, as true gourmet cooking came from making beautiful and delicious food from what was available! Bravo, young lady take a bow.
Pretty cool Skoolie B&B! I love its unique 'driver's cab' shower stall, interior layout, and whimsical decor from the 70s. The outdoor area with covered deck, driftwood, outhouse, etc. all well done. Jenny
many bus/van houses like this try to fit everything a normal house has into such a small space. I love that this house only has what you need and has had so much thought put into the smallest details. very nice

I would love to take some time and go to Canada so I can stay at this Unique Beautiful B&B. How long would I stay, now that's the problem, Lol. She's done an amazing job. I'm so much to get my FJ cruiser paid off so I can find me a pickup to haul a RV or get a schoolie which are hard to come about finding one on the FB market place. I have 5 more payments left on it and I'm barely getting by with the job I have to get it paid off. Been looking and found some but it's too early to look when you don't have the money. I hope your New Years goes well for you and we can keep in touch.

Fantastic imagination and on top if it …reusing stuffs! Love the Cuban style very present in the colours, the fact that it is so inviting to go there. Love the counter top with pennies, this Dicken heating system seems to work well. The deck is cosy. Very nice blue paint although it was a lot of work in the composting toilet. As usual folks you present a colourful and very nicely pictured video. Thanks

thanks, enjoyed this and she was quite thorough in explaining it all - *except* for the roofing over the bus! this would seem important, as it can keep the summer temperatures more comfortable. It would be good to know what she chose to do it with, given her concept of sustainable use. Just a suggestion...
