Sometimes players are met w real adversity for the 1st time(playing against elite comp/having their 1st real injury etc) and can't overcome it. Sometimes they end up on terrible franchises. Wide variety of reasons why potential can't miss guys don't hit big.

As a Cards fan, it was a bummer that Nkemdiche didn't pan out. I remember thinking he would be Dockett 2.0, but unfortunately it always seemed that football wasn't his priority once he got into the NFL. He is a good dude by all accounts, but he just didnt have that dawg in him that the previous guys that wore 90 for the Cardinals did.

The hype around Nkemdiche was crazy, I remember watching some of high-school tape and everyone was buzzing about where he would go. Almost everyone thought he was gonna help shake things up in the SEC to give the Alabamas, UGAs and LSUs a rub for their money....but obviously that never happened. Kinda bizarre it just fell flat like that but I guess that's what a poor work ethic leads too.

I'd love to see this guy do a video on NFL teams that have started out 12-0 or better and how they ended up...

As both A gator fan as well as A buccaneers fan I can't even begin to describe how PUMPED I was when we Drafted Vernon Hargraves.(I was literally cheering!) Idk wtf happened when he got to the NFL though it did seem like the dude's body just started betraying him. I really thought though initially that he was going to be legendary...

My hs recruiting class, I’m old lol. We played Grayson in the the playoffs one year and Nkemdiche was lined up across from me. Dude was an absolute freak. Sad to see his career pan out the way it did.

This was my sophomore year and our RB was #61 in the nation in rushing yards. He had over 2,300 yards and 28 tds. Derrick Henry was #1 with over 4,000 yards and 58 tds in one season.

I’m from Northwest Indiana, about an hour from Laquon Treadwell’s HS, Crete Monee. Laquon was a very good basketball player but his decision to not run track combined with his broken leg hurt him. If he had the breakaway burner speed, he would have been the total package WR.
