I love that your walks are about taking in nature and scenery and not about proving something to others. It’s very refreshing.

I've camped 🏕 up on Mount Skidaw. Lovely place never saw a red squirrel though.

Way back in the 1960's Hollows farm was a Youth hostel. I stayed there when I was a teenager.

I love valley walks too - streams, statuesque trees, moss and blueberry? carpet and the beautiful panorama.
As ever, nicely videoed, Abbie 👌

I had no idea that Bluebells might take that long to settle in to their environment. Fun little info bites, thanks Abbie.

Excellent, rewarding, low level walk, did exactly the same one a couple of years ago (also made up). The walk along Watendlath Beck was the highlight.

Watendlath is just lovely - it was great to spot the little dipper in the stream!

Borrowdale is probably my favourite area of the Lakes so it was a real treat to get a little tour. I've hiked up to Watendlath Tarn once in the dim and distant past - it felt like a stiff little hike back then! - but I really like the loop you made and would totally do that next time. Thanks for bringing us along!

Great walk as always, thanks Abbie. Nice to see the low level walks still give the solitude needed👍🏻

Lovely walk Abbie, I agree that Skiddaw is a ‘beast of a mountain’ we hiked it along with ‘Little man’ with our daughters back in May

it's nice that you save some warm weather hikes to upload during the winter months. i personally love getting a good dose of greenery when everything is so gray and drab out. happy trails :)

I find lower level walks can be equally as good as hill climbing, obviously depending on the location.

I do appreciate your informative narration as you go. Better that than distracting music. I've seen many videos an hour in duration with absolutely NO dialogue, which is odd!!! I would rather hear nature sounds (even if dubbed in), than nothing at all. I look forward to more viewing on the coming weekend, thank you. Cheers from Canada.
