***** i know what a budget is. And i can tell you that Toei animation doesn't put that much budget and effort that we're led to believe. They're doing the same for "One piece" atm. Some episodes you get a really good animation, and some others are just neglected, and you don't have to be a pro to notice that. I personally believe that they're using this strategy to preserve budget while trying not to disappoint their fans. They also know that the fans will still watch and buy their products when it concerns successful series such as DBZ and One Piece.
+Sam S.I. Animation quality actually has more to do with the director and appropriate time spent animating the episodes. Fuji TV is funding and planning One Piece so that's why the budget is crap and they get so little time to work on the episodes. On the other hand another reason why the art and animations fluctuate so much is because they switch up the directors.

***** i know what a budget is. And i can tell you that Toei animation doesn't put that much budget and effort that we're led to believe. They're doing the same for "One piece" atm. Some episodes you get a really good animation, and some others are just neglected, and you don't have to be a pro to notice that. I personally believe that they're using this strategy to preserve budget while trying not to disappoint their fans. They also know that the fans will still watch and buy their products when it concerns successful series such as DBZ and One Piece.
+Sam S.I. Animation quality actually has more to do with the director and appropriate time spent animating the episodes. Fuji TV is funding and planning One Piece so that's why the budget is crap and they get so little time to work on the episodes. On the other hand another reason why the art and animations fluctuate so much is because they switch up the directors.
