The aesthetic is a bad argument for choosing the carbon. The carbon is superior because it is lighter, thinner, faster, more stable on high speeds and protects the battery by keeping it internal, aesthetics is the least of the reasons.
@@coolstar2398 can’t say of the ride on AT wheels. Carbon is thinner (maybe faster for this), stiffer (again - depending on layup), and sure looks nice. Great review, but can't help but feel it's incomplete. How fast does it charge? How easy is it to take it on public transport or carry it somewhere that doesn't allow skateboards? How big is the charger for if I wanted to take it for a long ride and charge along the way?
charging takes 2-3 hours depending on how dead the board is can easily fit on a bus or train. if a place doesnt allow skateboards, i can't answer that question for you. charger is a normal-sized brick.

the revel kit you should try it its insane for the price
I like a skateboard to look like a skateboard. This looks like a sports car. That being said, to each their own
I love both my Evolve GTR’s... bought the Carbon first after I watched your review among other, since then I’ve also bought the Bamboo. My Carbon has the light Blue 97 mm wheels currently equipped, Bamboo has the 6” AT tires with dark blue hubs. I also have the 107’s and a second set of 97’s and two sets of 7” AT tires. Can’t wait to try the 107’s once I get back from deployment. Could you do a review of the Bustin V2 Sportster X+? That’s another board I own and I love it as well, you don’t see that one often reviewed on TH-cam compared to Evolve and other boards. Bustin is located out of NYC too.
Keep up the great work Sam.
You should look at backfire long board they are basically the same think but they have many boards to choose from and they are very cool to ride you should try the galaxy g2 board for starters I highly recommend trying it out
What are your thoughts on the backfire Zealot Sam? Have you taken one for a spin? Possible review that board👀.... I have one myself and ride in nyc getting between 20-23 miles of range per charge hitting a consistent 27/28 mph!
Thanks for the video and review! How about looking at the Lacroix Lonestar or one of the smaller ones. I see many picking these up in San Francisco.
Sam the man is back!
awesome bro! were u with us friday night? u make me wanna buy another carbon!
Please take a look at the Evolve Stoke!
You should take a look at Backfire Boards
YOU SHOULD TRY THE BACKFIRE G3 plus
hi sam I think you would like the Lacroix jaws or nazare With a flipsky Boosted type remote. And the jaws is only $500 more but the build quality is amazing.I have the GTR bamboo previously had a Boosted v2.Wish I knew about the jaws before I purchased the gtr.Great to see you back on the board.👍😎
Been seeing this on your story was waiting for you to do a video on it
Hope you enjoyed it!
Sam Sheffer I did I’m from Boston and you make me wanna get one and ride all day, do you enjoy the super 76 bikes or just longboards
Sam Sheffer 👀EXWAY FLEX RIOT👀
What sneakers are you wearing bro?
Bro, love your videos!!
love your vids Sam. you should chat to some of the guys in NY that build diy boards. Those things are absolutely nuts. Another company would be either BioBoards or Trampa
You should check out the dot board!!!
Great video! Curious as to if you have ever tried the EOVAN GTS carbon pro and see how it stacks up next to evolve’s carbon. These are two of the boards I am trying to decide between. Thank you.
Check out the Halo Carbon Edition electric longboard. The 2nd edition adds reverse and its about half the price
check out the backfire mini! its also carbon fiber
Have a look at the new Wowgo AT2 which according to early reviews match or beat the Evolves, especially in price but of course not in terms of support. Also features smart turn on of the board from the remote and a scroll wheel.
Have you heard of Bustin hybrid electric boards? I'm thinking about ordering one but would love to see your review before I buy, to see if they're as good as they seem.
Great review, but can't help but feel it's incomplete. How fast does it charge? How easy is it to take it on public transport or carry it somewhere that doesn't allow skateboards? How big is the charger for if I wanted to take it for a long ride and charge along the way?
charging takes 2-3 hours depending on how dead the board is
can easily fit on a bus or train. if a place doesnt allow skateboards, i can't answer that question for you.
charger is a normal-sized brick.
I work in Seattle and I've been using an electric scooter for my commute - I have to navigate curbs, crowds, and lots of rain - do you think an eboard would work in this environment or should I stick with scooters?
