Literally the best review of this laptop, I was going to buy this as I found this laptop and no data is available as it is not so popular. All doubts got cleared and thank You very much.
@@Jetha_mamu Don't go for the MacBook, unless you are just a professional Corporate guy, who doesn't have much to explore.. my suggestion is that, get a windows machine. If you don't need the touchscreen (as you mentioned to buy the MacBook, which isn't the touchscreen), then you'll probably get much better specs than the IdeaPad 5, but if you prefer a touchscreen, then go for it. Also it comes with 512 GB/ 1 TB storage, while the MacBook comes with 256 GB (& 512 GB too but that varient is costlier).
The macbook has a better screen but no touchscreen support for stylus use. They are very different devices IMO. It depends how deep you're in the apple ecosystem. If you're just dipping your toes, I'd suggest giving windows a try first.
May I ask you for an advice? I have a MacBook Pro and like to reduce my time on it by watching TH-cam, learning to draw or watch movies on a second laptop and I am thinking about this one. Or the Surface Laptop go 3, or the Samsung Galaxy Book 3...do you have an opinion to these?
I just ordered this laptop and I’m excited. My old laptop was 2017 MacBook Pro 13. Im not sure if this is a upgrade or not but it’s the best I could afford right now.
Hey mate!! M looking forward to purchase the one.. but there's a doubt!! I read it has 60hz refresh rate only!! Is it worth enough.!!? I mean does that bother user interface.. or I can enjoy my coding nd light gaming experience..?!
Hello, I am reaching you from Turkey. I really liked the introduction video of the computer. I couldn't find the introduction video in our country, so I have a few questions. I will use software programs such as Visual Studio - SQL I will do simple video editing. I will not do 3D Modeling. I will do simple adding and deleting operations with Camtasia. I will use Adobe Photoshop. I want a long charging time. Do you think this computer is good for these features?
When I use the idea pad in „tablet mode“ do the keys of the keyboard get damaged when I have the idea pad on the table or is there any kind of protection like some rubber bumpers?
hi, would you recommend this laptop for graphic design student ? I usually use Adobe Illustrator but also I want to do simple video editing in the future
Hi! I bought the Ryzen 7 8845 version. I work with audio production. I’ve been using it since one day. I don't know if this model gets very hot (especially when charging) or if it's a problem with my unit. I don't want to say "Wow, I can't use the keyboard or touch the laptop", but unlike my girlfriend's laptop (a Dell Latitude), I feel that it gets warmer, especially in the middle area just below the screen. That's where the cooler is with the air outlet at the back.
It's pretty normal with these thinner laptops at this price point. Especially with that Ryzen 7 being such a capable CPU. If you want better cooling, you're looking at a 20% price premium potentially.
@@MOBHouse thanks! I think I'm fine with the temperature, but I have a a super annoying problem: I’m a music producer and I use the laptop with my audio interface (Antelope Zen Go). I have audio glitches and pops all time when I’m using it with battery. The only way to solve it is using laptop connected to the AC adapter (which takes away the portability of the notebook). I’ve tried everything but the problem is still there. (Update drivers, Windows Update, flashing the audio interface cpu and firmware, restarting the audio services). I even tried 4 different USB cables to rule out this problem. I don’t know what to do… I talked to Lenovo premium care to open a support case, but I think I will have to return the equipment if it does not work for that use. If you think there is any other solution, I would appreciate it before making the return and requesting a refund.
Yep! They are almost the same The main difference is that IdeaPad has ryzen 5 8645hs and Yoga has ryzen 5 8640hs The ideapad is newer and costs 10k less than Yoga here in India.
Thank you for the video, it was really useful, you deserve more subscribers! Just a question, does anybody know if it can run linux without driver issues?
hi my friend, I'm not very expert, I'm buying this laptop and I wanted to ask for the display 14" WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200), IPS, non-anti-glare, touch, 45% NTSC, 300 nits, 60 Hz, glass, is it glossy or matte??thank you for your time
Is the battery life seriously that good ? I mean for a powerful processor in a compact thin and light chassis with just 57 Whr it’s unbelievable. Also the build is full polycarbonate or does it have some metal bits like lid and other parts. Bcoz it’s 2 in 1 laptop the hinges should be strong I hope
It's very good if you're coming from a laptop 2 gens ago. When compared to some modern examples, it's middle of the pack. Maybe a bit over the middle. Some of them come with 60-70+Wh batteries these days.
@@MOBHouse I just ordered this exact model, but the pen is a €10 option. At least when shopping from the Netherlands. Maybe they included it in other countries...?
@@Mani-oh6dl We'll see. If all goes well it will arrive within the hour. Anyway, knowing my daughter the second pen will come in handy as I'm sure she will lose it sooner or later :) Edit: It just arrived. No extra pen, good thing I ordered one.
Depends on the complexity of your work. If I'm not mistaken, catia and solid works use GPU acceleration so you might want something with a dedicated GPU.
Please can you answer these two questions, the first: NTSC is 45%, but is it really that bad? Can you enjoy watching a movie? And the other question: Can you open the laptop with one hand ? Thank you!
Literally the best review of this laptop, I was going to buy this as I found this laptop and no data is available as it is not so popular. All doubts got cleared and thank You very much.
So, what did you decide? I'm a bit confused between this one and the MacBook Air m2.

What about the hinge quality? Is it durable?

Well... It has a touch screen. But the screen is probably not as good as the modern Macbook pro.

thank you for review
Thanks for watching!

This laptop should handle all your needs with no problem!

Which stylus do you use or with which one is it compatible?
Its free
Does it come with a world facing camera?
When I use the idea pad in „tablet mode“ do the keys of the keyboard get damaged when I have the idea pad on the table or is there any kind of protection like some rubber bumpers?
They won't really get damaged. But I'd assume if you're using it on the desk, you'd sit it up at an angle like in an A shape instead.

Yes, definitely

this is funny, i love it
It's suitable for editing videos?
The screen has a OLED, 100% HDR option for some regions.
Yes it does. But it's also more pricey.
isn't this like the exactly same as the Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 or did I miss something?
Yep! They are almost the same

What m.2 sizes are supported?
Which one is better this or hpenvy 14 with itel core 7150u both are similarly price in sale
this one
this laptop is available in an OLED panel, how much of battery life do you think it will take up?
OLED should be more power efficient. But the difference shouldn't be too drastic, especially if you're using it at higher brightness levels.

Matte bro
Would you recommend it for autocad, solidwork etc?
Autocad maybe. Solid works you might want a beefier GPU
great video! do you feel like it would be a good laptop for Uni+The sims 4?
Hm... If you wanna game at this price, you just need to deal with the extra weight and pick a gaming laptop.
Anyone knows how good does it run adobe premiere and photoshoot? :)
Photoshop great. Premiere Pro OK but I'd still get something with a discrete GPU.

W humour (kudos to script writer) but can I use this for coding in uni lvl?
I assume if can play valo can defo code and test software

Can do all that.

It's not bad but I expected better. And yes, can open with 1 hand
Is Adobe photoshop etc work well on This laptop ?
Can't complain. Works smoothly for me
excellent review. the jokes caught me off guard lol
This model has got an OLED option for UK n US market but not here in Asia. Too Bad.
Yeah man, I know that feels. They should just ship everything everywhere.
@MOBHouse what a discrimination...
What a beautiful voice 😢
Is compatible with linux
Isn't it
Technically, aren't they all
So i want to kali linux in it so will it work@@MOBHouse
Metal or nonmetal?
