Kristin always has me rolllling with her comparisons and witty remarks. Love her attitude towards these types of videos. She knows her body and is aware of how everyone else is perceiving it which lets her have a carefree judgment of herself. I love her.
I guess most of these oufits are "unflattering" because we remember our mums and grans wearing them. Someone else should re-do this video 20 years from now and try on the black wrap dress - maybe your daughter - and I'm sure she'll say "How could people ever wear a black shower curtain?"

Yes and no. Wrap dresses have been in Vogue for a while thanks to Diane Von Furstenberg using them heavily on her collections. I actually like a bunch of the outfits, just not the ones that basically told her to wear shapeless bag of fabric.

I feel like Kristin almost never knows what her size is. Like, no matter what she wears, it's either too baggy or too tight. Those bootcut jeans would have looked great if the legs had fit better in her thighs and weren't so obnoxiously long. Can we get a video where she really gets sized properly? Or finds a good alterations shop? I wear a size 5/6, but I get things tailored on occasion to get the fit I want and I feel like it would be a great option for her.

Sadly plus size clothing fits on one place, but it's either too tight or too loose on other places. I bought a pair of jeans on old navy, and waist is big, but if I go down a size is too tight. My thighs fit great on the jeans, but the calves are huge. So you have to buy the ones that are more flattering, or fit the best. So basically there's no size plus clothing that will be flattering all around for all body types.
You're obviously not fat bc it's real hard to find things that fit right when you're fat, ESP pants. It's even harder when fat bitches like me and Kristen aren't "model fat".

I'm not overweight, it's true. But that's why I suggested her getting a good tailor. I am in that in between height where petite pants are too short but regular are too long, and I like for my jackets and stuff to fit a certain way, so I found this awesome lady who does alterations and I get things more custom fit to my body. I think it would be a GREAT option Kristin, and for anyone who just wants things to fit a certain way. It's not even that expensive!

The white top I would keep with a pencil skirt, skinny jeans or leggings, for me personally, with a cardigan,bolero, or blazer. Contrast and belts are bodycon basics and still a good idea. The wrap dress would be great in a shorter length actually. =) Kristen's normal style, however, is amazing! Bottom line, people should wear what they love, confidence is great.
Those jeans really annoyed me. They weren't really bootcut, they were bell-bottom. the fact that they weren't what they were actually supposed to be mixed with the fact that they clearly weren't the right size is what made them look bad in my opinion.

AND you would need the right undergarments, which would be even harder to locate. The title oversold it, click bait, but she did well in finding as many examples as she did. (Personally, I liked her in the orange blazer.)
I wanted to hear the ridiculous idea that if you have huge shoulders on your clothes your waist will look smaller in contrast. No, you look huge all over. And are vertical lines really slimming? Or do the rules for optical illusions apply that they seem to bend outwards in the middle as some fashion experts say now? Are dark colors really slimming or is an all over pattern better? Are triangles better than rectangles of color or fabric? And why are almost all wedding dresses sleeveless when in previous years gauze made arms and other "trouble areas" less distinct? Do people think bare skin is slimming? Do four inch heels make you look slimmer or do they just make you look brainless? Fashion--because you'll believe anything. :) Maybe that's for another video. :)

I'm sorry, but I'm sick of these plus-size-Kristin videos. She's a beautiful human being, and yes, she is fat, which is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, but why are you reducing her to nothing but a plus-sized woman, Buzzfeed? She is more than her weight, okay, we all are. She should be allowed to make more non-body size related videos. Taan yari I know that this topic means a lot to her, and I'm all for it, but I kind of doubt that she ONLY wants to make these types of videos. She seems pretty into make up and beauty and stuff too, but she doesn't really get featured in those videos much. Plus, I think Buzzfeed controls the content they make... very rarely do their employees get free reign over their videos.
She's making the plus size videos for a huge target market that isn't normally discussed in a positive way. I've enjoyed her plus size fashion videos. She has other videos about other subjects, but the perils of finding clothing when you're extra curvy is a constant struggle.

A coloured dress like red with black contour on the side helps to make you look thinner too, the colour reflects the light and the black absorbs the light so it appears thinner, and verticle strips cause it makes you seem taller and thinner.

wrap dress - AWESOME!!! BELTED Jacket and slim pants - AWESOME
Kristin is just someone who looks nicer in dresses. It fits her cutesy kind of personality. I don't think I'd prefer her on anything much different if she was uncomfortable.
Stacey London would be so proud. That wrap dress on you with those shoes look great!
I also liked the belted blazer ensemble, but I would have worn a thinner neutral color belt, like beige, under the blazer and have the blazer open.

I didn't think the clothes were that bad, and they would have been even better had she/they chosen better pieces to go with the magazine "rules." And those flared jeans looked terrible because they were a TERRIBLE fit. Even a normal person would hem the jeans themselves so they didn't fall to the bottom of her feet. It wouldn't be hard to get them tailored well in the legs and waist so they look good. Ridiculous.
Except that WAS the style - hems were on the floor, making you look footless. It was supposed to make you look like your legs were longer (especially if you hid heels under there), but I always thought it looked super silly.
That said, the jeans still didn't fit her right. They should have been slimmer through the hips and thighs - they were bagging over her stomach.
@VeryNot yeah but they were seriously loose all over - they didn't fit right. That'd make anyone look sloppy.

I really liked the second outfit! I'm a solid 16 in most clothing, and that's a type of outfit I go for most often. Kristin totally rocked it!
