- Here is a good day of multi-species creek fishing I had at a new creek in Alabama! I caught all my fish on a whopper plopper 60, Nikko hellgrammite, and Eurotackle 1" EPF Swim.

Aaron, my parents lived not too far from there (on Montevallo Road) when I was hatched. Son, I am now 76 years of age, have inoperable Cancer of the liver. Your video brought back many memories and warmed this old guy's heart. I thank you for this incredible video. I hope you make many more, wherever you travel. Take heed to what Seanpattun said about fishing the "fork" for Trout. He is aboutly correct. Add the natural beauty to it and you should have an incredible time. Aaron, I hope you are sill out there, because you have picked up another loyal fan.
@@knivesgunfights526 thank you for the kind words! I live in Georgia and do most of my fishing here, but I will have to check out the “fork” next time I am in the Birmingham area.
Jdread, now that you mention it, he damn sure does.
Looks very relaxing. I haven’t fished in years.
Get some banjo minnows they work really well😊
I live in Vestavia bro, you need to go fish the sypsey fork for rainbows.
I love fishing places like this. Awsome video.
Thanks! I appreciate you watching!
Looks like you got a beautiful fishing spot there buddy! Looking forward to more videos!
Thanks! I appreciate you watching man!
Nice creek to fish in, plenty of fish in a small area
Love the old mill scene!
Thanks! I thought that was a cool little spot.
I know exactly where this is. Gonna have to try it out. If it’s still accessible
Having grown up near this creek & mill; the mill was never actually a mill. It is a residence & was originally built to be a residence & was/is built to look like a mill. It is located on Mtn. Brook Parkway in Mtn. Brook, Al & the creek is Shades Creek.
Really enjoy your content. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!! I appreciate you watching!
Longears range west of Pumkinseeds. their natural range bumps up against each other but dint overlap orignally, nice video.
The first catfish ( last vid ) looked like a flathead the one in this one looked like a bullhead, to me. Great vid bro
Ok, thanks! I appreciate you watching as always!!
sweet bro! i live right by there and fish it sometimes
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Those new size 60 ploppers work well in creeks. I'm going creek wading in the morning and im getting excited for it. 👊👍
Yeah, I bet they’re a great creek lure! Awesome!
Found your channel when Leo shouted you out, love the content! Gonna be a long-term viewer for sure. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate it!!
Is that tannehill
Nice catch 🤙🏾
I fished that creek for a few years and never caught a cat. Nice!
That first bass you caught was not a spotted bass. It has red eyes so I'm pretty sure it's a Coosa Bass. Native to Alabama Coosa river which also flows into GA a bit.
The first bass I caught was an Alabama spotted bass (not a Kentucky spot). Alabama spots can have red eyes. It’s not a coosa bass. You are correct that Coosa bass are native to the coosa river drainage, which includes much of northwest Georgia.
John sold me on the Nikko Hellgrammite long ago.
Those Long ears are beautiful fish, wish we had them around here in the French Broad River.
Thanks! I haven’t caught many longear in Georgia, but there’s a bunch of them in that area in Alabama. I wish there was more of them in Georgia too. They really are such a gorgeous fish. Thanks for watching!
Peace from San Diego, you look like Robert Redford.
First was a largemouth.
@@ricg2011 it was not a largemouth. Technically it was an “Alabama bass”, but I still just call them spotted bass because that’s what most people call them.
@@AaronsOutdoor1 You mean a Coosa?
Lol I never thought you’d end up in my hometown… I haven’t been to that mill spot in a while because I live on the creek a ways down in Homewood
Oh cool! Birmingham is definitely a nice city, and there’s some good creek fishing there!
If a Nikko hellgrammite is in the video, I'm watching!
Haha nice! Thanks for watching!
I grew up down the road from there
Nice, that's a cool little spot!
👍
At 4:00 It’s for sure a bullhead, not sure what species are there, but prolly brown or black
Looks like Mountain Brook...
What is name of that restaurant you mentioned at beginning of video?
Awesome video sir. We're was you at in Birmingham sir if you don't mind me asking? Cause I live about 20 minutes away from Birmingham and that looks like a cool place to take my wife and three kiddos to. But want to say thanks and appreciate all you do making these awesome videos for us to enjoy. Well till next's trip GodBless and Tight Lines.

Where at in Birmingham is this just wondering cuz I don’t live to far from Birmingham .

This video is dedicated to your gram. 💜
Why are you so disappointed in a catfish that was a lot better than bass
Am I not allowed to like bass fishing more than catfishing??😂
