It was absolutely OBVIOUS! His book was switched not skipped and even early on Jess said they had to do C story first and that Benedict's season will open up the world of the show, there was ZERO chance to skip him now and have him alone at his house with mom and little siblings, and come on the ending of the season had him mentioning attending THE event of his book plus his solo shot with LW voiceover, he had a neon sing on his forehead, so all the endless essays on why he was not next were laughable. I can't wait for Sophie! She is by far the best Bridgerton spouse (I still love you Kate) and her story is beautiful and unique, plus the fall setting will be beautiful after the capitol like looks of S3, I'm manifesting a Pride& Prejudice for Benophie season 🍂🍁 it will be whimsical
Regarding fans upset that is not Eloise, she was always season 5, there were ZERO clues of her being next and, it made no sense and it's better this was, there are certain things that needs to happen in order to tell her story, what I'd understand is the anger if they skip her next to do Francesca story but thats a fight for the future post season
I thought the show made it obvious that Benedict was going to be next in 3x08 elosie mentioned the masquerade ball and it showed a long close up shot of him and lady whistledown says in the narratorion look upon the future or something like that so im actually surprised people were shocked or had doubts lol

I was getting to the office, doing a work call and open Instagram and saw the annoucement and gasp I'm soo happy we will get such a great strong actor in the lead, not only cause it's Benedict's story, but also cause it will mean more doors open for Luke T Now i just hope they stick to the story,keep sideplots to the minimum and focus on them and the supporting characters the book has Like, no need for Featherigton sisters and plots for them, if Benophie has Posy and Rosamund; lets hope the Mondrich plot is done; no more boring Whisledown feuds or whatever The show is overcrowded and they need to keep it focus on the couple. It's interesting this season will have a time jump during the story, thats a cool thing to explore the time passing
They even told us Benedict doesn't have that many fans, or no one cares about him, or he's not a fan favorite etc. Then that one simple announcement, which was made of 90% reused Benedict scenes and the other 10% was Luke Thompson's 5 sec promo vid BROKE the internet😂❤❤ It got likes and views surpassing all of s3 polin content combined, even big accounts on twitter like Film Updates and Netflix accounts got hundereds of thousands of likes when the announcement was made, and were all gushing over him and fangirling just like us, all that in less than 24 hrs 😂😂 Plus, the positive reactions from the GA and casual viewers, almost everyone and their mamas is thrilled he's next (except the polins and philoises ofc). Like if there was a prize for gaslighting, those 2 subfandoms would easily win 1st place😂😂

I loved a lot of the gown's warn in the previous season's I loved Penelopy's wedding dress, but one thing I hope they focus on is the more casual wear outside of the ball's. they should make the silver dress amazing, but most of the book, and offer from a gentleman, they spend a great deal of it in the country So I wonder if they will make things a little more casual.
I'm well into adulthood, so maybe I just don't understand all of the fans being at each other's throats. Some viewers carry on something awful. And from all appearances, this cast really genuinely loves and respects each other. So they're friends on and off the set. If one likes the show, don't you like all of it? Real talk. Benedict is a delight, and I will enjoy exploring his life even more, but that shouldn't take away from the entertainment we just had. I'm glad everyone's thrilled with the news, but it's going to be a long two years if peeps are still fighting it out in the trenches of social media with alternate couples' fans. ✌️

Filming is supposed to end in April 2025 so I’m hoping for a Christmas 2025 release but it’s probably going to be February/March 2026… maybe they said it will take 2 years to cover for themselves if there are going to be any hiccups… the industry has had a tough couple of years… but for now I’m on team Christmas 2025! A girl can dream (or be delulu)!!!

The Briderton’s books are my next book series to read come September. I am currently watching the first three season on Netflix.

Eloise's character still needs to grow a little more. It is ok to wait.
