TFLnow is full of idiots so of course they would have a problem with these door handles. Go watch their review of the Acura MDX Type-S. They said the button in the rear cargo area controls the height of the air suspension. It's got nothing to do with that - it just closes the hatch as you walk away. They are really clueless and lazy when it comes to learning about these cars before they "review" them. They spout lots of erroneous information.
“People are struggling to open the door because you have to push the door with the button.” With traditional door handles, you just pull and don’t need to push the door. 😂

I own this. 9,000 miles in, I can say it has grown on me. The power is decent, rear steering is good, seats are comfy, it’s quiet on the highway. Minor issues (dash panel popping off, drivers seat ventilation fan is broken, minor stuff). Infotainment is frustrating-on CarPlay there are no dedicated buttons to get back into the Lexus interface (every other OEM has figured this out). Makes it hard to access features such as sound adjustment, radio stations etc. door handles are beyond stupid. Lock button makes no sound, no one can get out on the first try. Overall I have no real complaints, it’s great for what we use it for.
I'm friends with a Lexus rep who maintains the press vehicles. He said Lexus implemented the '500' treatment to bring in younger buyers. Instead they've found that husbands will buy them for their wives, so when they're in the car, they'll have something fun to drive. 🤣 Whereas their wives just putt-putt around in the car most of the time. So the legendary RX Smoothness is still in effect. These wives are clearly not my mom, she does everything EXCEPT 'putt putt' around in her Hellcat Durango. LOL! Thanks for posting.
Just bought one. Just drove to Florida from New Hampshire. Love the car. Averaged 27 mph. Super comfortable. Handles really well and all the power I would ever need. Yes it’s quirky opening doors. Lots of space and feature packed.

It was important for me that the screen did not stand higher than the dash board and it doesn’t. I love the feel of the seats 💺 holding you in like a hug especially when you’re turning around the corners. And yes, for me I want speed so this is perfect for my needs and also considering my husband. We got the Iridium color!
Great video TFL about the RX500h FSport. For me, I own a 2022 RX450h FSport that was among the last ones with a V6. I love the smooth power from the V6 and hybrid system when you need it, and it barely makes engine noise. Also, it has a knob for switching it to different power modes, and gets better MPG than the RX500h. I know that the 4-cylinder hybrid is it going forward but I’ll hang on to my V6 RX450h as long as I can.

My dad lives there in Marco. Keep an eye out for his 1970 all original one owner red Mercury Cougar. It was the only car fully optioned with the red paint and white interior in that model year. Love my wife’s 2019 RX350L
Great video. Love the RX Hybrids. Although they are old, up until recently we had 2 RX400hs - a 2007 and a 2008. Both bought new. Well north of 250k miles on each when we finally sold them. Finally ran out of children to hand them down to. Never an issue with either one.
This is one of the most beautiful SUV Lexus has ever created and one of the most beautiful SUV ever made in general period! The fact that it comes with Lexus reliability, luxury, technology and highest resale value is in no way any competition would even come close.
We just purchased this vehicle in Iridium with black interiors. Some of the things in this review are partially right, if you’re nitpicking. So far the driving experience and quality has been more than the minor details. But I guess to each their own. I heard the LFA comparison several times throughout the review, and glad at the end you had an insight moment where acknowledged that you cannot compare a 200k+ car with a 70k SUV.
Way too many unmercenary negative comments from the passenger seat person! Most of them are personal views and not legit for the majority of the buyers.
i recently bought a slightly used lexus dealership demo 2023 nx350h awd, and looked at the new rx, and honestly the nx is the more ideal car as it fit my garage, provided plenty of space inside and gets great mpg for a cheaper price.
My 2015 RX450h AWD is larger than the NX but smaller than the RX500h, gets better fuel economy than the RX500h because it is much lighter with nearly the same HP and torque. Mine has the v6, much better than the 4 cylinder. The RX500h is simply not worth the money. The Tesla Model X Plaid is a much better value for just a bit more $$.
Yeh but bmw can get away with it. Because they’re fast, fun to drive, luxurious, loaded with state of the art tech, lots of proper features, great chassis, etc
@@naveenthemachineyou forgot something, it has a very reliable engine light. It never fail to turn on. And yes its fun to drive to service frequenlty when it breaks. It appears that the front seats are mostly designed for domestic consumption, aka the smaller Japenese physique. I'm 6"2" with broad shoulders and find that the top bolsters ride right in the middle of my shoulder blades. It's bad enough that I just can't pull the trigger on a purchase. I found the NX seats much more to my liking.
Thanks for the review. To address the issues you brought up: if you had toggled to the "Sport" or "Sport Plus" setting you would have found tight steering and much a sportier suspension. A totally different driving experience. I have the 2020 f sport performance 450h and it's plenty sporty and tight. My other car is an M3 so I have demanding test.

The suspension on F Sport vehicles has always been too flinty and crashy and the driver's inputs steering and pedals) have always been been dead on Lexuses. Dead steering and pedal feel may be ok in a slow, soft cruiser, but I agree with Tommy that they are out of place in a powerful, hard riding vehicle. This F Sport trim is stuck between two minds and as a result is a compromised failure. Lexus needs to decide and fully commit to either traditional luxury or sportiness, not try to straddle both.

Lexus-Toyota with all the laws, downsizing and world critical problems they still make good cars. The Japanese not only make the best cars but they stepped up with the tech and overall interior art and quality.German cars might be more dynamic and some of them might be more sophisticated but they lack the reliability and the "well thought" , " well put together", " you really get what you pay for" of the Japanese cars.I am an European my self but I will always go for Japanese cars. The problem is that in Europe the full spec RX is above 100.000 euros. What Toyota, Honda and Mazda are doing now looks good for the car buyers in the next couple of years but it all depends on the wars and worldwide corruption that need to be stopped.

door to heavy screen to big seats to tight really ! if the door was light feels cheap I remember the tech screen was to small the seats are cheap no support ,give me a break!!!
If I were point out one thing I love about the new Lexuses, it'd be the climate control knobs with the temperature displayed digitally. Strange but true. I really want to love Lexus as a brand. Reliability, fit and finish. But it's just missing something for me. In the past, it was modern tech - the infotainment system. It just looked so dated! Maybe they've fixed that now? Let's hope so.
No they’re right Toyota and Lexus are complete duds compared to Honda or Acura or any other brand. Their lineup is truly subpar when put up against rival models. Thats not an opinion. That’s a universal fact You can’t name a single Toyota or Lexus that’s ranked at the top of their class. They never top other brands in any category
@@mrgurulittle7000 right… a dressed up camry on stilts is luxury since it has the same suspension design and tuning as both the camry and rav4. Same power trains from those two, and performance that doesn’t even exceed those models If a luxury car reminds you of a cheaper economy car then it’s not a luxury car. Just a logo won’t cut it. It’s about everything else. Thr suspension setup, performance, how it makes you feel, how it differentiates you from lesser brands You don’t get any of that in almost any Lexus. Brands like genesis Jeep mazda Lincoln all offer that
You literally say the same thing every time like you have a problem. And I’ve already explained to you that Lexus is more luxurious because they are tuned to drive better and they are also built with better materials and mechanical parts. Pretty much everyone knows this except you and the tiny paranoid woke anti Toyota following of yours. Just because some struts share part number with Toyota doesn’t make Lexus not premium. Lexus not being premium enough is your personal bias problem, especially when you say brands like Genesis and Jeep, (which are rebadged Hyundais and Fiats) are more luxurious than Lexus. I have to take your own quotes and apply them in my favor… “if a luxury car reminds you of a cheaper economy car then it’s not a luxury car”…I had to laugh at that statement. When do I feel like I’m driving a cheap car when driving a Lexus? The design cues are different, the ride is different, the interior is different from Toyota. I mean, if you call Jeep a “luxury brand” and Lexus a “cheap economy brand”, you need a reality and mental check. You’re right in that a badge just won’t do. And I feel the exact same way when you talk how luxurious a Hyundai car with knockoff Bentley badges is luxurious. Badges just don’t do, kid. I agree.
What part of this vehicle is shared with the camry. Not the engine. Not the transmission. Not the suspension. None of the interior. What part of this crossover is the same as the camry. Please explain.
DUD This car is a ripoff. Way over priced for what you get. Added dealer add ons are a waste of money. The Hyundai has all the options for $20k less and a far better warrantee. You want a $250 tow package? It's a requirement for all Lexus new cars. Stupid. Of course that is my option as a disclaimer, so these nasty people won't sue me. Good luck. :) JUNK
Toyota is lost… look at BZ4X! canceling Venza! Came out with the Crown Sedan 1st, if at all. The laughable Sequoia design. Most likely canceling highland soon. Prius rear door handle. RX teeny tinny brake lights. Tiny screens across the lineup, while Koreans give dual 12.3”. Non removable seats in Sienna, already looks dated. 1 light bulb functioning as both turn signal and the brake light on the grand highland. A brand new vehicle and they couldn’t give it 2 light bulbs. 🤦♀️ I could go on and on…Designs sux! 24mpg is good!? Get real.
One of the ugliest SUVs ever made. Lexus exterior designs are horrendous & I wonder if anyone buys one of these thinking that it’s actually pleasant to look at? Reliability is also never guaranteed with a new vehicle, so I don’t see the value nor appeal in this vehicle.
It's a turbo charged Rav4 Prime that's slower than a Rav4 Prime and way more expensive with poorer fuel economy. In short, just buy a Rav4 Prime; because they are almost identical anyway.

Looks like Grammy is in marco island Tell her I said hi I’m in pompano Beach about 40 minutes away from her!
Isn’t Marco Island just south of Naples? I would think you were a little further away in Pompano Beach.
They are locked in with german car mentality, they will never agree or understand that Lexus far exceeds any of german or American crap 💩
Great car and state of the art technology !! Bias video
'why not put the 3-cylinder in it?'... so wrong
I just don't like the exterior styling of this. I was hoping for something that looked better than the MDX, but it doesn't.
0:41 😢 but the fact that I am a little older
Lexus HYBRID MODEL should be like TOYOTA RAV 4 PRIME or Highlander that come with 1500ww Outlet!!!!!
Lexus used to claim, we're not a Toyota lol
Now Lexus is Toyota. Like literally it’s just a barely nicer Toyota
Too much complain for one of the best brands is the planet. Keep your German junk. Could not finish the video.
GV70/GV80 are more luxurious in my humble opinion
Totally agree.
Too bad they don't offer them in hybrid versions.
Literally anything is more luxurious than the RX. Literally anything. is likely more luxurious
GV70 infotainment is too glitchy. Also, it’s not as quiet as the RX.
24.6 for a hybrid.. that's awful
That door is not heavy
I want 500-600 horses
ACURA MDX
needs a bigger plastic grill.. 😂
That grill is so ugly. It’s a girly looking car, too. The NX is a lot meaner.
I wonder how much Honda and Acura had to pay these yahoos to beat Lexus up. Lexus and Toyota are the best cars in the world! Period.
No they’re right
Toyota and Lexus are complete duds compared to Honda or Acura or any other brand. Their lineup is truly subpar when put up against rival models. Thats not an opinion. That’s a universal fact
You can’t name a single Toyota or Lexus that’s ranked at the top of their class. They never top other brands in any category
You guys are so Whiney. Gripe, gripe gripe. I certainly wouldn’t seek any advice about a vehicle from you two.
Lexus designers should all be fired
crybabies for such a nice vehicle
No this isn’t a nice car
A Camry with lipstick wearing heels is not luxury
@@naveenthemachineIt is luxury.
@@mrgurulittle7000 right… a dressed up camry on stilts is luxury since it has the same suspension design and tuning as both the camry and rav4. Same power trains from those two, and performance that doesn’t even exceed those models
If a luxury car reminds you of a cheaper economy car then it’s not a luxury car. Just a logo won’t cut it. It’s about everything else. Thr suspension setup, performance, how it makes you feel, how it differentiates you from lesser brands
You don’t get any of that in almost any Lexus.
Please explain.
is it a stud or a dud?
It’s a dud 😂. A complete one at that
👍👍👍
Heavy im sure.
Good luck. :) JUNK
Neither can I they both must have BMW dealerships. So I can understand why there both annoying.
Dud.
Agreed. More like a complete dud
Not a "car" more like a hunchback with braces.
Get real.
Agreed. Toyotas in a mess just like infiniti. I think it’s time to accept the fact that they’re done as a brand. It happens. Brands come and go
It’s over 300 hp!
@@eleanormassaro5195 yeah but did you know that you can get 300 hp in a Toyota? And have the same 0-60 as the RX performance?
@@naveenthemachine I’m familiar with that engine in the GR Corolla, but I’m suspicious of a three cylinder turbo engine, even coming from a Toyota!
The seqioua looks good on the exterior. Only bad thing is the hump in the cargo space. Bruh
😂😂😂😂😂😂lol
One of the ugliest SUVs ever made. Lexus exterior designs are horrendous & I wonder if anyone buys one of these thinking that it’s actually pleasant to look at?
Reliability is also never guaranteed with a new vehicle, so I don’t see the value nor appeal in this vehicle.
It's a turbo charged Rav4 Prime that's slower than a Rav4 Prime and way more expensive with poorer fuel economy. In short, just buy a Rav4 Prime; because they are almost identical anyway.
very outdated
Bigger infotainment, better gas mileage, more quiet ride than GV70. And it’ll sell more. Majority likes it.
go back to korea and take ur overrated genesis crap with you
@@mrgurulittle7000 where did they mention gv70 in this comment?
@@mrgurulittle7000 the gv70 has a bigger 14.5 in screen
Even a base gv70 is as fast as the fastest RX and it still handles worse. And the gv70 is as quiet as an RX while simultaneously being significantly nicer inside
@@naveenthemachineGV70 isn’t as quiet. Check the decibels yourself. Also, GV70 infotainment is panorama format, which makes it harder to use that the RX infotainment. RX infotainment looks bigger for being smaller and easy to use.
THESE GUYS SOUND SOFT!!! NOT REAL MEN - TURN OFF !!
Horrible looking SUV, interior suck
